This Dog can't bite

After overthinking for sometime, i ran back to the edge of the tree branch and dropped down on a pretty big ledge and then proceeded into the opening, this part in the game was really fun because it's a spiral staircase that goes a long way down , you just hold the sprint button and it looks like the camera is being banged into the character's head again and again for a good few minutes ( you can even see their eye balls )

But in reality as I looked down from the railing , it looked like one of those infinity loop photo's " that's a long way to go "

.......10 minutes later....

I reached the bottom room and used a stealth talisman and walked towards a huge door that lies in front of the stairs , I pushed the doors opened ..... , well I tried to push the doors open .... Still trying ...

" I can't open it ... Let's try pushing only one side " I tried to push open only the right part of the door , it slightly opened up , so I took out the dragon halbeard and used it as a lever to widen the gap , it worked, I can't walk straight into the door but atleast i can squeeze in

I re checked my stealth talisman, weapon and then removed my shirt because after the last fight i noticed this oversized shirt keeps fluttering too much and it keeps getting untucked, I entered the boss room while completely hidden

" I need to plan this out first " , I started to remember everything about the boss and it's a tricky situation for real

It's a statue of a dog with a dragon head holding a sword , because it's a statue it can't move all of its limbs , only the hand or leg holding the sword , it's tail and head can move , the other three legs can't move but they can make this doggo jump high and turn around

the head can do a flamethrower attack, tail can do a sweep attack, the sword hand can do slashes and pokes and it can jump and land on me like a body slam attack

The arena is built of stone has four big holes or dents on four sides , the main attraction here are the pillars that support the ceiling, the ceiling is filled with spikes and in the game , if the player makes the boss smash all six pillars , the ceiling will fall and kill the boss , in my first play through I died along with the boss and in my 2nd try i knew I had to hide in one of the holes

The catch here is this , this is a reality and physics exist , so if I break all the pillars and it crashes on the boss , I won't be able to harvest the dragon heart in its body because it will be buried under the ceiling, if half of the pillars are broken on one side of the ceiling, it might collapse from that side , the boss hits really hard , he's not fast but has good health pool and damage to compensate for the speed

"I have to make sure the dog doesn't hit the pillars , I can not get hit and I have to attack .... My attack damage is not that great , stone type enemies are weak to blasts , peirce and blunt type , my dragon halbeard can be used as a spear to poke and blast type .... Right let's do that "

I slowly walked towards the boss statue and placed three talismans under it and came all the way to an edge to activate the talisman

...BOOOOOOOM

The base of the statue had cracks formed on it and it woke up , it was still unable to find me with my stealth talisman on , so it just stayed in place , I went back again and placed another two blast talismans and came back .....BOOOOOOOOM....

this time the blast worked well and it's tail broke off , so no more tail sweep attack but the boss got up with it's cracked base and slowly rolled towards one of the pillars and lifted it's sword .....my eyes widened at what was happening, the boss is smashing the pillars after not finding the culprit.....but why?..... Maybe it thinks that I was hiding behind that pillar ? ,but it doesn't have a conscious..... Maybe it's ai is designed this way

While I was thinking the boss slowly jumped and destroyed a second pillar

"This is getting annoying" i stood up ,removed the stealth talisman and with my dragon halbeard, rushed towards the boss from behind and hit the head as hard as I can , the boss turned around instantly just like in the game and its head started shaking violently

" Oh whats with that look ? , I'm 13 ofcourse I don't have six pack "

Eventhough I know the boss is more like a puppet, i kept saying random bs and ran back because that violent head shake means it's about to do a flamethrower attack

I hid behind a pillar and as soon as the flamethrower was done , I ran to another spot , because of me not wearing a shirt I can feel that the area which was affected by the flamethrower is very hot

After building some distance with scorched area , I went back to the boss and did a poke with dragon halbeard, the boss lifted it's hand for a down swing and I ran towards the left side and did two poke attacks to it's cracked base

" If the enemy is right handed it's better to stay to his right because you can find more openings, if the enemy is dual wielding always head towards the side from which he's attacking from , that way he takes more time to recover and gives you more openings "

The boss brought the sword to the side for swing but because I was on its right side , I ran back to its tail part that was broken and did more poke attacks

I backed off and waited for the next attack to start and the boss jumped high , he turned around to face me in mid air so I ran towards the opposite side

....BAAAM ..

he landed exactly as I expected but because i was facing him , unexpectedly i got dust in my eyes

" Shit , wtf , aaaaaahh " i kept taking steps back and rubbed my eyes , as I opened my eyes again I saw the boss making a move

and i instantly put my dragon halbeard up as to guard and what happened next was really something out of my imagination
