Expelled

"Here you go. I am very sorry." He apologized.

"You can also rent your hostel beforehand." He declared.

Amber screwed up her face and took the paper from him. Her hand was shaking as she held it. 

"Daniel, you caused all this." She stated through clenched teeth as hot tears fell down her face.

The principal felt pity toward her, but there was nothing he could do because Mr Kings was a major investor in his school.

Amber used her right hand to wipe the tears off her face. He handed her a wiper.

"It's okay." She muttered and ran out of his office.

Xavier caught her in his arms and stared into her eyes.

"What happened to you? I hate to see you cry." He groaned.

"I..I have been expelled." She muttered and hugged him.

"Why will they expel you? Because of Mason. I will teach him a lesson." Xavier said, clenching his fists.

Amber pulled away from the hug.

"Don't do anything. You don't want to end up like me. I will be expelled only for two weeks." Amber muttered.

"But that's too far. I will miss you a lot." Xavier stated.

"You can come to visit me at home some times." She assured.

"Have you seen Nate lately?" She inquired.

"You mean your, male friend? I haven't I don't think he came to school today." Xavier stated.

"Where is Nate when I need him and I don't have his number on this new phone?" Amber lamented taking out the phone from her bag. She switched it on, staring at it.

"I have already added my number." Xavier declared.

"Thank you." She muttered.

He touched her face, staring into her eyes, which were shaking.

"I don't want you to cry anymore. I am here for you. Be strong. This will all pass," he assured. She nodded and put the phone back in her bag and threw away the box it was in.

"Before you go home, come with me." Xavier said and grasped her hand, dragging her away.

"Where are you taking me?" She inquired running away with him.

He took her to the hospital close to their university.

"Why did you bring me here?" She asked flatly.

"To confront the monster." Mason said, leading her into the hospital.

He halted in front of a room and was about to grab the doorknob when Elsa opened the door and her gaze landed on Amber.

"What are you doing here? Are you here to check if he is dead?" Elsa snarled.

"Yes, move out of our way." Xavier said, and pushed her out of the way.

They saw Mason lying in the hospital bed with his hand bandaged and his face covered with plasters.

They both walked to him on the bed.

Mason struggled to sit up on the bed and rested his head on the bed.

"What are you doing here? Witch." he snarled.

"If you call her a witch one more time, I will punch you." Xavier threatened.

"I am not a witch. You are a monster, a beast, a devil." Amber snapped.
