Chapter 134
"Testing is over," Haneda said coldly, forming hand seals quickly.
"Fire Release - Great Fire Annihilation!"
The enormous fire release devastated everything in its path. As Rasa watched with a puzzled look, a thick white mist rose from the ground.
Haneda actually burned away the water release he'd used to restrict the sand gold?
Truthfully, Rasa couldn't grasp Haneda's intentions and hesitated to make a move. Sand gold covered his entire body, and his vision relied completely on his Third Eye floating in mid-air—just like Gaara would use years later during the Chunin Exams.
However, the Third Eye's detection ability was limited, and it couldn't clearly see Haneda and Kakashi hidden below in the dense mist.
Then Haneda made his move.
Four shadow clones surrounded Rasa in a five-point formation. But from his position above the mist, Rasa was oblivious to Haneda's strategy, intent on stalling him and Kakashi here. As for the Konoha ninjas...
Three hundred against a hundred—the advantage was his. There was no chance of losing, not even with Tsunade present!
But then Rasa's confidence wavered. Within the mist, five distinct elemental techniques emerged!
Water Dragon Bullet Technique, Fire Dragon Bullet Technique, Earth Dragon Bullet Technique…
All five chakra natures formed simultaneously, launching straight at Rasa.
Sweating, Rasa stared at the scene, feeling as if the Third Hokage himself were here. He quickly considered retreating.
But then, a shadow clone used Wind Release to disperse the mist, revealing its form.
This was the Uchiha Haneda's Five Release - Great Multiple Bullet Technique!!
Boom!!
The five different elemental releases collided, creating a complex reaction and triggering an explosive chain reaction. Flames, mud, sand, and water scattered across the field in a gust of wind.
Standing on the sand gold, Rasa's protective armor cracked, revealing his face. He sank to one knee, coughing up blood.
Looking at the blood on his hand, he fell silent.
"Konoha truly is a cradle of genius," Rasa muttered. "But if that's all you have, your trouble has only just begun."
Rasa stood up, laughing, "That massive technique must have depleted your chakra. Now it's my turn to counterattack!"
He raised a hand, and sand gold rose from the ground, forming a colossal cube above Haneda.
"It's over, Uchiha Haneda!" he laughed. "You've shown me your strength, but you're finished now."
With Rasa's Magnet Release—Gold Sand Cube hovering in mid-air, the Sand Village ninjas watching cheered. The massive golden cube wasn't just falling to crush its target; if Haneda failed to dodge, he'd be crushed instantly. And if he blocked it, Rasa had another move: the dreaded Sand Gold Funeral from below.
Either way, Haneda was as good as dead.
Tsunade's eyes narrowed as she spotted the falling gold cube and made her way toward Haneda, releasing her stored chakra from her forehead seal. Summoning a new slug, she ordered, "Use your acid to block that sand! Quick!!"
At that moment, though, Haneda smirked. Under the astonished eyes of Rasa, Tsunade, and everyone else, he pointed to where Kakashi was hidden below.
And there, cloaked in the white mist, a massive beast of purple lightning took shape.
It was Kakashi's Purple Lightning! Hidden in the mist, he had been charging it up.
"Haneda!!" Kakashi called, looking into Haneda's eyes. The timing was perfect.
With lightning crackling in his right hand, Haneda manipulated the purple lightning to take the form of a massive Kirin.
"I may not have complete control over this power yet," he said, "but with my comrade, I am unstoppable!"
"Right!" Kakashi grinned as he looked at the purple Kirin. "Let's go, Kakashi!" Haneda urged.
"Got it!"
With Haneda's signal, Kakashi, wielding the Kirin-charged blade, sprinted along the falling sand gold cube and headed straight for Rasa.
Rasa tried to counter, but the purple Kirin obliterated the hovering cube in a flash. Forced to focus on defense, he wrapped himself entirely in sand gold layers, gambling that Haneda and Kakashi wouldn't be able to break through.
The first layer: Gold Sand Cube.
The second layer: Sand Gold Defense.
The third layer: Sand Gold Armor.
With three layers of defense, Rasa was confident he'd withstand the attack. However, he had forgotten one thing: electricity interferes with magnetism.
The sand gold cube had disintegrated under the Kirin's intense electric current, which meant the purple Kirin consumed minimal chakra.
Crash!!
The Kirin sliced through the remains of the sand gold cube, appearing before Rasa in a heartbeat.
Boom!
With a thunderous explosion, two figures fell from the sky: one tumbled down the sand, while the other plummeted helplessly to the ground.
Rasa had been defeated—overpowered by the combined efforts of Haneda and Kakashi.
"To think that I, Rasa, a contender for the Fourth Kazekage title, would fall to two eleven-year-olds…"
Rasa stared up at the bright moon, unable to believe it. This battle would mean the end of the Sand Village assault.
"You're not the first," Kakashi said, approaching Rasa. Turning to Haneda, he asked, "He's alive. Should we kill him?"
"Keep him alive. This may well be the last war between Konoha and the Sand Village; he's a valuable bargaining chip," Haneda replied.
He looked down at Rasa. "If you don't want to die, and if you want your troops to survive, don't try any pointless resistance," he said coldly. "Surely you understand that?"
Rasa stayed silent, finally realizing that this defeat marked the end of the Sand Village's conflict with Konoha.
Then, a familiar voice echoed in Haneda's ear.
"Uchiha Haneda, if you don't want your comrades to die here, follow me alone," came a voice from a figure cloaked in black, revealing only half his face. Behind him, a mechanical tail held three captives bound tightly: Obito, Asuma, and Kurenai.
