Chapter 4 : Nine-tailed Attack!

À year time skip

Still in his sleep after a tired day playing with other kids, strong wind was hitting his face when he was in his sleep and the sound of continuous explosions made him wake up from his sleep. When he opened his eyes he was in embrace of his mother who had worried eyes.

Giant howling was heard from afar and his mother kept running and tried to get away as far as she could.

Looking at the destruction from afar he recognized what was currently happening.

'it's nine tails attack' he thought that was the first thing that crossed his mind.

He realizes firsthand how dangerous the world he now lives in.

Seeing his mother's worried eyes keep overlapping with his previous life mother that he seems never noticed.

He can't understand why he so stupid to never realize how deep his mother's love is to him.

Being carried by his mother who embraces him like most precious things in the world, he couldn't help it and his eyes keep getting wetter.

The guilt that feels across his body and soul makes him cry while hugging his current mother that keeps running away from the source of destruction.

After reaching the shelter with other civilians, She just realized that her son was crying.

Trying to calm her son in her embrace, she looks to the village from afar where giant fox-like creatures are rampaging and destroying everything.

Worries creep to her face about the well being of her husband, when the first explosion was heard his husband carried her and her son to close proximity to the shelter and her husband went back to the village to save others and help with the chaos.

She sees chaos everywhere where families search each other in panic, the civilians keep coming to the shelter to search for survivors of their family.

After some time the continuous explosion comes to halt and giant fox-like creatures finally disappear.

Still in embrace of his mother Kai looks around and sees sadness in the eyes of mothers who lost their child, Children who are searching for their parents.

He involuntarily tighten embrace to his mother in this dangerous world he must become strong, strong enough to protect his family and everything he loves.

He doesn't want to repeat his mistake in previous life where he only became nothing but a useless piece of human.
