The Medic From Hell

[A/N: I made a tiny mistake that's not really tiny. Back in the chapter where Kuchina told Kira about the rasengan, I mentioned that Mito told her about love and how the seal is strengthened AFTER kurama was sealed inside Kushina. I was wrong, kushina was a child back then and well... yeah I made a mistake, so I'll go fix it.

Also, 367 PS so it looks like you guys will be getting a total of 5 chapters tomorrow. Or maybe I should split it into 2+1 for three days instead of 2+3 just for tomorrow... hmm]

"Shut up if you want me to heal your injury. There are people dying and there's no time for me to worry about your pain." Kira said and when the guy still didn't stop struggling and moving his body like a snake, he lifted his hand up and slapped him hard. 

"Tch, so annoying." He muttered, frowning as he made a plus sign with his fingers and two clones appeared beside him before grabbing the man's hands and legs so that Kira could heal him without any disturbance.

As for why he preferred using shadow clones instead of just numbing the guy's pain? It was because, if he ran out of chakra, he could always just make his shadow clones disappear to regain his chakra, but this wouldn't be possible if he simply used his chakra to numb the injured area. 

As for why he was worried about using up too much chakra when he had too much? It was because chakra wouldn't stay in one place while he worked on the injury. 

To numb an area, he had to overload the nervous system around the are with his chakra, but he couldn't just use it recklessly. Since he was overloading the area, he also had to make sure that this chakra wasn't moving to the other parts of the body. 

And to make this happen, he had to actively send another burst of chakra to cancel this out and this had to be done every single second until the treatment was completed.

In simple words, he had to numb the area and also counteract the numbing before it spread to the other parts of the body. Medical anaesthesia was something that the ninjas still hadn't discovered, so there was no chemical way to get someone to fall asleep while making them unable to feel pain. 

Once he had the guy pinned to the bed, he swiftly used his chakra to heal the area but even though he put in a lot of chakra, the process was gradual. Screams escaped the tent and made the people outside wonder what the heck was going on inside, but when they saw Fugaku rushing towards the medical tent, they felt like something was definitely up. 

Some of them followed Fugaku while the others waited outside, trying to eavesdrop. 

Fugaku, who was worried about what Kira was doing, slowed down when he saw the insane amounts of chakra flowing out of Kira's palm and into the guy's thigh.

Although the sharingan's ability to see chakra wasn't as good at the byakugan, it still enabled the Uchiha to see it to an extent.

He turned around to look at the guy who had just snitched on Kira with a frown on his face, "It looks like he's healing the patient. What's your problem?"

"Captain, he punched the head of the medic camp and threatened to punch us if we don't help the people who were poisoned." the guy said as he pointed at Kira, acting as if he was the one who got hit instead. 

Hearing him, Fugaku turned to look at Kira, but the guy seemed to be too focused on the patient in front of him as there were beads of sweat forming on his forehead. Just as Fugaku decided to wait until he was done, the shadow cloned holding the man disappeared. 

"Stop shouting asshole. I'm done with fixing your leg so empty this bed for the ones who need it instead." Kira said as he turned around to look at the people who were placed on the ground at one of the corners. 

Saying that, he ignored the guy and turned to face Fugaku before explaining the situation to him, "Sorry for hitting that guy, but it looked like that bastard was picking patients randomly. The ones who had severe bleeding or were poisoned, seemed to have been abandoned for some reason, so when I asked him to get his people to help the ones who were poisoned so I could take care of the others, he began to talk crap."

He then glanced at the guy who was still on the ground and continued, "So I punched him right in the face. I fixed this guy and I can help a lot more on my own but I don't know how to cure poisons. I just need a team of people who are good at curing poisons so I can take care of the rest."

Fugaku nodded before pointing at the guy whom Kira had just healed, "I get what you're trying to say, but why was this guy shouting like he had been thrown into hell?"

"Well... I wanted to save my chakra so I can heal more people so I didn't numb his pain."

Fugaku turned to look at the guy beside him, "What does that mean?"

The guy who originally snitched on Kira, took this chance to paint him as a villain as he explained about the process while saying that Kira simply didn't know how to do it and that he wanted to torture the patients instead. 

Fugaku waved his hand before turning to look at Kira, "I understand what's going on here. Haaa...." he sighed before he began to explain the situation they were in once again. 

"Listen, the hidden sand people launch an attack once in three to four days. There will be a lot of patients when the attacks happen, but you have more than enough time to recover your chakra to save everyone. There is no need to get everything done in a single day."

"Oh..."
