********Author's POV*****

"Where can she be? She left home yesterday without our knowledge. I don't even know where to start looking for her." Daniel lamented, standing akimbo.

"It was all our fault. We left home yesterday and left her all alone." Bella muttered, looking down.

"We are not her babysitter, are we? Amber is a gowned woman. I don't know why she would leave home without telling us." Daniel groaned.

"Or was she kidnapped?" Bella gasped.

"It could be possible that her phone isn't going through either. I hope she is fine." Daniel muttered with his eyebrows lowered and pulled together when Mrs. and Mrs Darlington made their way into the house.

"Have you guys filed a missing person case?" Daniel inquired.

"No, we couldn't. They said it must reach 24 hours first." Mr Darlington replied.

"I don't know why Amber is stressing us like this." Mrs Darlington groaned.

"Maybe we have given her too much freedom." Daniel replied.

"I believe she will come back. We just need to wait." Bella muttered.

"You don't even know where your friend is, and you call her your friend." Mrs Darlington snapped.

"She didn't tell me she was going anywhere," Bella replied.

"Calm down mom, it's not Bella's fault. Amber can be secretive sometimes." Daniel replied.

"I don't want to hear it. You guys should leave me alone." Mrs Darlington said and stomped away.

"I will go and console her." Mr Darlington said, walking after her.

"So no one is going to work because of Amber." Bella muttered, staring at Daniel.

"I don't know why my job has to be every day of the week. I don't mind messing around today. Amber is more important." Daniel said, when his phone started ringing, he brought out his phone from his pocket, thinking it was Amber when he saw that it was his superior at work.

"Hello." Daniel muttered.

"Why aren't you at work yet? Don't you take your work seriously?"

"I take it seriously, but my sister is missing. I can't come to work today." Daniel apologized.

"It's okay, take care of your sister," he assured, and Daniel heard him talk in the background.

"Black people think they can do whatever they want." He snarled hearing this. Daniel was burning with fury as he cut the call.

"What did he say?" Bella inquired.

"He is okay. We just need to look for Amber." Daniel replied, walking out of the house, and she followed him.

Mason put on a red t-shirt and blue jeans in front of Amber, who was looking down.

"I will go outside and look for a way to sneak you out of my room." He stated

"Okay." Amber mumbled.

He walked out of his room and looked around the house, noticing only the maids.

"Come." He said, waving his hand at Amber, who got up from the bed and strolled over to him.

He grasped her hand and started leading her out of the room to the living room when he spotted his mom.

He couldn't hide Amber anymore, so he let go of her hand and stood with her, smiling at his mom, whose gaze was fixed on Amber.
