Jinchuriki of the 10 Tails

Indra knew that Naruto was the reincarnation of Ashura's will, in addition to the fact that he possessed the kyubi, he knew that if he obtained the kyubi's chakra or Naruto's chakra, Naruto had the possibility of evolving his eyes to the rinnegan.

Since for that he had to obtain the chakra of the fruit of the 10 tails.

Also if he managed to get the chakra of all the tailed beasts he could become the jinchuriki of the 10 tails and be invincible in this world.

In the original work the Ten Tails called the Jūbi are beings used by the Ōtsutsuki clan to harvest chakra from planets, they are seedlings of the Tree Gods.

On each planet, the Ōtsutsuki plant a Ten-Tails which, after devouring a living Ōtsutsuki, grows into a God Tree, spreading its roots to every corner of it and absorbing the chakra of every life form present on the planet, until eventually consume it and produce a Chakra Fruit that is harvested.

Due to his immense power, in the Shinobi World the Ten Tails is considered the progenitor of all that exists.

A god who created countries, with the power to swallow oceans, divide the earth, and carry mountains.

They are beings that possess enormous amounts of chakra and apparently, as is the case with the Ten Tails of the Shinobi World, they cannot be felt by traditional means, since they give off the same sensation of the natural energy that circulates.

The Ten-Tails that Isshiki Ōtsutsuki keeps trapped in a dimension, although its origin is unknown, Isshiki tends to absorb its chakra.

While the Ten-Tails result from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's fusion with the God Tree, it is regarded in the Shinobi World as the source of all chakra, with massive and overwhelming reserves.

His immense level allows him to survive the death of his Jinchūriki, so Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki chose to divide his chakra into several parts, the nine Tailed Beasts.

It should be noted that, when all of the chakra was removed from the Ten-Tails, its body became an empty shell, which however still possesses immense life force and has the ability to seal Tailed Beasts within it.
