Chapter 42: Uchiha Madara I

........

Isaac, on the other, only saw darkness, all around. There was also only silence, and he felt no pain, thank god... The pain was too much for him... Where was he?

Isaac couldn't quite move though as he realized that his body felt very weak, or rather, it wasn't listening to him very well.

However, something as minute as opening his eyes wasn't too difficult... He was faced with darkness yet again, and he couldn't see much except his immediate vicinity.

That allowed him to see his body, specifically, something strange he felt... His left arm. Isaac wasn't supposed to have a left arm anymore, cut off by the Third Raikage.

There were plans to reattach the arm, but such arms were void after the scheme against him, yet here he was, with a brand new although strange arm.

The arm didn't quite match his skin color. Isaac is white, but the arm is a whole different version of white.

It was as white as snow, with no signs of blood running through it, and giving it that healthy glow.

Moreover, there was no longer any hole in his chest, nor were there any signs of poisoning still in him.

Isaac blinked a couple of times, trying to regain his composure, his vision becoming clearer by the second, "I am alive?"

Isaac lifted his head, looking into the darkness around him with ample confusion.

He traced his eyes around as if the dark was no obstacle to his eyes, a frown emerging on his face as he eyed the two strange creatures before him, two white entities.

"Tehehe, he woke up in less than three months! I won! Hehehe," One of the white entities celebrated in quite the silly way.

"Wrong!" The other white entity disagreed, "Sleepwalking! Yes! He's just sleepwalking, I didn't lose yet! It's alright, Isaac, now just close your eyes and go to slee... I mean, just close your eyes!!" He almost slipped.

"Hehehe, why don't you sing him a song? Maybe he will die by decapitation?" The other white entity suggested.

"Huh? Makes sense," The white entity took his words seriously, finding nothing wrong with them, "Ahem ahem, IIIIII Love Ass! But it's not as sweeet as meat! If only I haaad an orange, I would make you copper juice! I don't have many seasonings! But your flesh still tasted good!"

"Silence," That simple words caused the eternal chatterbox to seal his mouth shut, "They're quite the odd specimens. Don't mind them."

Isaac had a strange look in his eyes as he turned his attention from the white entities to the only other individual in the dark hall.

"Uchiha?" Isaac narrowed his eyes, eye to eye with similarly red eyes, the same three-tomoe rotating within them, "Uchiha Madara?"

"Oh?" Even Madara was surprised at Isaac's words, "You recognize me? That's a surprise."

"I studied the history of the world thoroughly... You are a vital part of it," Isaac frowned as he again eyed his chest, his intact chest, "Why am I here? Why save me?"

"Is that what makes you curious? Not how am I still alive?" Uchiha Madara seemed to have found Isaac to be quite interesting.

"No," Isaac's response was a straight answer.

"Hmm, we are very much alike indeed," Madara murmured under his breath, "I saved you because I believe in your aspiration. It's, after all, also my aspiration."

Isaac's lack of response didn't deter Madara one bit, "I want peace, eternal peace. I want a world without death and without suffering. I want a world without pain... That's why you are here."

Again, Isaac's lack of reaction didn't deter him, even when Isaac rested his head and closed his eyes, "However, I am old, so I need someone to walk the path in my stead until I come back."

Uchiha Madara couldn't help but let out a low smile upon noticing a change in Isaac's expression, "Can you imagine a world where your parents are alive and well? We can make that happen."

"..." Isaac opened his eyes, a frown emerging on his face, "Why are you trying so hard to convince me when I've already given up? Why give me a pointless hope? The world doesn't want to be fixed, my state is proof of that. I had dreams, realistic dreams that could improve and fix the world... You are speaking of an impossible illusion."

"Indeed, little Isaac, your state is the best proof... You are still alive. Even when the world tried to eliminate you, you still lived for you still have a far grander purpose before you," Madara's words were... It was akin to brainwashing, such sweet and encouraging words.

"The world I described to you... It's an illusion, but who said an illusion can not be real? You know it too, in your heart, the perfect world you want can only exist as an illusion," Madara continued with a smile.

"Illusion?" Isaac muttered absent-mindedly, his mind working fast in realization, "Right... The perfect world can only be an illusion?"

"Indeed," Uchiha Madara nodded, "Are you willing to hear my plan? What I call Eye Of The Moon Plan?"

"Do not give me false hope," Isaac warned, he was hooked. The brainwashing was working.

"Long long ago, there existed someone who was called the Sage Of Six Paths, a legendary godlike figure who can be regarded as the ancestor of shinobi, for his act of founding ninshū which led to the creation of the ninja world.

What makes him most special, however, is his ability to defeat a terrifying creature known as the Ten-Tails, the Tailed Beast incarnation of the God Tree.

The beast can be regarded as the progenitor of chakra and is tied to the tale of the Sage of Six Paths and the birth of shinobi for after the latter defeated it, he sealed it within himself, becoming the first jinchūriki

However, he would later split the Ten-Tailed Beast's chakra into nine different chakras. I think you know where I am going with this, right?" Madara questioned.

"They become the Nine Tailed Beasts we know them as today," Isaac nodded with a confused frown. There was too much information in Madara's words. It was difficult to take it all in.

"If we collect the nine tailed beasts into the Demonic Statue behind me; in order to reform the Ten-Tails, allowing us to cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, thus ending all conflicts while also erasing or rather destroying free will in the process!"

"Infinite Tsukuyomi?" Isaac questioned, seemingly still baffled.

"The Infinite Tsukuyomi, an extremely powerful genjutsu that traps the entire world in an illusion, giving them the world they desire, the perfect world for them... Tell me, is there better perfection than that?"

"There isn't," Isaac responded, trying to sit up with difficulty, to no avail. Most of his body wasn't listening to him. Fortunately, the white entity close by helped him sit up, "How do you know all of this?"

"The stone tablet," Madara's smile grew wider, knowing that Isaac was already convinced, "A monument which was created by the Sage of Six-Paths. You can find it, and see for yourself the truth of the world. It lies in a very familiar place to you, the Uchiha's Naka Shrine."

Madara knew he didn't need to convince Isaac any further, "Your new eyes will allow you to see the truth."

The eyes Madara speaks of were spiral purple-ish eyes, akin to a cosmic vortex, Mangekyo Sharingan.

It was fascinating to Madara, the eyes awakened by Isaac, the likes of which he had never seen before, showing the chaotic perfection of the stars.

Isaac is more special than he thought. His eyes need to be studied. However, for now, Madara was assured that Isaac was convinced, and that's why the latter awakened Mangekyo Sharingan.

All Madara had to do was cause Isaac to lose hope in life, then bring it all back and give him a purpose. The Kindest people are the easiest to break after all.
