Queen Maer's gaze shifted towards her son, Howl, who stood nearby, nursing his injured arm. She approached him with concern and sternness.

"Son, are you injured? What happened here?"

Howl lowered his gaze. He recounted the battle with King Utsu and the overwhelming power of the dark blasts. Despite his injuries, he stood tall, refusing to let his pain diminish his resolve.

"I took a heavy blow from King Utsu's attacks, but I'll be fine, Mother," Howl replied with a scowl taking over his face. "We managed to defeat him, but it wasn't without cost."

Queen Maer's eyes softened as she listened to her son's words. She placed a gentle hand on his uninjured shoulder.

"You have shown great strength and bravery, my son, and now, you have done what you needed to do."

Howl just smirked, knowing that he just secured his next step in ascension.
