Chapter 164: Training for the Tournament

The day at Desertland Hotel began with the sun gently rising over the desert landscape. Wendy slowly opened her eyes, feeling a warmth beside her. She smiled when she saw Misty snuggled up against her, the young Neospacian still half-asleep and holding onto Wendy's arm. "How cute," Wendy thought, gently brushing a strand of hair away from Misty's face. She carefully extricated herself from the embrace, not wanting to wake Misty just yet. "She snuck into my arms again."

In Aurelia and Garaku's room, the morning light seeped through the curtains, gently waking them. Aurelia, always an early riser, bounded out of bed with her typical enthusiasm. "Good morning, Garaku! Time to start the day with a smile!" she chirped.

Garaku, still feeling a bit groggy, managed a sleepy smile in response. He sat up in bed and reached for the TV remote, wanting to catch up on the news while they got ready for the day.
