Kolra watched the exchange with wide eyes, her heart pounding in her chest. She had thought her actions had driven a wedge between her and Kayo. She thought he despised her for the choices she had made, but seeing him now, standing in front of her, ready to face Abyssam, she realized the depth of his love for her.

Tears welled up in Kolra's eyes, "Kayo I…... I thought you hated me," she confessed.

Kayo turned his gaze towards his sister with sadness in his eyes. "I may not have agreed with the path you chose, Kolra, but I never stopped loving you," he admitted, "I realized that letting my anger consume me would only further distance us. I want us to find our way back to each other."

Abyssam sneered at their emotional exchange, his tendrils thrashing around in a frenzy. "Emotions are your weakness," he hissed, lashing out with a powerful strike towards Kayo.
