It had been a year since Azura struck a deal with A, the Raikage. Ever since that day, he had been relentlessly working to improve his strength through rigorous workouts that included push-ups, sit-ups, and various other exercises. However, something peculiar had recently caught his attention during his training sessions. While pushing himself to the limit, Azura discovered that he had the ability to expand his own shadow. Uncertain if this was a common occurrence or something unique to him, he decided to seek answers at the nearby library.

Azura delved into his research, hoping to find information about this newfound power. Among his discoveries, he learned that in addition to the five elemental natures, there were two chakra transformations known as Yin and Yang. The Yin transformation granted control over shadows, enabling the creation of objects seemingly out of thin air. However, Azura found no records of any jutsu associated with this Yin transformation. He soon realized that he was the only person in the village known to possess this ability. Disappointed by his lack of progress, he confided in A.

"Hohoho~ Interesting! You should explore this 'Yin' power on your own. Although I'm unfamiliar with Yin techniques, I can teach you lightning techniques whenever you desire~ Hohoho," chuckled A.

Azura's expectations for assistance from A were low, and as predicted, the Raikage's guidance was minimal. Undeterred, Azura resumed his training after completing his workout routine. With a determined mindset, he attempted to master the "Yin Transformation."

Poof!

A shadow clone materialized before him, standing motionless. Azura examined his own hand and positioned his fingers, lowering all of them except his middle finger and index finger. He concentrated, attempting to expand his shadow. However, progress was slow, and he could only extend it in a circular shape. Manipulating his own shadow proved mentally and physically draining, especially considering his limited experience with chakra, having started learning about it just a year prior. Nevertheless, Azura persevered, understanding that mastery would come with time and practice.

After concluding his training, Azura freshened up in the bathroom before deciding to take a well-deserved nap. Tomorrow was the day of his graduation exam, and he wanted to be fully prepared.

Azura arrived at the school and made his way to the classroom. As he entered, all eyes turned to him, but he paid no heed, confidently taking his seat at the front of the room and patiently awaiting the teacher's arrival.

The teacher began the class by announcing that the graduation exam would be held outside and would evaluate their chakra control. Those lacking a lightning nature would undergo an alternate examination. Excitement filled the room as everyone eagerly anticipated the challenge. Despite being six years younger than his classmates, Azura remained composed and unruffled.

With no questions from the students, the teacher led them outside to the training grounds. There, they were greeted by five training dummies. The teacher explained that their task was to strike the forehead of the dummy, marked with a black circle, using their lightning nature. Failing to hit the target would require repeating the exam. Each student was given two attempts.

The first student stepped forward and effortlessly destroyed the dummy with a burst of lightning, impressing everyone with their raw power. However, Azura keenly observed that the student lacked precise chakra control, leading to a feeling of disappointment. The second student replicated the same display of power, but it was clear that chakra control was not their focus.

"Next, Number 3," the teacher called out.

It was now Azura's turn. He extended his right hand, forming a finger-gun shape, and focused his chakra. "Finger Bolt," he whispered as an electric wave surged from his fingertips, striking the dummy's forehead and leaving a significant hole.

"Excellent! As expected from the son of the First Raikage. That's what true chakra control looks like. You pass!" the teacher exclaimed, leaving everyone in awe. Azura casually walked to the nearby table and picked up his headband. Turning to the teacher, he asked, "Can I go home?"

"yes, you can. But don't be late tomorrow," the teacher replied, referring to the assignment of new teams.

Azura left the scene, clutching his headband, contemplating where he would wear it. As he arrived home, he was greeted by a familiar voice, congratulating him on his performance. A remarked on Azura's unenthusiastic demeanor, teasing him.
