Fighting

"A ninja must see through deception."

Rei muttered as the class came to an end and Daikoku left the classroom.

It had been a month since the academy started and kids were taught how to do substitution jutsu and transformation jutsu along with how to spar and use the ninja tools. Since he had already learnt those jutsu Rei focused more on learning ninja tools and sparring and had already read the books given by the academy.

"Hey Rei lets have a good battle." Guy said in a loud voice waking Rei up from his thoughts.

"Huh?" Rei tilted his head in confusion towards Guy asking for explanation.

'Does he want to fight with me right now.'

"Yeah its the sparring class today, so lets do our best."

"Oh yeah sure all the best to you too Guy." Rei remembered that today was sparring class and smiled as he again thought who his opponent would be.

Rei and the other kids stood in the academy ground waiting for their teacher's instruction.

Some kids were excited to battle like Guy while some were afraid and nervous hoping their opponent wouldn't be tough.

"Hand to hand combat is must for a shinobi it also a traditional drill passed down from generation to generation so before you start fighting you must make the spar sign to show tou respect to the opponent."

The instructor put one of his hand forward with last two fingers curled as he instructed the kids. Also after you finish the fight you have to make a unison sign with your opponent. After he showed the kids what to do he took out his clipboard and started calling out the names of students.

"First match is between Obito Uchicha and Might Guy, come forward you two."

"Ah I wanted to fight Kakashi." Obito sighed as soon as he came came forward.

"I won't disappoint you Obito kun, let me show the fruits of my youthful training." Guy said loudly as both of them gave a spar sign and started running towards each other.

Obito punched towards Guy's face which Guy deflected with a hand and punched back with the other. Obito was off balance as his punch got deflected he tried to dodge the punch but it still scratched him, he rolled to the side to put some distance between them but Guy was right on his tail.

He kicked Obito with his knee as Obito stood up which the later blocked with both his hands. Obito wasn't bad with his taijutsu but Guy who trained hard everyday seemed stronger in comparison.

As Obito fell back after dodging, Guy followed him fast punching him squarely on the face.

As Obito fell down the instructor declared Guy as the winner making laugh and jump in happiness.

"I did it papa, my youthful training did not go to waste."

Guy uttered as he gave unison sign with Obito by shaking two fingers with him and made his way back to the crowd of kids.

After their fight kids continued to fight in the same fashion while some fights were a full brawn battle of kids hitting each other with no techniques involved.

The instructor sighed at their performance and named the next fighters.

"Next fight is Kakashi Hatake vs Rei Kurama."
