Light me up

Ivo's eyes cut to the balcony doors. That small private quarter of open air he'd been courting all day. When he shifted his gaze to Davi he was looking in the same direction, his lips curling in a faint smile.

"Beats crowding in the window, doesn't it?"

'No. Not really' Ivo wanted to say, but just thinking about the safehouse made his middle tighten painfully. All of a sudden he had a powerful desire to be back there, in the cramped room he and Davi shared with Alina.

"I hate it here," was what he said in the end. "I wish we could kill them now and go back home."

Davi's quiet laugh wiped away Ivo's concern that he might have said too much. "And here I was afraid you'd get used to the easy lux life."

Ivo frowned and walked up to the travel bag to pick out a pair of clean, black boxers, he slipped them on under the towel and then let it drop to the floor. "Do you have a lighter?" he asked Davi. "I don't know where I left mine."
