NECRO-Driver Dawn EP 5: A Dangerous Power Unleashed!

(After about 2 minutes of making sure everyone has their uniforms, Roux finally makes it to Jin's room.) (Play Mobile Suit Gundam OST- Prayer for Peace)

Roux: *Knocks on door* Hey, are you in there? *Knocks again with annoyance* Look, I don't have all day to be standing here. *Gets frustrated and just walks in. She looks around and notices that Jin isn't there.*

Jin: Oh, it's you Roux!

Roux: *She turns around to see Jin walking into the room*

Jin: What are you doing here?

Roux: *Looks uninterested* You can stop with the small talk. I just came here to give you your uniform.

Jin: Oh uh, thanks.

Roux: Hmph, I'm just doing Ja'Skaar a favor. *Begins to walk towards the door* Now if that's all, then I'll just see myself out.

Jin: Wait, you're leaving already? You just got here.

Roux: I have no business here, I'd rather mind my own business in my own space and time.

Jin: I can understand that, but you could at least speak to me like a normal person.

Roux: *Still looking annoyed* I am speaking to you like a normal person, so what do you want?

Jin: C'mon Roux, it hasn't been that long. Remember our bet?

Roux: Yeah, what about it?

Jin: I won, didn't I?

Roux: *Looks with frustration* Yeah you won, so what?

Jin: So that must mean I get some kind of reward. Winning usually comes with one anyway.

Roux: *Annoyed* Fine, what do you want?

Jin: Oh uh… I honestly don't know, I hadn't given it much thought.

Roux: You're not really all that smart are you?

Jin: I honestly didn't think I'd get this far, I thought you'd just deny it. Hmm let's see…

Roux: *Cuts him off* Forget it.

Jin: *Generic anime yell of confusion and shock* HUH?! BUT I HAVEN'T EVEN SAID ANYTHING YET!

Roux: *Looks annoyed and disgusted* Please, it's so easy to tell what you want just by looking at you. Guys like you will try to take advantage of anyone.

Jin: I'm not… I'm nothing like that at all!

Roux: That's what they all say.

Jin: *Annoyed* Okay what it is with you? First you try to leave without actually speaking to me, and then you insult me? What did I ever do to you?

Roux: *Generic anime evil look* You were born…

Jin: Why… Why are you so evil?

Roux: I'm leaving now. We're leaving soon, you better be ready when the time comes. *Leaves room*

Jin: Well that was weird, why is she so angry? *Sigh* Guess I better get ready… Hm, what's this? *He notices some paper inside the bag, and begins reading it to himself. As he continues reading, he grows more and more surprised by what he's reading. After he's done reading, he hides the paper under his desk and then changes into his uniform.* (Meanwhile on the bridge)

Capt. Maeko: Is the ship ready for takeoff?

Kira: Yes Captain Maeko. But ya know, it's bad luck to leave without naming a ship.

Capt. Maeko: Blitzwing, that's what we'll call it. Kira, let's takeoff now, all units prepare for combat!

(Meanwhile back in Norahs about 20 minutes ago… So basically like this would be right before the start of the episode)

Lady Shirina: UGH! What is taking them so long?!

Shenrei: Patience now my lady, I'm sure they'll be fine.

Lady Shirina: I think we both know patience is something I hate. I want to know how they are doing. (Just then, a message comes in informing them of the situation)

Shenrei: So it seems like they manage to inflict damage to some of the crew.

Lady Shirina: But they've used up a lot of supplies. Shenrei, accompany the ship that is to resupply them.

Shenrei: Well you're certainly being a bit cautious. I thought you said that you didn't want them to rely too heavily on me. This seems counterintuitive on your end, why the change of heart?

Lady Shirina: After that last attack, we don't know what the enemy is capable of. Sending you out there is our best chance to gain intel while holding our own.

Shenrei: I suppose you're right. Alright, I'll see to it that they're resupplied.

(To save time, I'll summarize the next part. He leaves, and then they go to resupply and all that. Time skipping back to present time)

Capt. Maeko: Alright, we're about 10 minutes away from the enemy. Jin, Roux, I want you both to scout ahead for us.

Roux: *Looks annoyed* Ugh… Why do I have to go with someone unappealing?

Capt. Maeko: Because we'll have an easier time attacking the enemy with two instead of one. As for this "unappealing" factor, frankly I don't give a damn about if you find him appealing or not. You're a soldier, you will do what I say whether you like it or not, got it?

Roux: If I have to… Just don't get in my way Jin.

Jin: Tch, you don't have to be so rude! I'm heading to the rear deck now. (He leaves to go put his battle suit on before heading to the rear deck. When he gets there, Sonjo and Khan are waiting on standby) (Play Dragon Ball Z Kai - Fusion's Theme (Official) Unreleased OST)

Jin: Honestly I don't see why I have to go. I'm probably the most passive one out of the three of us.

Sonjo: Well since we're soldiers now, we don't really have a say in the matter.

Khan: Don't worry, this will all be over soon. We won't have to fight too long.

Capt. Maeko: Zach, open the hatch from the rear deck! Launch the catapult as soon as we can!

Zach: You got it sir! Roux you're launching first, are you ready?

Roux: Let's just hurry up and get this over with. *She launches in the Hawk Fighter* (The new name for the fighters used by the main characters)

Jin: This is Jin, ready for launch! *He launches in his mech and flies beside Roux*

Zach: Jin, the enemy is close by. Go about 10 kilometers, and then you should see them.

Jin: Roger that, let's do it! *They fly off towards the enemy fleet*

Capt. Maeko: All hands, prepare to follow them! Zach, maximize all Blitzwing engines for full combat speed.

Zach: Yes sir! (After a few seconds, the Blitzwing lifts off of the ground and then begins following them.)

(Meanwhile Shenrei has just arrived where the enemy fleet is, and is preparing to unload the supplies)

Shirinan Soldier: Commander Shenrei! *Salutes*

Shenrei: *Salutes* At ease soldier, how's the morale?

Shirinan Soldier: The morale is holding steady, we seem to be feeling alright despite the setbacks.

Shenrei: That's good, it's important to stay calm and keep a level head. Even under the most dire of circumstances, a calm head can win you a battle.

Shirinan Soldier: The soldiers here will surely be glad to see you, they thought Lady Shirina had all but abandoned them.

Shenrei: Oh she's done nothing like that. She just wanted to see how you men would fare in battle without me. If you ask me, I'd say you men have more than proved yourselves to her.

(The ship finally attaches itself to the other, and begins transferring supplies. The camera pans back to Jin and Roux.) (Play Naruto Shippuden OST - Prophet (Yogensha) + Crimson Flames (Kouen)

Roux: Listen to me Jin. Just because we got paired up, doesn't mean I'm working together with you.

Jin: Will you stop that? If we want to survive, then we need to work together!

Roux: I would rather die than do that.

Jin: *Grunts* Getting mad…

Roux: *Begins mocking Jin* Oh boohoo! What are you gonna do, make a mental note about how I made you mad?

Jin: *Annoyed* Tch… Look, the enemy is right there. Let's contact Captain Maeko and let him know. *Turns on comms* Captain Maeko, we've found the enemy sir.

Capt. Maeko: Excellent, we'll have visual contact in 5 minutes. So until we're in sight, don't deplete your resources.

Jin: Roger that, beginning the attack now. *Lines up shot with his beam rifle*

(Panning back to Shenrei and the enemy fleet)

Shenrei: There's something that seems off about all of this. We're so close to the enemy, and yet they haven't tried to launch an attack.

Shirinan Soldier: It is a rather concerning thought sir, but I doubt they'd be able to overwhelm us. I think we can handle anything they throw at us.

Shenrei: You're rather optimistic aren't you?

Shirinan Soldier: Well, it's helped me to survive this long. Maybe it's the reason I'm still alive.

Shenrei: Very well said soldier, well said indeed.
