Chapter 26 : Another Repeatable Mission

Today is the first weekend after he entered the academy, and this morning his father asked him to wait for him in the backyard of their home.

Standing in the backyard of his home, Kai isn't quite sure the reason why his father asked him to wait in the backyard.

It makes him slightly nervous but at the same time it also makes him really excited that the reason his father asked him to wait in the backyard is to begin teaching him taijutsu technique.

Because in 3 years of his training, his father never really taught him any taijutsu techniques and everytime he asked for it his father always said that his body was not ready yet.

So except for physical training and exercise that his father taught him so he can do it himself correctly, he does not know any fighting ability whatsoever.

After waiting for quite some time, he finally sees his father coming to the backyard with a training dummy in his hand.

Kai looks at his father who is setting up a training dummy in the ground. He is really excited that he is finally able to train to become a ninja.

Kai faced his father who's already standing in front of him with a serious expression after setting up the training dummy.

"Kai today is where your real training is gonna begin."

"You already proved your determination in these recent years and today your father is gonna teach you taijutsu."

"But remember to never misuse the knowledge that your father gives or you gonna make your father really disappointed."

"Yes father" With sincerity in his voice, Kai is determined to become responsible for his actions in the future.

"Good, Now attack your father only using your legs with all you got Kai."

Without wasting time Kai starts doing what his father says, reducing the weight in the bracelet that he uses in his legs to zero.

Kai sprint with full speed to his father,

By using his legs Kai tried to kick his father who was only standing still in the middle of the backyard.

Looking at his father who is still standing without moving an inch.

Kai tried to hit his father again with another kick.

Kai keeps trying to hit his father over and over again but always ends up missing, finally after 1 hour trying his father finally saying something.

"Kai you need to do it without hesitation, don't overthink it just do it, trust yourself and do it with confidence."

Following his father's instructions Kai let loose of his worry and only focused on hitting his father with his kick.

Kai keeps trying to kick his father over and over again, now the more kicks he does the fastest he becomes.

With the camel Endurance he can keep trying to kick his father without worrying about stamina while his eagle eyes try to keep track of his father's movement.

What he noticed was even though his father seemed not moving an inch, it was not entirely true.

It seemed that his father was not actually standing still because even before he starts his kicking his father is gonna move slightly, predicting where his kick is gonna end up.

Remembering his father's advice once more, Kai stops thinking all together and lets his body move on his own accord.

Finally after following his instinct more his kick was finally caught by his father.

"Hahaha…, Good job Kai, you really are a kid of your awesome father, Konoha's sublime green beast of prey."

Hearing praise from his father, Kai was glad that he somehow was able to land his kick to his father.

Even if his father was being easy to him, he was still happy about it.

"But don't lift your chin yet young Kai, you still have a long road in front of you."

"Look at that training dummy that your father especially bought, now you need to kick it 1000x daily."

*Ting

Hearing the bell sounds after his father speaks Kai knows that, there's gonna be another repeatable mission he needs to do.

"Yes father."

"Alright, your father is going back to duty, work hard Kai."

Watching his father leave Kai open his system to look for his new mission.
