'Amazing'

While Rei was feeling disappointed over the fact that he couldn't hit Minato the latter was amazed at the kids performance.

'While the proficient use of jutsu is amazing in itself what's really terrifying about this kid is his focus and calmness during the battle.'

According to Minato while the proficiency with jutsu usage can be honed steadily by anyone, battle focus was something which even the experienced shinobi might fail at times.

He knew this kid would become a great ninja whose name will be known by the whole shinobi world one day if he grew properly.

"Haha You did a great job Rei. Rest for a while and then we can start our training."

Minato laughed lightly as he stood beside Rei who was resting on the ground.

Rei nodded as he was too tired to move anyways.

"Your chakra control is already quite good Rei but chakra control isn't limited to using it to perform jutsu efficiently it can also be used for other purposes."

Saying so Minato walked to a tree stepped on it, he didn't fall and continued walking on it until he was hanging upside down on a branch.

"Once you enhance your feet with chakra, with proper control you can not only walk on trees even walking on water is possible, and if you enhance your body with chakra it is also possible to make it stronger."

He jumped down from the tree to show what he meant.

A dust cloud was created when Minato made an impactful landing he walked out from the dust and the dust slowly scattered with the wind.

Rei looked at the small crater that had been created where Minato landed and nodded his head understanding what Minato meant.

"Chakra control is something which is very important, the better you are at it the more efficient you will be while performing a jutsu as the chakra wastage is minimised. Since using chakra control to enhance the body seems amazing, why do you think most people don't use it Rei?"

Minato looked Rei in the eye as he waited for his answer.

"Well isn't it just a waste of chakra if you use it continuously. Also most people aren't that proficient at chakra control they would just waste even larger amounts of chakra and won't be able to fight for long."

Rei smiled as he replied.

"Correct since chakra and stamina are closely related you would die before you know it if you use it continuously and waste your chakra.

But if you have a large amount of chakra reserve or good chakra control it is something that can give you a huge advantage in battle, the jutsu I just used Body flicker is just an extension of body enhancement where i apply chakra to my feet to maximize my speed."

Rei nodded as Minato continued to teach him

"Hmm since you understand what i mean let's start your chakra enhancement training."

"Sure" Rei said as he walked up to the tree following Minato's gesture. Sunlight shone through the tree leaves as Rei looked up at the tree and breathed out clearing his mind.

He applied chakra to his feet and stepped on the tree

'Hmm'

Minato looked at him as Rei focused on controlling his chakra, to stick your feet to the tree you needed to apply the perfect amount of chakra to your feet, a little less or a little more and you would be unstable and fall to the ground.

He looked at Rei who opened his eyes after a few seconds and lifted his second feet off the ground and gently placed it on the tree.

Rei didn't fall he was almost as stable as he was when he walked on the ground.

He took another step then another and reached the branch where Minato once stood his feet getting more stable with each step.

Minato smiled as Rei continued to walk forward, now hanging upside down from the tree he looked back at Minato and smiled.

"Is this ok big bro Minato?"

"Haha"

Minato couldn't help but laugh as he looked at the kid's cheeky smile, he lifted his hand up and gave him a thumbs up.

The two continued to train until Rei exhausted his chakra, Minato also left after the training for the day was done.
