Kira: Oh no! 

Sonjo: He's getting killed out there! 

Khan: C'mon Jin, get up and fight!

Alex: What's the matter with him? Why didn't he just charge in while she was powering up?

Roux: He didn't do it because he couldn't.

*Everyone looks confused*

Zach: What do you mean?

Roux: The power of void perception goes beyond just being able to see and change the reality around you. It also affects everything, and everyone around you. While Lalah was powering up, she was changing the reality around her. By the time Jin had realized what was going on, it was already too late. 

Master Tazz: And this "alternate reality"... Is it just as real as the one we're in now.

Roux: Yes, but it comes at a great cost.

Fadra: What cost?

Roux: Remember how Lalah was crying out in pain earlier? That's because using the power puts a lot of strain on your mind and body. It's different from powering up using your own strength as a catalyst. Void perception puts insane levels of pressure on your mental and physical psyche. The toll this power takes on someone is immeasurable. 

Khan: You speak as if you have some first hand experience. How do you know so much about it?

Roux: Because the power is mine.

*Everyone gasps!*

Sonjo: That's… Impossible!

Roux: And yet here I am telling you it is.

Capt. Maeko: So the Norahs incident from 15 years ago, all of the children who were taken and experimented on… You were one of them?

Roux: Don't sound so surprised captain, I know you've known this for quite a while.

Capt. Maeko: What? How?

Roux: Did you really think I wouldn't notice? About my power, about you knowing? 

Fadra: Sis…

Roux: Whatever, it doesn't matter. The fact of the matter is that so long as the Principality have void perception, they're going to be very difficult to defeat. If we don't hurry, Jin's as good as dead. 

Capt. Maeko: Then what are we waiting for? Let's go save him now!

Roux: Don't bother, you'd just be getting yourselves killed.

Sonjo: Huh? But you just said he'll die if we don't hurry.

Roux: That's true.

Khan: So then why are you telling us not to bother?

Roux: If you go now, you'll stand no chance against void perception. 

Roux: Remember, void perception is a mental power. The only way to negate its effects, is for the user to be unable to use the power. But that girl's desire to protect Shenrei is too great, you'll need to defeat them another way. You need me.

Master Tazz: You plan to fight all of them alone?

Roux: Why not? Isn't that what Jin did? It worked for him.

Alex: Yeah, before the "legendary power" showed up!

Khan: Why don't all of us just go in together and fight them?

Zach: Yeah! There's no way they could beat all of us!

Sonjo: It's much better than sending someone in to fight 1v4.

Fadra: Roux?

(All of them look at her to see what she's thinking… But then, they see Jin standing up on the screen. Despite all of his injuries, he still presses on. Not only that, but he smiles confidently.) 

Fadra: He's… still going?

Master Tazz: He's still going despite how much pain he's suffered. You really are remarkable Jin.

Roux: (That's right Jin. Show them your strength. You better show me your strength at all times) 

Khan: This man is just a different kind of guy.

Roux: *Smiles* Listen, I really appreciate you all trying to help. But, I'm gonna save Jin on my own.

Fadra: But Roux! *She runs to hug her in crying*

Roux: Look at him, smiling at us, as if he's not in any danger. Like there's no need for us to worry… He's always been like that. I remember once I asked him to go somewhere with me. And then I found this guy lying in the grass all relaxed. You see, it's my heart that's connected to his. Besides, what kind of idiot jumps in 1v4? I'm doing it for me too. Jin saved my life once, at a time when I needed saving. Now, it's time for me to return the favor. He needs me.

Fadra: There's a deep bond that binds you to each other. No matter what happens, you can reach him. All you have to do is trust in that connection.

Zach: Gee, we're all connected to Jin in some way.

Kira: That's right!

Sonjo: And if things get too rough out there, I promise we'll back you up. Saving Jin is our favorite pastime. 

Roux: Guys, thank you. Jin will be out of harm's way before you know it.

*Roux gives Fadra one more hug, and everyone else one more nod before going to the rear deck. She takes a deep breath, before flying off towards the battlefield.* 

(Meanwhile, back on the battlefield…) (Stop playing the song.)

Jin: *Trying to catch his breath*

Graves: Well, it looks like he's ready to keep fighting.

Shenrei: You've done well thus far Jin, I'll give you that.

Lady Shirina: Unfortunately for you, your time's running out, and there's no one here to save you. It's the end of the line for you Jin.

Ayumi: PREPARE FOR TROUBLE!

Baron Hampton: MAKE IT DOUBLE! 

Ayumi: To protect the world from Sonjo's hatin!

Baron Hampton: To unite all steak raisers within all nations!

Ayumi: To uphold the joys of truth and love!

Baron Hampton: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Ayumi: AYUMI!

Baron Hampton: Baron!

Ayumi: Foul haters, blast off at the speed of light!

Baron Hampton: Surrender now, or prepare to fight! 

(All throughout the Sarlen homeland and Takar, cities erupt in cheer as Baron and Ayumi appear on screen!) (Stop playing the song)

Jin: Baron and Ayumi?

Graves: Oh no, not you!

Shenrei: Of course… You two would appear before us.

Jin: I never thought I'd be so happy to see you two.

Baron Hampton: We're not here for you Shenrei and Graves!

Ayumi: We're here for another reason!

Lady Shirina: And that is…

Ayumi: TO DEFEAT YOU!

Baron Hampton: TO MARRY YOU LADY SHIRINA!

Ayumi: WHAT?! YOU'RE STILL ON THIS BIG BROTHER!

Baron Hampton: WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! I'M NOT JUST GIVING UP ON HER!

Ayumi: THERE'S NOTHING TO PRESERVE!

Baron Hampton: YOU JUST DON'T WANT ME TO BE HAPPY! ADMIT IT! 

Ayumi: I DON'T WANT YOU TO BE DUMB! LADY SHIRINA DOES NOT LOVE YOU!

Baron Hampton: SHE'S RIGHT HERE, SO WHY DON'T WE ASK HER?

Jin: Can you two maybe just-

Baron Hampton: HEY! Lady Shirina! Please tell the whole world that you and I are together.

Jin: Baron please, there's no way that she would ever say-

*Everyone except Baron and Lady Shirina stand in disgust…*

Jin: Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather lose my arm than have to listen to this again.

Graves: It's not so bad once you get used to it.

(Just then, Lalah faints and falls to the ground. The strain of void perception had finally caught up to her, and now she's not able to use the power)

Shenrei: Lalah! *He runs over to check on her* I didn't know the toll of void perception would be this great.

Ayumi: Enough of this big brother! If you won't listen to reason, I'll just have to knock some common sense into you. 

*The two of them begin fighting while everyone sits there confused. But then…*

Jin: *He notices that void perception is no longer affecting his body. He gets an idea in his head, and begins smiling…*

Lady Shirina: This is quite a sight indeed. Are you feeling alright?

Jin: *Cocky chuckle* Yeah, I just thought of a good way to defeat you.

Lady Shirina: You still think you can defeat me? Even in the state you're in now?

Jin: Yes I do. (I can't believe I'm actually about to do this. Guess I owe Ayumi for this one.)

(Meanwhile on the Blitzwing) 

Sonjo: Look, Jin looks like he's about to try something.

Khan: Hey, that stance looks awfully familiar. 

Alex: Hey, what's he doing?

Kira: *GASP* I know what he's about to do! 

Sonjo: What?

Master Tazz: This guy is just full of surprises. 

Khan: Oh wait, NOW I see it. *Tries to control his laughter*

Sonjo: WHAT?

Khan: Sonjo, you really don't recognize that pose?

Sonjo: No, why are you laughing?

Khan: You'll find out soon enough.
