Dinner with Grandma.

Sukh Restaurant...

Barry felt his chin and laugh dryly. "Aren't you bit guilty at me?".

With noodles still crammed in her mouth, Leila threw a fierce glance at Barry who had spoken such a distaste question.

Barry looked at her up and down, then handed her a few tissues discontentedly. He couldn't believe that his stoic brother has a taste in this type of girl.

He picked up his cup and drank some water to go with the food in his mouth. "Okay. I will believe you if you answered me honestly" He urged.

Leila grabbed a steamed bun from his hand. "I told you, I am not close enough with you to explain my personal affairs".

Barry felt his forehead helplessly. "Seriously you...!" He snorted.

Leila threw an 'are you an idiot look' at Barry. "Why not ask him yourselves if you are that curious?"

The corners of Barry's mouth twitched up slightly. "Leila Green! I underestimated you all this time".

After having lunch with Barry, Leila focused on her work. She gathered the documents that she had just reviewed and made her way to elevator.

Leila jolted out of shock when someone suddenly tapped her shoulders. She turned around to find Vicki, smiling at her, making her let go of the breath she has been holding.

"Why do you look at me like that?" Vicki pouted.

Leila waved her hand. "No.... I felt like someone will strangle me from behind" She sneered.

Vicki broke into a huge grin. "Cheer up girl! No one would dare to look into your eyes now" Vicki said enviously as she entered the elevator with Leila.

Just as the elevator doors were about to close, an arm stretched in to hold them open and a lady walked in.

"Evening....!" She greeted with a devilish smile. When her gaze fell on Leila, her smile become more wicked.

Leila did not bother answering. Seeing that Vicki was on her side, she did not speak to the lady either.

When they arrived at the third floor, the lady walked past them with a confident smile.

Vicki, on the other hand, tugged on her arm and said, "That crazy Stella is with you in Lols Garden Project, Right?".

Leila's expression immediately changed as she was on the verge of crying. "Yes. She is the leader and I am the ad designer".

All the five staff members from the Lols Garden Project were gathered in the conference hall.

Stella was standing off to one side while instructing an intern to serve coffee.

Stella's smile froze when Mr Harry, the head of Designing Department compliment Leila.

"Miss Green, Director Stone really praised your idea and he would like to meet you to discuss the details of this project."

Upon hearing that, she was stunned. Her face lit up as she thanked him sincerely.

Stella gave a sharp glance at Leila as she stood up hurriedly. Her hip-hugging workwear flaunted her perfect figure and she was smiling charmingly. She placed the design and started discussing with Harry with a coquettish smile.

Leila suppressed the bubbling disgust and annoyance within her chest. So, she turned away to look at the marketing group.

Leila walked out of the conference room without waiting for anyone. She paused her steps when she saw the familiar woman in front of her office.

Upon seeing her, Julia approached her with a polite smile. "Miss Leila, Sir Nicholas was waiting for you in his car. Please follow me".

Leila tightened her fists at her sides and she answered Julia steadily, "I am so sorry. I have another meeting in thirty minutes".

However, just as Leila was about to take step, Julia stopped her and she smiled at her apologetically. "Miss Leila, You don't have to worry. I will take care of that. So, it would be nice if you follow me". Her voice was threatening.

"Is she threatening me too?" Leila cussed in her mind. Julia took Leila silent as her way of saying yes, so she led her.

"Gosh! This is so depressing!" Leila frowned as she followed Julia. Leila with gloomy expression walked to the car with hesitation. The car window slowly lowered, exposing the perfectly handsome face of Nicholas. He was wearing a blue leisure suit, which was brightly colored and elegant-looking.

After that, the car door opened automatically, and she sat in the car reluctantly. She turned her head and immediately saw a pair of black, profound irises.

"Sir....." Leila narrowed her eyes at him, feeling nervous already. Nicholas arched his eyebrows, "Do you have something to tell?". He calmly interrupted starting the car.

"Nothing! Sir" Leila said as she adjusted her seat comfortably. She looked at him from the corner of her eye. "Sir, Where are we going?" She asked.

Nicholas looked at her for a moment before he focused his attention on the road ahead of them. "To have dinner with Grandma" He replied nonchalantly.

"What are you saying?" Leila screamed, looking at him with a little bit of worry in her eyes.
