Chapter 31 : First semester exam...

After coming out of the class, Kai meets up with two of his friends outside of the classroom that are already waiting for him.

"Huft…, I'm quite nervous at the last minute when the exam was almost over."

"Same."

"Thank you, Kai if no..."

Interrupting Kanna's speech, Kai asks questions and tries to change the topic of conversation so Kanna can stop talking.

"Do you wanna eat?"

"I'm quite hungry."

"Let's go eat something, I was hungry after so much thinking during the exam test."

Without waiting for their answer Kai dragged two of his friends outside who seemed not to realize that they were still in the vicinity of the classroom and their teacher might have heard their conversation.

He dragged them to the front of the academy building where the park was with an open field that had a tree on the side.

Sitting under the tree, Kai opened the lunchbox that his mother had prepared for him.

Seeing this, his two friends also opened their own lunch boxes that they also brought from their home.

"Remember, don't say it or someone might notice what we are doing after all our teacher was a chunin ninja."

"If not for the chaos that was at the end of the exam time our teacher might start getting suspicious and find our methods quickly before all of our exam subjects were done."

"Then we can't use it anymore."

Kai talked to them while eating his food, because Kai knew that using tapping sound and relaying it using Toka insects was quite a good method to send the message.

The only problem was if their teacher might have noticed him if he was too frequently playing with his pencil.

Honestly he doesn't really need to do this because for him most of the subject was really easy but he got the mission from the system that requires him to help his deskmates to enter the top 10 in ranking.

He preferred to teach them instead of doing these really risky things but the time that the mission was issued was really tight to do a learning session.

It might be his fault that only moved when the mission was issued, not on his initiative to help his friends to learn from a few months back.

He already noticed that when missions were issued by the system, it was when he was taking initiative to do something or it was going to be issued to him when the time was tight and the mission was becoming way harder because of it.

And he needs to get every RP that he possibly can because it is the only thing he can do to make it easier for his future self to survive and protect his loved one.

"Kai…, KAI…"

Back to the real world from his inner monologue he sees Kanna were a little bit downcast.

"Huh…, What's wrong?"

"Are you angry?"

"Of course not, you know me Kanna. I sometimes always space out while thinking about something."

"Like I thought."

Toka seems to expect that he is only thinking about something.

"Let's go eat before the next exam starts, we only have an hour."

Kai continued eating with his friends while talking about some light topics to pass time until the next exam started.

Without them noticing time passed quickly and it was almost time for the next exam to start.

"Let's go, it seems like it's almost time for the next exam to start."

Kai gets up from the ground and starts walking to the class followed by two of his friends.

They went back to enter their class and the exam started once again.

It seemed the teacher did not realize yet what they were doing and luckily everything went smoothly until the end.

Kai thought there were benefits of using unknown things to communicate with, people just not expecting it until the very end where they realize the oddity.

Moreover he only helps his friends when he thinks the question was hard for them and bekkō-sensei putting all of the hard questions in the back makes it easier to disguise what they are doing because all other kids are also moving their body because of confusion about the exam.

After another two more courses the exam finally finished until the very end without any hitch for them.

Kai goes home with relief feeling that everything has finally ended and the holiday is gonna come after the report card was given where he can play with his bird more exploring nature.
