Imani's eyes widened slightly and the fireball she just created died out between her hands as she wondered who the wolf was. Was it Lucas? How did he know that she was being attacked? She slowly took in a deep breath as her head suddenly felt light and lay on the floor. She grew colder as she kept losing blood while listening to the wolves fighting and snarling at each other.

She turned to her side to see the white wolf sink its teeth into the infected wolf's neck and her eyes widened even more. "Lucas, he's infected!" she yelled and the eyes of the white wolf darted to her before it instantly released the infected wolf but its blood was already running down the sides of its mouth.

The brown wolf stayed on the ground, trembling as blood seeped out of the wounds on its neck while the white wolf tried to wipe the blood on its mouth. Imani's mouth fell open while her sight became blurry again and it became hard to keep her eyes open.
