Nightwalker ~when the devil sings

He loathed her. So much so that he was numb from the hatred. He wouldn't kill her~maybe not yet. She glared at him from where she sat on the bed. "Glare all you want since that's what you would be doing from this moment on". "What do you want?" "I will be the musician and you'd be the dancer. Whatever song I sing, you must dance to it. I don't need your will, you just have to obey me". He was the devil himself and this time, she has to be a dancer for him.

Hundred and five. Your pretty sister

Hundred and five. Your pretty sister

Thirty minutes later, the loud engine of the aircraft rumbled in the sky, drawing the attention of all those inhabiting the Realm. Cobra stood from his seat, and walked to the glass wall which ran from the ceiling to the floor. He saw the aircraft whirr in the sky, gearing towards the earth, arriving at the runway.

"They're back" he muttered in excitement.

Monalissa and Milky who were standing side by side looked at each other, and shared a sweet smile.

"Let's go check them out" Milky said and headed towards the door. Monalissa followed immediately leaving Cobra to tend to the things of the tech. However, she had just taken two steps when she bumped into no other person than her master.

"Master" she blurted the moment her head hit his sturdy chest, his unique scent invading her senses. She quickly took a step back but was drawn back to where she was some seconds ago. Annoyed, she raised her head up, her hazel eyes meeting his deep blue ones. "Camille is back master. Let me go and see her" she said, trying to sound as polite as ever.

"Walker, you rush a lot. Remember, you're not the only one now. There are two of you" he said, eyeing her tummy that was as flat as a plane.

Monalissa felt her lashes dance in a blush. "Of course I know" she said, looking indignant. She wanted him to leave her as soon as possible.

"I will take you downstairs, and once you're done seeing Camille, we leave for the gardens. You have been out for too long" Ezekiel stated.

"Yes master" she said and tried stepping away from him, however, his arms were as sturdy as a wall, not allowing her to move. She pursed her lips in protest, asking him with her eyes to let to let her go.

Without saying a word, Ezekiel took her in his arms, leaving Monalissa to gasp in surprise. "The lights on the hallway are dim. I don't want you tripping" he said.

"Okay" Monalissa said and swallowed. She stayed motionlessly in his arms as though she was forced. Ezekiel furrowed his brows at her behavior.

"Relax Walker" he ordered. Monalissa read the message that lay under the tone of his voice. She didn't protest anymore and wound her arms round his neck.

Ezekiel gave a secret smirk and began walking down the hallway which led to the entrance of the Realm.

As they walked, Monalissa was enthralled in the beauty, oozing from him. His profile was a sight to behold, even under the dim light, it couldn't be hidden. He looked like a prince. A prince with a fierce and domineering aura. At the thought of this, her head throbbed. Something flashed through her mind. There was someone who use to be her prince. Someone she didn't know. Her grip on him tightened and this didn't go unnoticed by Ezekiel.

"You're okay Walker?" he asked, halting in his tracks.

Monalissa nodded, and swallowed simultaneously. "I'm okay master" she replied.

Ezekiel looked her over, and noticed the paleness that's taking over her.

"We should get home soon" he said and continued walking out.

Camille and Suga alighted the flight, alongside Alvin who they had dragged with them. The men who had assisted in the operation also alighted the flight and stood beside Camille, facing their Boss who had just come out.

"Boss" Camille called, the moment Ezekiel walked out Monalissa.

Ezekiel didn't even look at her and just focused on the woman who was in his arms. "Kim" he called.

"Yes Boss" he answered and immediately came to stand beside him. He had come out the moment he heard the rumbling sound of the aircraft's engine.

"Is the car prepared?" he asked again.

"Yes Boss" he replied.

Ezekiel nodded. "Walker" he called softly, in a voice only the both of them can hear.

Monalissa was already shy to the bones. The embarrassment was killing her. 'How is he so comfortable doing these kind of things outside?' Monalissa asked within.

"Please put me down master" Monalissa pleaded.

"Mmhmm" he said. Gently and suavely, he placed her down, her feet hitting the earth. Monalissa swallowed and calmed herself before raising her head up to look at Camille who was standing some distance away.

"Camille" Monalissa called out with a happy smile. She was about to leap off but Ezekiel quickly held her back.

"Walker!" he called out firmly.

Monalissa quickly halted and looked at him. "Master" she said. She knew what she had done and could only spare him a giggle.

"If you can't walk quietly, I have no choice than to carry you to where she is" Ezekiel stated.

Monalissa blushed a visible red. This expression gave Ezekiel a satisfactory feeling. He fixed his hands into his pockets. "Go on" he said.

Monalissa cursed at him in her heart and began walking towards Camille who was standing all dressed in black khaki.

"Camille" Monalissa called out when she finally reached the spot where the other woman was standing. "You came back" she said and enveloped Camille in a warm hug. "Thanks for coming back home" Monalissa said.

"Why are you thanking me?" Camille asked with a chuckle.

"I was kinda scared. I wouldn't forgive myself if anything had actually happened to you over there" Monalissa said. "I'm grateful to you" she chuckled.

"Me too" she said.

Monalissa was about to ask for her reason but Ezekiel had gotten closer. She swallowed her question back an kept quiet.

"Well done Camille" Ezekiel said.

"Thanks Boss" she said with a bow.

"What are the reports?" he asked.

"The president of Cee country is really grateful for the information we divulged to him. He says he would  come over to Moon country after his wife returns from the hospital" she said.

Ezekiel nodded and looked at Monalissa. Monalissa was looking at Camille who was talking. Elena's words came back to her head. Her real parents....

"Rest up Camille. Real work starts again tomorrow" he said.

"Yes Boss" she replied.

"Kim, take care of things here. Louis will drive us home" Ezekiel said.

"Yes Boss", Kim replied.

The little boy stepped out of his room, taking quiet steps to the living room. He grasped tightly onto the stuffed toy in his hand, while his other other swung lazily at his side.

"Uncle" he called out.

Elijah looked from the glass of whiskey in his hands and stared at him.

"Uncle, are you okay?" he asked, frightened at the sight of his uncle's red eyes. They were bloodshot.

"Come closer Neon" he cooed, in a gentle voice.

Neon walked closer, a little scared. He ad never seen his uncle like this. Elijah took him in his arms, and settled him on his lap. He began rocking him slowly.

"Uncle, are you ill?" Neon asked.

"Not at all Neon" Elijah replied.

"Then, what happened?" Neon asked, concern filling his face for his uncle.

"Someone took something precious from uncle".

"Who is that?" Neon asked.

"An enemy" Elijah replied.

"Then, that person is bad. Is he the one that made uncle ill?" Neon asked, angry at the culprit.

"Yes. And I want to fight him but I don't even know how to" Elijah said, his heart twisting in anger. He couldn't vent. There was nothing he could do. His two trusted aides have been taken from him and the database from the organization has been infiltrated. Ezekiel really did live up to his name.

"I will help. You have me" Neon said, sounding very cute.

"You can't. You're quite little. And besides, someone you love is also with the enemy".

"Who is that?"Neon asked.

"Your pretty sister" Elijah replied.
