"You are so shameless, bro, so you want to live in the same room as your girlfriend." Amber teased.

"It's not like that I just wanted to.." Daniel couldn't complete his sentence when Mrs Darlington cut in.

"Guys, stop talking and eat your food." Mrs Darlington declared..

Minutes later.

They all finished eating. Mr Darlington dropped his spoon on the floor and bent down to pick it up.

He grabbed his wine from under the table and hid it behind his back, smiling at his wife.

"I am full. I will get going." He stated.

"Alright, I am also through. I just need to pack this plate." Mrs Darlington muttered, arranging the plates on top of each other.

Amber joined in, helping her to pack the plate.

Daniel noticed his dad was hiding something behind his back and smiled at him.

"Shh." Mr Darlington muttered, putting his hand on his lips, as he scurried away.

Daniel turned to look at Bella.

"Come, let's go out for a walk." He stated.

"It's too late. I want to go to bed early," Amber stated.

"I am talking to my girlfriend, not you." Daniel snarled.

"I know it will affect me, but I will have to wait till she comes back before i go to bed," Amber replied.

"You don't have to wait up for her; you can sleep. She will join you later," Daniel replied.

"No, that's not it. She is also starting a new school tomorrow, so she needs to sleep early too," Amber replied.

"Amber, let them go. Bring this plate with you." Mrs Darlington declared, walking away.

Amber frowned, glaring at Daniel and Bella as they walked away

"Did you see the look on her face? Hilarious, right?" Daniel inquired, staring at Bella.

"Yes, let's go." Bella declared, holding his hand as they both made their way out of the house.

Amber was in the kitchen helping her mom do the dishes.

"Oh no, I forgot the wine in the living room." Mrs Darlington groaned, putting her hand on her mouth

"I don't think Dad has taken it." Amber remarked.

"I will go check." Mrs Darlington muttered and strolled out of the kitchen.

Amber finished washing and was about to put the last plate on the shelf when someone threw a stone into the kitchen it landed beside her leg. She

looked at the window. It was open. She walked and shut it. She squatted and picked up the stone from the floor. It was wrapped in paper.

She opened the paper and glanced through it.

"I am waiting outside your house." was the content of the paper.

She became terrified and let go of the paper, which landed on the floor. She didn't know who sent it because there was no name written on it.

She put the plate down and was about to walk out of the kitchen when she bumped into Mrs Darlington.

"I couldn't find it. Your dad already took it." Mrs Darlington stated.

"Then you need to go and take it from him." She remarked.

"I will, have you finish doing the dishes?" Mrs. Darlington inquired.
