Surprise revealed

"yes" both reacted and said at the same time looking at each other,

seeing their reaction Marina took vina's hand and left the room saying

"alright since you both are getting your surprises why don't we discuss it later when ww have time"

since they came late without delaying took over their work and all the arrangements sped up finishing with only an hour before the celebration starts

Soon after finishing the arrangements they left to get ready and attend the celebration party.

Guests started to arrive half an hour before and few staff members were arranged to make them comfortable with the arrangements.

it wasn't a grand party but looking at it has a simple entrance with minimal decoration and most likely local foods which includes sweets that are only popular in their region. Even though it wasn't grand and luxurious but a kind that let people feel comfortable.

Parvati and Prasanth are the first to arrive as hosts following Vivek and Vanitha to support their long life buddies and started welcoming guests

five minutes before Kuldeep, Marina, Navina along with Manish joined, looking at them made their parents proud and happy giving some ambiguous looks at them.

As they entered everyone saw Kuldeep coming in front followed by Manish and Navina along with Marina followed them greeting the guests they get in touch with until they reached the place where their parents are, after greeting their elders and a brief chat among them Prasanth started walking towards the dias to address the guests and officially start the celebration.

"Good evening to all the guests, it is our honour to have all of you here,as it is your support that led to have such a day,thanks for supporting us all these while and...

blah..... blah..... blah.....blah "

while Prasanth is addressing Marina couldn't hold herself from the word 'surprise' which is for both her brother and friend

"hey Vina aren't you curious about your surprise will be? "

"No.. "

"why???.. "

"What do you mean why? "

"..... "

'is she really my friend? doesn't she know that I can't hold any suspense and that too surprises'

"don't you wanna know what's waiting for you and you Deep what do you think your surprise will be that too you know that both of you are getting... hmmmm.... maybe in a while" asked Marina

" if what you said is true... won't I know in a while then is there any meaning for me to even get anxious? "

their bickering continued...before it can get more Navina wanted to stop their discussion because it may leave a kind of disrespect when all others are concentrating on Prasanth's speech

"Marina now let's stop it we can talk about this later"

followed by Kuldeep"yes Marina stop talking , look at others don't disturb them"

"Deep! are you my brother and you Vina are you my friend why don't you even try to comfort me?? "

".... Marina what's there to comfort and why are you more anxious than us, even if you are, what's there to be known,.....we will know at that time and that too in a while right"

"alright.. alright... I will not bother with you two, I don't understand how I can be so close to you when you don't even care about me... hmph... "

their parents saw them bickering and Vanitha said " sigh... oh dear why the three of you are bickering don't you wanna listen to the speech and you Vina and Marina what happened that made you two too busy to get distracted? "

immediately all became silent but since Marina couldn't hold it said " Aunty see they are bullying me, I just wanted to make them guess their surprises but instead they are bullying me" like a kid 👶 she made faces

Vanitha smiled saying "oh child why are you feeling wronged just let them be, maybe who knows you might get your answer the next minute" and left.

only then Marina did realize " hey do you think that dad may reveal your surprises after his speech" little excitedly.

"Marina do you even know what you're saying!!"

Deep understood what Marina meant but didn't comment

All these while Manish was silent and just enjoyed the show but unexpectedly as he realized a possibility of a surprise to a man and woman that was the only possibility he thought of

"Marina why are you pestering them who knows Prasanth sir might suddenly announce their marriage as surprise!!!!! " said being astonished

from the start both Deep and Vina know the possibility but they never voiced out their opinion and even when it is voiced out they didn't react and at the same time

Prasanth continued his speech

"..... now that we have gone together on a successful path after facing many hardships, I feel very blessed to have my family and friends who followed and and supported me all this while so taking this as an opportunity I would like to share a good news with all of you ... "

when Prasanth came to this point his expression changed into relieved and happy smile as if he is a person with no worries.

when everyone heard this first sentence everyone was waiting to know what can be but some changed their expression knowingly among them there are also the candidates involved and Marina exclaimed "don't tell me what Manish said is true" with a blank expression then turned happy looking at those two who are calm as if they expected this

finally Prasanth continued who couldn't help but smile "..... and that is my son Kuldeep's marriage.... where as the bride is my best friend Vivek's only daughter Navina, wishing them to have a happy married life with all your blessings, once again thank you for joining us and being patient with all my long long speech" finished Prasanth laughing and left the dias

all the guests turned at the declared couple but they were still the same as before as if it doesn't concern them
