Recalling Memories.

"We can't hold them all off with just guns," Eleanor called out, her tone sharp and steady, even as she whipped around to shoot another villager charging at Riley's back. 

"I know," Riley growled, kicking over a pew to create some distance between them and the encroaching mob. He darted forward, eyes locking onto a villager wielding a rusted axe. A quick shot to the leg sent the villager stumbling, and in one fluid motion, Riley yanked the weapon from his hand, spinning it in his grip.

"Here!" he shouted, tossing the axe toward Eleanor.

Without missing a beat, Eleanor caught the handle mid-air, her fingers curling around the worn wood like it belonged to her all along. She twirled it expertly, cutting through the mob with a graceful, deadly sweep.
