Rescue Mission 3

Both Kakashi and Rei looked in amazement as Minato flashed through the enemies reaping their lives one by one.

While Kakashi never knew that someone could be this strong, fast and cool while he killed enemies so easily.

Rei who had knowledge of teleportation and knew that Minato was using a jutsu that utilised the space time seals was amazed at how Minato was doing this so effortlessly.

Space jumps or teleportation were not an easy thing to master because of the disorientation they caused to the user, imagine teleporting in between the enemy lines and dying because of not being able to balance yourself, or your sight becoming blurry, probably one of the most shameful ways to die.

This was the reason why not just anyone could use these techniques.

He looked at Minato who teleported in and out of the battlefield effortlessly and nodded his head in approval.

'This guy, he deserved his title of a genius.'

Rei chuckled at the misery of the people who would face Minato as their enemy.

'He is going to be their worst nightmare.'

He laughed as he tried to imagine the face they would make after two such people emerged as their enemies.

The few enemies left chose to retreat in the face of this monster while their leader the strongest one bought time for them.

"Huh! they are coming this way?" Rei who was surprised by the two Iwa shinobi's decision smiled as he said something to Kakashi.

"Fuck! stop you idiot" The Iwa shinobi shouted as he ran after his friend.

'Almost there'

He had almost caught up with his scared friend when he suddenly jumped back.

*Shwack* *shwack*

Two shurikens passed by the place where he had been, lodging into the ground.

"Fucking rats." The Iwa shinobi shouted furiously as he tried to figure out the enemy's location.

*swoosh* *tak*

"Shit!" He dodged another shuriken failing to focus on finding the enemy's chakra signature.

He was already bad at detecting chakras and the continuous shuriken throws made it even more difficult for him to focus, not to mention he was scared shitless by what he had experienced just a while ago.

He was scared not of the rats throwing shurikens at him but the impending death that the yellow flash would give him if he was caught.

'Stupid fucker.' He cursed as he decided to retreat not wanting to waste his life for that stupid friend of his.

"If he dies it's his fault." He dodge another volley of shurikens thrown at him and decided to retreat.

But there was a problem, he couldn't move his body at all.

'What is this? What is happening?'

He tried to scream but his mouth wouldn't open either, he was scared.

Why? Just what had gone wrong for him to end up like this? Was it his decision to help his friend? He didn't know and he couldn't think anymore as his mind was already in shambles with fear and helplessness, knowing that only death awaited him.

Rei smiled as one of the enemies ran away but they had caught the other one.

It was with a sealing jutsu called 'body paralysis seal' which paralysed the whole body when it came in contact with the seal. He quickly made the seals in a few places on the ground as a trap when he saw the enemies retreat. But the seal was weak and could be broken by another party easily, so he decided to let one of the enemies go while they distracted and lured the other one to the trap's location.

"One got away." Kakashi looked at the running Iwa Shinobi from behind as he kept his shuriken and took out a kunai.

"Hmm, I will go after him. You remember what you have to do right." Rei spoke getting ready to go after the other enemy.

"Hmm, block his mouth so he cannot suicide, cut his fingers so he cannot use any jutsu, and bind his legs so cannot run." Blue lightning sparkled on his kunai as Kakashi spoke each word seriously with a straight face as he looked at the enemy.

"That's about right, hurry up the seal won't last for a long time."

Rei nodded as he ran after the other Iwa shinobi getting a nod from Kakashi in return who jumped towards the paralysed enemy with kunai covered in lightning.
