Gin moved his eyes at the room and spoke with the truth, "What do you mean dull, O? I think this is the best I could get for. In fact, I can be alone here for eternity in this room, not even getting bored."
"..."
It was then Gin couldn't hear a response which made him slightly scared. He turned his way to where O is standing and to his surprise, the god's shadowy head was directly looking at him.
"…"
"..."
Gin gulped a mouthful of saliva, seeing O still remained looking at him.
Gin quickly moved his head at the front and began to throw some excuses at the god beside him.
"A-ah… if you don't like it… maybe we could change it… yes let's change it." Gin spoke while stuttering, "Then, what kind of things would you like to do, O?"
"Hmm… ah!" O mode its head to look at the room once more, "Sorry, I was just thinking about what you just said. Anyway, since you already lock your consciousness, a soul would appear in your status window once you are outside."
"N-no, we are talking about something else, O." Gin interjected before asking, "Do you like this room?"
"Ah, that," O answered before it began to scan the room once again,
It was a simple room that has chairs, a table, and a bookshelf. It also had a bed at the side and a writing table beside it. All of it is arranged in a proper manner and anyone could tell that it had a library vibe on it.
"Yeah, it's kind of dull but wow…" O paused before facing Gin, "You really like reading books?"
"Ahaha… yeah. It's fun reading web novels." Gin spoke with all honesty.
"Hmm, I see. Well, if it is your liking then I'm not against it and oh!" O exclaimed before continuing, "It's been a day now. We should say goodbye to each other... We will meet again if... yeah, one day I promise that.
Gin didn't know why but he felt sadness in O's voice, even though it was said in a monotonous one.
'Is it my imagination?' Gin mused inwardly before shaking his head. He continued, "Yeah sure. When we meet again but in your real form, I'll be strong as you."
If he could attain this kind of power, not only he could rest peacefully but he could also protect himself from a danger that he knew would come.
Gin started to move towards the door beside the bookshelf before he glances one last time at the god.
Turning his body around, Gin could see O's shadowy hand waving at him.
Gin also raised his hand up, also waving back before he shouted, "Until we meet again, O!"
"Until we meet again, kid."
After saying goodbyes, Gin entered the door with a satisfied expression.
Thud!
Seeing the door closed, O sigh in regret remembering the words that Gin had left earlier.
"You can alone for an eternity… huh."
Whoosh!
Slowly, O started to fade away starting from its feet.
"When me meet again in my true form..."
Whoosh!
"Please... don't hate me."
It felt like no one was even at the place in the first place.
O disappeared from the air, leaving those words alongside it.
…
Gin slowly open his eyes from his sleep. His eyes felt heavy, hence he decided to stay in the bed for a moment.
After a few seconds, Gin gets up from the bed before scanning the surroundings, starting from the left.
But as soon as he turned his gaze to the right, a pair of his starred at him menacingly making him flinch hard.
"You…!" Gin gasped before he continued, "My heart almost leaped out of my body."
Kisha formed a frown on her face before saying sternly, "What's wrong with you? The way you speak changed."
Realizing that he really did change his voice, Gin let out a sigh before saying, "Anyway, what are you doing here? Something's up?"
Kisha sits on the chair with both of her hands placed on her lap. Seeing it that way, Gin sense something was up, thinking that maybe there is a reason why she is here.
"Nothing. I have free time and everybody is... no, let's not talk about that. Anyway, here's your food," Kisha spoke as she handed a loaf of bread on her right hand and water on her left.
'Nothing huh. Geez, I think I shouldn't overthink things,' Gin mused inwardly before he gladly received the two.
Gin scan the water and the food first before looking at Kisha
"There's no poison mix here, right?" Gin teased.
"Do you want me to put it now, though?" Kisha sternly answered back.
She wasn't sure when Gin has that kind of impression on her, but it made her slightly annoyed somehow.
"It a joke, a joke only. Why so cold… geez. You always had that serious face maybe you could replace it sometimes," Gin said before he smiled faintly, "Anyway, thank you for this."
After saying thanks, Gin began to eat the bread that has been given to him.
As Gin eats, he looked at Kisha and asked, "What happened when I was asleep?"
"It's good, I guess." Kisha answered, "Many people are now coming up and it was still increasing. All of them are safe, don't worry. Nash is taking care of it all."
Kisha paused, "Another thing is the tutorial will really end this time. It told us to wait for five more minutes before we can go out."
"I see." Gin nodded, "Then, how is everybody?"
Understanding what Gin meant, Kisha swiftly answered, "They're all safe and sound. Grey is talking to the people, making friends, or something like that. The same could be said on the others. Well, Nash wasn't the same case."
"Then, why aren't you included to the 'anyone'?" Gin teased once more, "You should make more friends, you know?"
Kisha let out a groan from her mouth before looking at Gin coldly, "If you mean it that way, it's because I don't like to talk to someone who is a stranger. Getting friendly on someone who you don't know is annoying."
"Hmm…is that so?" Gin hummed as he move to the side to get out of his bed.
Kisha didn't know why but she was pretty annoyed at the teases she received. She knew to herself that she was someone who didn't get teased and get annoyed pretty much.
Kisha grumbled faintly before she slowly walk towards the door to make friends like Gin suggested, but was stopped when the same person called her.
"What about you Kisha?" Gin spoke with an impassive voice as he walks towards the table.
Kisha stopped midway on twisting the doorknob before she turned around, seeing Gin getting his mask at the table.
"I'm okay, Gin." Kisha answered with a slightly happy tone, "Alright, I'm leaving now."
Kisha began to leave the room with her annoying feeling, replaced with a relieved one.
Gin, who received the answer, smiled faintly before he started to gear himself up.
...
Seeing many people outside the room, Gin couldn't help but exclaim inwardly, 'Woah, there are so many people transferred here...'
As Gin moved his eyes from everywhere, he stopped his gaze to the place where it is shining and brimming with light.
Gin started to panic and can't help but think inwardly, 'Nash! What if someone steals a piece of it?!'
Out of panic, Gin began to run towards the rewards like his life is depended on them.
Finally coming to his destination, Gin began to breathe heavily before he started to scan the rewards he and his group had.
For some reason, Gin saw that the rewards are still... many.
'Hmm... How could this happen? It is gold with items. Anyone would attempt once if something like this appeared in front of your eyes. And if your luck is great then you'll get tons of it.' Gin mused inwardly and started to move his hand to reach at one item.
"You kid! Stop what you're doing!"
But he stopped himself when someone called him.
"Don't you know it belongs to the important people? What, are you going to steal it?!" A big man shouted loudly, which attracted the people in the vicinity.
"…"
Gin glanced half of his head for a moment before he started to reach the item that is at the top of the gold coins.
Seeing Gin not stopping, the big man mused inwardly, 'Hehe this kid is now done. Hehe, now I thought of a wonderful idea. Maybe I could get some rewards from Nash and Kisha will... finally notice me. Yes... hehe.
"Kid! I know what you're doing! Stop stealing!" The big man continued to shout, "Don't you know that we can't even touch a piece of gold here? A notification will pop up in front of you if you do that!"
The man shouted even higher, making the people watching start to murmur to the people beside them.
"Is that man dumb?"
"Is he a brainless idiot?"
"Yeah, I think he is."
Gin let the murmurs of the people and mainly focused on the words that the big man just said.
'Hmm... A notification will pop up? Is that why people can't steal this?' Gin mused inwardly, 'I see. Well, no notification was seen when I did it. It must be because it considered me as a person who helps clear the tutorial.'
It was then the big man pushed Gin back before he used its big body to block Gin from touching the gold.
'Ugh, this guy is getting on my nerves.' Gin complained inwardly as he looked up at the big man.
"Kid, are you not listening? I said it is futile!" The big man continued to shout further as he looked down at Gin.
'This kid is really weak.' The big and tall man mused inwardly, 'Hehe, what is this? Am I a lucky person or what? If this masked guy is a little bit more intimidating, maybe it will be good, no?'
"My name is George." The big man revealed his name before he continued with a hint of justice in his voice, "You should be glad to even know my name, thief. For a moment, what is your name?"
'Pft, Hahahaha! What the hell is this? Are you some kind of villain from a wuxia novel?' Gin mused inwardly as he felt like laughing.
He then continued with a serious one, 'Then, since you're like that... can I kill you? Seeing that you're the same as those guys, it is valid right?'
Gin then looks at George's expression, who is wearing a smirk on his face.
'Hah! This bastard… Is this what you want?' Gin said inwardly, finally understanding what the big man wanted from this.
[Truth Eyes-See Through- has been activated]
Gin activated his eyes as he saw George step back a moment with a hint of surprise on his expression.
At the moment, Gin thought the guy was strong but seeing it now, he wanted to scoff at it but he stop himself from doing it.
"Weak…" Gin mumbled.
With only a little distance, George clearly heard it on his ears and can't help but voice out in an annoyed tone, "What did you say?"
"I said you're weak." Gin spoke a little bit loudly, "Anyway, I think my concern here is already solved without me doing anything. You can shout all you want."
Gin paused as he turned around before speaking with a glance at George, "You try to steal this, right?"
"W-what?"
'Since you already attract audiences, I'll let them see a show.' Gin mused inwardly before he turned around and continued loudly, "You just tried to steal' I said. Are you deaf? You're big yet your brain isn't. Oh, sorry that was a bad analogy. Maybe your already small brain made your hearing also... low."
George's face started to be distorted but he felt like he was on a lead, making him blurt out excuses.
"N-no, you're wrong, I didn't try to steal! I just heard it from the people's talk and was trying to defend it from the likes of you! Thief!" George shouted, which even attracted more people.
Gin wanted to laugh but hold it in, before he continued, "You really are a brainless guy. I guess what I said earlier is true. Small, Brain, Guy."
Gin touched the chin of his mask as he watch George slowly crumble.
Seeing that he couldn't speak, Gin continued. "If you want to show off, at least pick someone that had the same brain as yours. Hey, let me tell you a hole on your show, brainless guy."
Gin paused. "If I had to steal something, let me be. You just said from your mouth that a screen will pop up, I, at least want to try it."
Gin raised his finger up and acted like an idea had popped inside his head, "I see now. Maybe you wanted to tell everybody that you're some kind of saint, fighting for justice or some sort? What are you, a kid? Pft, how funny."
The crowd fell silent. All of them could agree to Gin at that point as they began to have doubts about siding George.
All of them look at George's side and they could tell that he was about to burst out.... and he did.
He charged forward to Gin and grip his shoulders tight.
Gin, who was about to get out, felt a strong grip on his shoulder making him stop his tracks.
"You must be wishing death kid," George said as he even clenched his grip further.
Although Gin is above, stats-wise, he could still feel the pain from others, not less from a man's big firm hand.
Afraid of prolonging it more, Gin used his elbow and aim it at George's hand.
Whoosh!
George quickly retract his hand and stepped slightly away back.
Gin turned around only to see George's angry face. He caress his shoulder as he carefully looked at George.
'That damn hurt, fuck. Do I really have to do those kinds of things? I didn't even know this guy or something I hate him with...' Gin said inwardly
The thought he had earlier was only an idea that entered his mind if George went too far.
He wouldn't just mindlessly kill whoever crosses his way. What if the person just accidentally bump him, he wouldn't just say 'You dare cross my way? I'll kill you bastard.'
Whoosh!
Seeing Gin being carefree, George didn't miss the chance and grabs Gin's upper shirt. He had an intimidating expression on his face currently but Gin didn't even flinch slightly.
'I can't just kill this guy.' Gin decided inwardly, 'I'm maintaining my good image to Nash you know?'
"Let's see who is the weak, kid," George threatened as he raised his one available hand up.
Seeing his hands, Gin ready himself but he stayed still as he wouldn't want to attract attention from others. It might backfire him later.
He needed to see what would happen first.
"George!"
It was then a shout from both sides, making George stop from landing a blow from Gin.
"Gin!"
Kisha shouted the name Gin with Nash beside her. Clearly seeing what was happening, the two started to rush towards Gin.
The two of them had coincidentally met up and to the place as they heard a fight circulating in here.
But what they didn't expect Gin was the one being on the scene
On the other side, some unknown man had called George with people following him.
Nash and Kisha were the first ones to come to the scene before the two of them give George a cold look.
"H-hey, Kisha. I was trying to teach this little thief a lesson. You see this kid is trying to steal—" George couldn't as he was stopped by Nash.
"Can you please remove your hands from that guy."Nash spoke with an impassive voice, "I'm warning you George."
Seeing his gaze, George quickly let go of Gin before he slightly move back.
Gin gives Nash a nod before he requested, "I need a bandage. Do you have that?"
"Why did you need that?"
"My shoulder hurt a little bit." Gin paused. "Someone press it really hard that it started to sting."
"I see..." Kisha nodded, quickly deducing everything that had happened before giving George a cold look one last, "I'll follow you."
Gin nodded before the two decided to leave together.
Creak!
But as soon as they turned around, they heard a loud creaking sound on their back making them stop and also look back.
Not only them saw it but also every people inside the place.
Creak!
All of their eyes were focused on the big and gigantic wall, which kind of looked like a door opening. It was a slow one but it raised the hearts of the people inside.
Remembering that last week they're only at work working, sleeping soundly from their homes, and enjoying time with their loved ones was when suddenly they're just transferred from this world.
It was really weird.
As the door continued to open, some are happy that they can start a new life. Some are sad as they will leave the once world they knew. Some are also thinking that they will come back from their homes but they knew it had a slim chance of happening.
Everyone had their reasons to be happy, regretful, and sad.
Thud!
The wall stopped leaving everyone to be silent and looked at the view beyond the door.
It was a new world where they would be staying, enjoying, fight themselves on it.
And the moment they step outside, everything will change.
And beyond it will be their new home.
That was what happening on the people's minds as Gin didn't care about all those bullshit.
Gin watch the door open slowly with horror as he remembered something really important, making his eyes open widely.
It is so important that his hands started to shake while it reaches out his hair.
'Ah...Shit!'
