Chapter 65 : Back to the Class

Walking through the academy corridor Kai walked with steady pace to the direction where his classroom is located, his step was echoing through the corridor because the academy was still quite empty.

It was his first day coming back to the academy after being discharged from the hospital and resting in his home.

Some of his friends that are close to him already visited him during the weekend after knowing he was brought to the hospital after being absent from the class, they are also already aware about his chakra that has already been opened.

Naruto, Choji, and Shikamaru also come to his home to pay him visit to asked about his condition especially naruto who really worries about his well being, after all he was like his brother since Naruto was a child even though now Naruto already have his own true friend in his class.

He knew that if he didn't deliver a letter to all of his close friends after that incident he was pretty sure they were going to pay him a visit even during weekdays knowing their characteristics.

After arriving in front of the class Kai came inside his classroom that was still empty devoid of any human present and went towards his desk where he started training his chakra control while waiting for his classmates to arrive.

He chooses to come a bit earlier to avoid any unnecessary commotion upon his arrival where he gets swarmed by his classmates who ask him about his well-being at the same time.

He maintains quite a good relationship with everyone in his class and fortunately everyone in his class does not have too many trouble makers.

After waiting for a while, finally one at a time his classmates arrived in the classroom and they came towards him the moment their eyes landed on him, even though he needed to answer their question about his condition over and over again but he was able to maintain the condition of his class remains conducive.

When the teacher finally came to the class who's already aware of his chakra that finally had been opened with early notice from his father, he was asked to learn the previous material to catch up with everyone in his class.

After his teacher handed him every material that he needed to practice, class finally started with everyone being asked to focus on the class.

Because the end of the semester was coming where they are required to put more effort in their study to prepare for the upcoming exam.

That also means his father is going to take a leave from taking a mission and focus on training him, which already became tradition whenever the exam was coming up.

The only difference was the addition of rock lee who already followed suit on their training since the last year previous exam after he introduced rock lee to his father.

They both really like father and son compared to him who has more resemblance to his mother if not for the fact he also has thick eyebrows.

He was also tempted to also invite Naruto but he knew that it was not going to suit the nature of the three of them who were training maniacs.

Remembering the amount of things that he needs to do who keep piling up make him quite overwhelmed especially he also wants to learned chakra during his training with his father solely because of novelty of it that make him have special sentiment on it.

After classes are finished he says goodbye to his friends and departs from the academy with rock lee to discuss with his father about upcoming training that they are going to do, preparing for the upcoming exam.

While walking toward the academy gate Kai looked towards Lee who looked really enthusiastic to visit his home.

"Lee, are you ready for this month's training for the upcoming exam?"

"Of course, I've been waiting for this since the start of the year."

"Then let's go for a run as a warm up."

After both of them arrive outside the gate they start running towards Lee house to let him put away the bag before continue onward to his home, he controls his speed to always 5 feet away in front of rock lee, the method that proves really effective to ignite competitive spirit within rock lee.

After running all the way to his home Kai invite lee to enter his home and asked to wait in the living room where he went upstairs to put away his bag before went back downstairs and invite lee towards backyard.

He told lee his intent who still want training his chakra control while waiting his father arrival, lee also decided to start kicking the dummy who still not destroyed even after excecive used.

When both of them already focus on their own they not realize that another person already present and observing their training.

They only realize when hearing someone clearing his throat after looking to the source of the sound they both stop his activities.

Kai walked to his father with lee follow suit, they both standing in front of his father waiting for his father started his instructions.

"Kai…, Lee…, for the upcoming exam you both going to train the series of taijutsu technique."

"You both going to choose the technique yourself and when you already decided what you wanted you can't choose another technique unless you already learned it."

"So the fastest you learned it the more technique you was able to get to you use in the upcoming exam competition."

Hearing his father instructions Kai was determined to learned all of it and maybe he was finally allowed to started learning eight gate release.

It was his chances to proved his father his determination to start learning the strongest taijutsu technique.

"DO YOU BOTH READY?"

"YES FATHER." / "YES GUY-SENSEI."
