Purge! Part-1
{Iwagakure...}
On the central tower peaking from the monotonous skyline of Iwagakure, Onoki stared at the village that he had ruled for decades now, even if his body has been in a decile for years now, Onoki stubbornly held onto the seat of Tsuchikage. While many believe him to be a stubborn old man holding onto his prestige and ego, the Tsuchikage was a patient man looking for a shinobi strong enough to learn his technique or to hold onto the mantle of Tsuchikage.
He remembered the lesson his grandfather had taught to him long ago, the shinobi of Iwa contain a will of rock, so against the prodigies of Leaf, the sheer number of Kumo shinobi, the clans of Kiri, and the demons hidden in the slumbering desert of Suna, the Iron will and grit of Iwa stands like a wall protecting its civilians. He had hoped that Deidara would one day be strong enough to take this burden from him, but the latters desertion had once against dashed his hopes.
While his extended stay as the Tsuchikage got a new breath of life, he was more concerned with this new group that was getting to make a name for themselves. The Akatsuki, with their leader, shrouded in mystery, this group of S-Rank missing-nin boast to be able to complete any mission given to them. While he himself was getting a bit used to using their help on complicated missions, the amount of funds that this group is gathering was concerning.
He opened the scroll that he had received today, aside from the news of Deidara deserting the village, this was one piece of good news that he needed.
"Toki!" he shouted to his assistant, the seal that several seal masters have been working under the Daimyo's employment had finally borne success, the ghost of Fujii Uchiha that has haunted the higher-ups of all major villages will subside for a little bit, although according to this scroll it wasn't as effective as they thought.
'Sealing Arts: Void Unsealing'
A jounin level chakra reserve was needed to keep this seal active for one day just in his office, Iwa didn't have enough manpower to keep everywhere safe from infiltration, but at least their important documents were safe.
"Call Akatsuchi, I have a priority one task for him..."

Yagura Karatachi has been Mizukage for 6 months now, although the initial period was a bit rough through his hard work he had managed to unite all the islands in the Land of Water, and being a member of a founding clan helped solidify his case as he was now preparing to start diplomatic meetings with the Daimyo of Land of Noodles and Land of Honey while also preparing an expedition for the Land of Whirpool.
Through all the years Kiri is known for bad diplomatic relations, while Yagura had a long road ahead if he wanted to secure the future of the village, the expedition to the Land of Whirpool won't be much of a problem. Yagura remembered the day they met for the first time, while he at that time was a little naive, believing it was a coincidence that an S-Rank missing-nin from Konoha had just stumbled upon him during a mission. The Yagura that was now a Kage looked at it a little differently, he was the Jinchuriki of Isobu, an important strategic resource of Kiri. If not for the fact that he never really showed any malice towards anyone, not unless you are a Konoha Shinobi, and also the fact that he was stronger them Yagura, he would have tried to interrogate him for that little coincidence.
But still, the fact remains that he was one of the most powerful shinobi that makes his life easier, but even though his motives remain unknown, Yagura was okay with their working relationship.
"Tori," Yagura called, the young Kage was quite small and due to years of getting teased about his height now Yagura always presented himself as calm and collected, although he does have his moments when he shows his age.
"Here, send this to the Maeda clan..." Yagura spoke calmly giving a scroll to his secretary. While Tori bowed slightly and left the room, the young Kage stood up and looked through the window, the sun was going own over the mountains surrounding the village and it did present a beautiful view.
'I don't know what the Daimyo was thinking when he didn't participate in the alliance against Fujii, although it did benefit us but it also took our security blanket away.' Yagura thought as he sat back down on his desk, he had received intel that Iwa and Kumo both are aggressively using shields and veteran shinobi's to counteract Fujii's teleportation ability, although it is unknown if it holds up against an actual attempt from the man himself the rate at which these things are being implemented means that at least they believe so.
Yagura sensed someone enter his office as a familiar swirl appeared in front of his desk, he looked forward to telling Fujii his plan regarding the Uzu islands and maybe 'slip' him the intel that the hidden villages had found a way to counteract his ability, he sensed something was wrong before he looked at the Mangekyo Sharingan that was almost similar yet different from Fujii's.
"Mangekyo Sharingan: Genjutsu"
The triangular shape of the Sharingan eye kept spinning and spinning before it slowly consumed Yagura whole who slumped in his seat. Obito phased through the attacks of the two ANBUs that were standing guard and knocked them out with another genjutsu manipulating their memories.
The whole incident took less than 3 seconds and that left Obito with 3 slumped forms in the Mizukage's office. He wanted to snap the neck of the Mizukage as part of his revenge but he managed to hold himself and walked towards Yagura, he used a small lightning jutsu to wake the Kage up before using his Mangekyo Sharingan, and he began to replace some memories of Yagura and change his goals and personality.

{Konoha, Uchiha Lake}
Itachi Uchiha sat on a tree at the edge of the lake he always came here whenever he wanted to escape from his Clan and his duties to the village. He had done it, betrayed his clan and parents and his brother, all for the sake of preserving the peace...
"You're still the same kid at heart... Itachi-kun" Itachi jumped immediately as soon as he heard someone speak from above him, in one fluid motion he did a one-armed handstand while throwing 3 shurikens from the other at the intended target.
Itachi froze as he looked at the familiar eyes and the way his shuriken bounced at each other and simply phased through the three vital spots from his body.
