CHAPTER 44

Currently in a dimension;

A small house was standing on a grassy field. Nothing else could be seen around other than the grassy fields which stretched for hundreds if kilometers. The sky was blue but without any clouds. The most interesting thing was that there was no sun but the sky was still lightened up by some unknown means.

Inside the house;

In a large bedroom was a bed on which lay a man of late twenties. He had long black hair with bangs in the side of his face. He had a tear like mark on his face.

"Uhn" The man moaned as he slowly came to his senses as he slowly woke up. He looked around the place and saw the room was quite simple but elegant. Slowly he got out of his bed as he slowly walked towards the door . He opened it and came into what seemed like a living room. There were chairs, sofas and a table. In one of the sofas sitting was the mysterious man against whom he fought and lost. Currently the man was drinking tea.

Itachi quickly took a attacking stance and was was going to attack him but was stopped by the sudden voice of the man.

"So you have woken up, come sit here and have some tea" Sasuke said without turning to look at him. Itachi looked at the man with narrowed eyes as he slowly calmed down and went forward to to sit on one of the chairs that was face to face with the mysterious man.

"So what do you want? Why did you let me live even though it seemed like you wanted to kill me?" Itachi asked as he narrowed his eyes.

"I never wanted to kill.... you truth be told. It's just that I wanted to punish you a bit. But most importantly what I want to tell you is that.... S.A.S.U.K.E" Sasuke said as he looked at Itachi.

When Itachi heard this word his eyes widened and he quickly stood up.

"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT SASUKE ?! TELL ME THIS INSTANT!!!" Itachi said loudly in an agitated voice looking at the man with rage filled eyes.

Sasuke sighed as he looked directly in his brother's eyes.

"I am Sasuke Uchiha" Sasuke said as a silence fell down. Itachi was looking at Sasuke without even moving an inch. Sasuke too looked at him without saying anything for a few moments.

Then suddenly Itachi rushed at him and hugged Sasuke with full might. Sasuke didn't reject this as he too held his brother.

"S...Sasuke I...is this r.....really you?" Itachi asked in a sobbing tone. This time Itachi couldn't hold it anymore. He had been holding his pain and sorrows for many years now. But this time he had finally found his brother is alive and he could finally see him.

"H... how.....what h...happened ? Where were you?" Itachi said crying as he let go of his brother.

"Let's sit down brother. I will explain to you what happened during all these year but I also have a condition, and it is that you also have to be truthful about everything" Sasuke said as he looked at his brother seriously.

Itachi nodded his head. After that Sasuke explained to Itachi, everything that has happened to him during all these years. Meeting that terrifying woman, training under her, fighting creature of different world, becoming extremely powerful and many more things. Itachi was listening to all of this with wide eyes. He was having a hard time comprehending all these things which had happened to his brother during all these years.

"No wonder I wasn't able to do anything against you" Itachi said rubbing his chin. Sasuke just smirked at him.

"*Sigh* But the best thing is that you are alive and well, I have nothing else to ask for" Itachi said closing his eyes. Sasuke looked at his brother seriously and didn't say anything.

"Now it's your turn to tell the truth brother" He said stoically.

Listening to this Itachi tensed up and looked at Sasuke. He could see that his brother was in no mood to hear any bullshit. He knew that he couldn't hide the truth anymore. The thing was that he didn't want to hide it anymore. He sighed and explained everything to his brother. He said him about the uchiha clan's betrayal, the death of his best friend, Danzo's deal, the ignorance of the hokage, meeting the masked man Madara and all other things about the Uchiha clan's Massacre. Listening to this Sasuke's blood boiled as he clenched his fists tightly. Itachi looked at him but didn't say anything.

Sasuke calmed down and put his head down.

"Now what do you plan to do?" Itachi asked him.

" first of all I will fix you" Sasuke said as he got up from the sofa and went towards Itachi. He simply put his palm over Itachi's eyes. There were some sort of rays emitting from his palm. Itachi didn't move as he just kept his eyes closed.

Slowly the rays stopped emitting from the palm of Sasuke. Slowly he removed his palm from Itachi's eyes and said," Try activating your Mangekyo sharingan"

Itachi did what his brother said him to do. *Zwing* Slowly he activated his Mangekyo sharingan. But this time he felt something different. He felt power rushing inside his body. Even his eye sight had improved to unimaginable heights. He was really astonished.

"What did you do?!" He asked.

"I just improved your eyesights. Now you won't loose your light anymore. I even improved your your physique" Sasuke said .

"And now we will revive the Uchiha clan and move to a place where they can live their lives without any fear or strife" Sasuke informed him.

"C...can you really d...do it?" Itachi asked with quivering shoulders.

"Yes I can and you better be prepared to fall on your knees and ask for forgiveness from mom and dad" Sasuke said with a smile.

Itachi also smiled at him as a tear rolled down his cheek.

The meeting at the hokage summit had ended. They had came to a decision to search for the culprit responsible for the massacre of the village. They had also got intel on the event which had happened yesterday. They were able to uncover multiple bodies belonging to the akstsuki. The other kages had questioned Hiruzen about this as they had came to know that the now returned jinchuriki, Naruto Uzumaki was going to meet the akatsuki for some reason. They had tried to force the hokage but he didn't yield to them. He clearly said that he didn't knew why Naruto Uzumaki went to meet the akatsuki. But the other kages were relentless and didn't give up. There was quite a heated discussion which actually soured the relationship between Konoha and the other hidden villages.

Currently Hiruzen had returned back to konoha. He was sitting in his cabin thinking about everthing as he smoked his pipe.

Yesterday he had to face too much pressure. Even the relationship of konoha with other villages had also been soured due to all the commotions happening now.

Suddenly a knock came from the door.

" Come in" (Hiruzen)

The door opened as Tsunade and Jiraya came in. They had serious looks on their faces.

"What is it?" Hiruzen asked irritatedly.

"It seems that Naruto and his sister had declared war on this village. We got this info from the squad we sent with Naruto " Jiraya said.

"...." Hiruzen didn't say as kept smoking his pipe with a neutral face.

"Why don't you say anything old man" Tsunade said in a aggressive voice. Jiraya tried to hold her.

Hiruzen still didn't say anything as he kept smoking.

Tsunade had veins bulging on her forehead as she looked at the unexpressive old fart. Jiraya was holding Tsunade. He had sweats on his forehead.

Finally Hiruzen stopped smoking and stood up.

"From today onwards I resign from the post of the hokage" He said.
