Purge! Part-3

{Mizukage's Office}

Obito had a small Kamui portal open in the room, he had been waiting here for about an hour, according to Yagura, it takes 3 hours for the messenger sharks to reach Iwagiri Island. So Fujii should be arriving here soon.

Fujii Uchiha, it was a name that Obito hated, but at the same time couldn't figure out, while he was on the list of his potential members for the new Akatsuki, somehow the Uchiha knew what the Gedo Mezo was and where to find it. And somehow being able to sense Zetsu made their plan even harder to execute.

It took another 10 minutes before Fujii Uchiha came into the building, while their plan was no good without the Gedo Mezo, Obito knew it wasn't time for him to rush, there was still some time before the Akatsuki was ready to move, and he knew the one weakness of Fujii through which he can get the Gedo Mezo back.

"Yagura? What's with the urgent call?" Fujii asked as soon as he saw Yagura sitting while dealing with some paperwork, Obito looked at the Fujii looking to see if he detected anything amiss.

"An organization named Akatsuki has been going around offering services..." Yagura started with the official story that Obito had implanted in him, "Two weeks ago I gave them an assignment that you refused."

Fujii frowned a bit, remembering what assignment Yaagura was talking about, he was a little busy with dealing with root at that time, "The Hōzuki Clan is now declared traitors to the village and I want you to lead a team to exterminate the can down to its last member..." Yagura threw a scroll towards Fujii who caught the scroll, although his eyes never left Yagura. Obito waited to see what Fujii would do. With barely a second passing his eyes morphed into the Mangekyo, so like his own, as he whispered, "Mangekyo Sharingan: Genjutsu Release..."

Whatever Fujii was expecting didn't happen as Yagura exploded with the power of Sanbi and a bright red tail of chakra flew through the figure of Fujii, if not for him having Kamui, Obito would have been a little worried for the Gedo Mezo.

Fujii vanished from the room and Obito walked out of his dimension and spoke, "...that's enough Yagura he's gone, the whole village just now sensed your outburst, get that team ready and get Kisame to lead the extermination, I'll talk to you soon..."

The next place Obito came out of was his new hidden base, riddled with seals so he had to walk for a bit before entering the cave, while other villages couldn't properly counter the Kamui because of their lack of knowledge regarding its working, Obito didn't lack that, by providing a genjutsu controlled seal master with the necessary knowledge and testing the seals himself, he was sure that Fujii would not be able to breach his new hideout.

A mismatched pair of Sharingan stared at him as soon as he entered the cave, one a fully matured one, and the other posing a striking resemblance to a shuriken. It did take a lot of time to convince him but seeing Fujii's reaction it was worth it otherwise the Mizukage would have easily been broken out of a normal Genjutsu.

"How did it go?" Shisui asked, if Fujii saw Shisui now he would be shocked, in the last 4 months since Obito had activated these seals, he had vanished from Fujii's vision, and only then had Obito started sketching out his plan to take the Gedo Mezo back. Since he knew that capturing him was next to impossible and genjutsu would be ineffective against him, the easiest way he could get the Gedo Mezo was an exchange, and the easiest way to get Fujii to exchange the Gedo Mezo was for something very precious to an Uchiha...

"Good, Konoha doesn't need to worry about the growing power of Kiri with the treat of Fujii along the way now, that relationship is severed completely..." Obito spoke as he walked deeper into the lab and towards his instruments, there were multiple test tubes containing white Zetsu's cells. He was debating whether to cure Shisui's eye or not but then he decided against it, Shisui's love for Konoha and his clan was obvious, and as he was not able to choose which side to pursue Obito gave him an option to save both him and his clan.

"Are you sure that Konoha would agree to the demands of the Uchiha?" Shisui asked.

"Of course! now that the root that supported Konoha isn't there, the mighty tree is vulnerable, one gust of wind could make it fall and Konoha couldn't deal with the hailstorm of Fujii Uchiha now on the run again. This time with no obvious destination... They need the Uchiha clan now..." Obito looked at Shisui before he used Kamui to open a portal to Shisui's house, "We don't want any suspicion to fall on you now would we, just stay calm and go about your normal duties, Konoha would yield to some of the demands of the Uchiha soon and the situation would soon stabilize..."

Shisui nodded and went through the portal, Obito stared at the now empty space for a bit before his thoughts went back to his plan, 'Fujii won't be able to safely reside with the Madea Clan, now to see if he would try to hide the Madea clan with him, maybe it would lead to another bargaining chip against him...'

{Mount Myōboku}

I knew something is amiss when I saw the red turtle tail flying at me, it didn't take me long to realize that Obito had used a more powerful genjutsu than a normal Mangekyo Sharingan: Genjutsu to control Yagura, so I had no choice but to use one of my escape plans, Mount Myōboku was exactly like I was it picturing in my head, everything was bright shades of green and yellow, there were toads everywhere along with the bright red toad the size of a three-story building staring at me, his hand already on his sword and a serious visage on his face.

"You won't happen to be Gamabunta would you?" I smiled and waved my hand...
