"Haha, what a kid"

Hiruzen laughed as he looked at Rei leaving the exam venue after receiving his ninja headband.

'A genius from Kurama clan, hmm.'

Danzo also fell deep in thought as looked at Rei leaving, he had came here after hearing about a kid trying to graduate after studying for only one month, and he was glad he did after looking at the kid's perfomance.

He wondered if and how this prodigy of a kid could be useful to Konoha and to his plans.

"Keep you thoughts about the kid in control Danzo, the kid is still too young." Hiruzen said as he looked at the thoughtful Danzo, he knew Danzo's antiques well enough by now knowing that he might aim for the kid Hiruzen thought it was best if stopped him now.

'Hmph butting his nose in my way again.'

"Hmph, dont teach me what to do Hiruzen, it's not like I don't know that you are planning to get him to join your little ANBU group."

Danzo snickered in annoyance as he looked at Hiruzen with side glance.

"I am not, and keep in mind that you aren't supposed to too, he is still too young for this."

Hiruzen said in strict tone as he looked at Danzo making it clear that he was serious this time.

"Hmph, Whatever."

Danzo said in annoyance as he walked away.

'Enjoy your seat while you still can Hiruzen cause it won't last very long.'

"Sigh!"

A sigh escaped Hiruzen's mouth as Danzo left the room, he looked outside the window towards the sky and spoke in a solemn voice towards empty air.

"Keep an eye on Danzo, make sure he doesn't try to approach the kid."

"As you wish Hokage sama."

*woosh*

Sound of someone leaving could be heard by Hiruzen, he closed his eyes as fell in deep thought.

Rei looked at the ninja headband and smiled as he walked out.

'Wait for me Minato.'

It was already evening by the time he finished the exam, since his request was so sudden he had to wait for quite a while. Kids were leaving the academy as well since the classes were over.

He swiped his black hair up and wore the band on his forehead.

"Hey Rei" Guy come running as he shouted his name.

"Woah! Y-you passed?" Guy was amazed as he looked at the ninja band on his head and stuttered as he spoke.

"Yeah I am a genin now." Rei spoke as he smiled.

The other kids also arrived behind Guy as they looked at the Rei's headband in amazement.

"Congrats Rei." Rin congratulated him as she smiled.

"Ha what's the big deal about it, I will also pass in no time." Obito said in jealousy as he saw Rin talk to Rei.

"Ha, you? I don't see that happening anytime soon." Kakashi mocked Obito up as he came forward

"Why you?" Kakashi ignored the raging Obito as kids laughed at Obito and congratulated Rei as well .

"Congrats Rei."

"Thanks Kakashi, I think you would be able to graduate pretty soon as well." Rei shook hands with Kakashi as he looked him in the eyes.

"Yeah that's exactly what I am going to do."

Kakashi also looked Rei in the eyes and nodded as he spoke in firm tone, but an unnoticeable smile formed on his lips beneath his mask.

"I am going to pass pretty soon as well and challenge you both to a fight, just you guys wait." Guy declared as he butted his head between the two.

"Yeah sure, I will wait."

'Or not'

Rei smiled as he patted Guy on the shoulder.

They talked and laughed with each other for a while as they all left the academy together.
