And an extremely different person.
"Please put this on." One of the models said she was handing her a blue gown that had holes all over her body.
"I can't wear that." Amber protested.
"What are you saying, girl? Go and put it on." One of the artists said.
"Can't you give me another dress?" Amber inquired.
"Who do you think you are? You select the clothes we give you." One of them snarled.
"She is not even a top model and she is behaving like this." Another one added.
Amber burst into tears, crying continuously.
"Please understand my situation. I am not a model. I am doing this because I am forced to." Amber whimpered.
"We don't care how you get here, girl! And stop crying, you are ruining the makeup." One of them snapped.
"Please try to understand." Amber muttered, sobbing.
"If you cry one more time, I will hit you." One of them threatened glaring at Amber.
When they heard a knock on the door.
"Yes, come in." They answered.
A waiter stuck his head into the room.
"The director told me to tell you guys to hurry up." He stated.
"Don't worry, we are on our way." One of them assuredly shut the door in his face.
They turned to look at Amber.
"Fix her make-up, we don't have time for this." One of them declared glaring at Amber, fixed her makeup, and pushed her into the changing room on the other side of the room for her to change her clothes.
Amber walked into the room and struggled to put on the clothes that clung to her body and were exposing her back and her lap because of the small openings.
She took a deep breath and walked out of the room, thinking she had no choice but to finish what she had started.
"Wow, she looked stunning and breath-taking." One of them muttered.
"I can't believe a black girl can be this beautiful. Maybe we have looked down on blacks too much." Another one added.
"I think so, but we have to take her out as soon as possible." One of them said and grasped Amber's hand, leading her out of the room.
Mason and his mother were standing with the director and his team, waiting for Amber.
Mrs. kings stared at her wristwatch.
"What is taking them so long?" She muttered.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling that Amber is the reason they haven't come out yet." Mason replied.
"Who is Amber?" Mrs Kings asked bluntly.
"The black girl." Mason muttered as he saw Amber walking towards them with the artist. She looked breath-taking and elegant as she walked majestically towards them. Mason couldn't help but drool over her.
"She is indeed a model." Mrs Kings remarked.
"Hmm." Mason muttered with his eyes glued to Amber.
She walked over to him, staring at him.
"Don't you know how to smile?" Mrs kings asked, and Amber forced a fake smile.
"Let's get the camera rolling." The director said.
