may blinked. " wait, is that why you're acting this way?". she asked. mere taunts?.

". knowing the king, he might so... so... so, don't judge me with those hazel eyes of yours ". Mira said rubbing her chest area with a panicked look on her adorable face.

may sighed again and got up to usher the princess out. but mira still put up a fight though, and ended up at the throne room's entry door at last.

immediately after crossing her doorstep, the stubborn and unapproachable Mira merged. she walked through the corridors and arrived in front of the throne room with only a blank face. hated flaunting her emotions and giving her enemies the satisfaction of seeing her down.

immediately she entered the throne room where the elders and her father were gathered, everywhere turned silent... and as she walked past the elders, their greedy and dirty eyes trailed her movements.

". old perverts...". she mumbled.

the red headed woman with an average figure yet bewitching face was especially happy to see the uncovered looks the old men were giving her long time rival's child.

well, forget them for now, Mira thought, as she finally arrived in front of her father and did the formal greetings... as if they'd value it.

" your highness". she curtsied before returning to standing with her eyes on the stairs, ignoring the scorching gazes on her.

" you can call me father child". Russell spoke and Mirabel cringed.

" well then." the king began after noticing his daughter wasn't there to entertain him..

ah, I bet you Laura was delighted on this arrangement... after all she made it when her husband suggested it for a reason. she wanted nothing more than to make that bitch's daughter's life a living hell.

" I called you here to give you my blessings. you shall be heading to the duke's, silver's household by sundown. ". the king continued and Mira dared to raise her head.

" Already?!. no marriage?! ". she asked, ignoring the gasps and sneers that accompanied her disrespectful behavior.

the king nodded . "yes.. and for the marriage part, your marriage document have been signed already so you should worry less ".

worry less my foot!. Mira made to talk again but her father raised his hand, signifying, end of discussion.

Mira frowned in disbelief and excused herself, to hell with courtesy, she was leaving this castle like a thief in the night today... no like a thief in the afternoon!.

but she underestimated her greedy and sly father who already had six bodyguards with stone cold faces waiting for her through the hallways.. and a silent and sweating mayim.

" damn that mane ". she cursed, not minding the guards who ignored her in return.

may gasped. " manners!, my lady!". she said rushing to the furious young woman.

" to hell with those!". Mira countered back before going back to her room.

immediately after though, she slumped on the bed and watched silently mulling over her life as mayim arranged her not so many things for a princess.

she was scared.

Mira sighed gulping anxiously and layed down on the bed to have a rest after discarding the problem she had on, called a heavy princess gown.

sundown arrived much faster than expected and Mira nearly cursed nature. .. and mayim on the other was excited and when Mira decided to ask her why, the girl replied.

" Because I would be coming with you, and you're now leaving this cage! ".

Mira pursed her lips... yeah.. did mayim know marriage was a lifetime imprisonment on her father's books.

she sighed anyway. at least someone she knew would be with her in the new and foreign environment.

an hour before sundown, Mira was already dressed in a cheongsam against her will, with a red veil and brought to the carriage that would lead her to her husband's home.

she was alone in the richly decorated carriage with no festive atmosphere..... there were no red flowers nor well-wishers... it felt as if she was having a normal carriage ride so, she just took the scissors on the first aid inside the carriage and began shredding the red veil given to her to pieces for flower effects.

That was the scene, the strange butler saw when he opened the carriage door to bring the young miss inside her new home.

he was shocked.

the butler, Sebastian was a dark haired man with dark purplish-black red eyes and tall figure.... he reeked of obey, behave and stay off yet his first impression of Mira was, stubborn.

" thank you." Mirabel said, taking the hand of the kind butler.

"where is your master?". she asked. because, who goes absent on his\her wedding day?.

Sebastian sighed. " he's not around, would be returning in seven days time ". he replied.

"ha... . on his wedding day. ". Mira said and walked past the butler, Sebastian who was intrigued, and then she slowed down when she remembered, she didn't know the way, with ears, neck and cheeks turning red from embarrassment.

she was cute too. Sebastian noted and walked forward when Mira said. " please lead the way...". with her eyes darting about.

." yes miss ". Sebastian replied and went in front of her.

firstly she would eat, bath, rest and then have a tour of the half a city big mansion.
