Land of waves final

[ 3 days later ]

" i am proud of you guys, since you guys managed to learn water walking in only 3 days, i will increase the jutsu level for you guys" Asuma smiled as he looked at his students, they are very talented, maybe not as much as Naruto or Sasuke, but just below that level.

"Shikamaru, come here and inject your chakra into this paper" Asuma took out a chakra paper and he put it into the hand of Shikamaru.

"what is this?" Shikamaru asked confused as he does not know what this means.

"this paper is able to tell your chakra nature, so if you have fire it will catch on fire, if you have earth it will crumble, water it will dampen and wind it will get cut, lightning will wrinkle it, the bigger the effect the stronger your nature" Asuma explained as he took out a chakra paper, he held it in his hands and he lit the paper in his chakra.

suddenly team 10 watched in amazement as the paper got cut into 5 different pieces, one became damp, one lit up in fire, one wrinkled and one crumbled, showing that Asuma got all the chakra natures.

"wow!, Asuma sensei has all natures!" Ino and Choji said in awe as they watched the paper dissapear into different elements, Shikamaru seeing this decided to start.

Shikamaru injected chakra into the paper and it lit on fire and then crumbled into earth, Shikamaru was pleased but also not concerned as he has shadow manipulation.

"good, it looks like the jutsu i wanted to give you is very suitable, this jtsu is, fire style: Dragon fire technique, it allows you to breath out fire like projectile on any cord or long object, i think you know what i am getting at" Asuma smiled as he handed the scroll he made last night to Shikamaru.

"thank you Asuma sensei" Shikamaru said with a smile, he did not think about using his shadow like that, but this is actually pretty genius way to use his ability.

"next Choji!" Asuma handed a paper to the eating Choji and he watched as Choji inserted Chakra into the paper, the chakra paper lit up in flames and crumbled into earth, showing dual affinities.

"good!, here learn this, this is the earth style: fist rock technique, uses with your clans jutsu" Choji thanked Asuma with a smile and he walked away to practice just like Shikamaru.

"ino here" Asuma gave the last chakra paper to Ino and he watched as the paper was dampened and crumbled, showing dual affinities of water and earth.

"good, here, go and learn this as a way to defend yourself, this jutsu is water severing wave, it is a c rank and it shots out a concentrated beam of water that flows at a high speed, though be careful as it can be easily dodged due to it's small cover" Asuma handed the scroll to Ino and he watched as she went to practise.

"man, i am thankfully i have shadow clones, or i would have never have learned all these techniques, and thanks to the ring on my head it made me learn faster too..." Asuma traced his forehead with his finger, he remembered how the blood seeped into his skin, might have to do with learning faster.

"now i just need to wait for them to learn these jutsu, and then we will be going home as the bridge is almost finished getting build" Asuma walked away and he started his training with Wukong, tho this time Wukong actually had to try as he was getting way too close to getting hit.

and like that time passed for the bridge to be finished.

[ 2 days later ]

"thank you for everything you have done Asuma - San and young heroes!" the whole bridge building team and Tazuna stood in front of Asuma and team 10, they were bowing and thanking them as the bridge is now officially finished.

"don't worry abou-"

"well if it isn't Tazuna~" Suddenly Asuma was cut off by a very annoying voice, Asuma looked towards the end of the bridge and he saw tens of people coming towards him with weapons in there hands, at the front was Zabuza and a shorter ninja with a mask, and a man in a suit.

"so this is the guy that almost killed you, you worthless trash!" the man turned to Zabuza and said with annoyance on his face, Zabuza scrunched his face and he was about to hit the man before he felt a threat.

Boooom!

a golden staff swiped from the right to the left, it pushed everybody into the water were they drowned or suffocated as there bones was broken from the force.

Swoosh!

Zabuza and the other masked ninja jumpedm down from the air and they looked at Asuma with a little fear, Zabuza looked at Asuma and he can feel that he was now stronger then him even without his staff.

"team 10, this is your first single mission, go and take out that masked ninja while i take out Zabuza!" Asuma said with a cold face, team 10 nodded with solemn looks on their face, they have never killed before so this is a new thing for them.

"Haku, kill them" Zabuza said in a calm tone, Haku who did not have his mental and moral struggle this time, attacked with full strength, he vanished from the spot at chunin speed and he appeared in front of team 10.

Asuma seeing this vanished and he appeared in front of Zabuza, he pulled his fist back and he punched.

Boom!

Zabuza was pushed back and he released a groan as his hands trembled, a huge wind wave was created causing the mist to disperse, Zabuza looked at his sword releasing smoke from the impact place.

"tch!"

[ team 10 ]

"team formation!" Shikamaru quickly took leader ship, and Ino jumped back, Choji jumped to the fron tand Shikamaru stood in the middle, Haku watched this emotionlessly, he was just a tool for Zabuza sama, so he did not care if he killed these 3.

"ice senbons!" Haku's hands blurred and in an instrant he created seals, Shikamaru frowned as he felt the temperature drop, he quickly ordered the next move.

"Choji, human boulder around me and Ino!" Choji nodded and he curled into a ball, his body then grew and he spun rappidly, just in time for the ice senbons to be blocked from hitting shikamaru and Ino.

Haku who saw this decided it's time to stop playing, but before he can take a step forward he felt himself get stuck in place, he looked at the smoke slowly fading and his eyes widened as he saw a shadow connecting to himself, but suddenly he panicked as he saw black fire spreading on the lines.

"Yin flames!" Shikamaru looked at the flames spreading with pride, this was the unexpected result when he mixed the fire jutsu with shadow manipulation, the black flames quickly shot along the shadow like a bullet and landed on haku.

but this was it as Shikamaru could now still not control Haku, Haku jumped back and he created hand seals, he threw a bunch of senbon only for choji to intervened, while that happened he quickly ripped his sleeve that was burning and he watched as the sleeve continued burning.

"water severing wave!" Suddenly Haku was shocked as a fast and thin water beam shot at him, he managed to twist his body just in time for the beam to only penetrate his shoulder, Haku gritted his teeth and he fell on the floor, before the shadow can touch him he vanished and ran around the place avoiding Shikamaru.

"ice mirrors!" Haku finished his seals and team 10 stiffened as they felt cold envelope them from all sides, they looked around and realised Haku had vanished.

"did he run?" Shikamaru thought.

Bang!

"ahhh!" Ino shouted in pain as she was hit on her cheek, she flew out into the ground creating a crack in the ground, but she quickly jumped away just in time for Haku to land an axe kick.

Boom!

the ground caved in and a small crater was formed, Ino quickly made 3 seals and her mouth puffed as she looked at Haku.

"water severing wave!" Ino shot a water beam again, but it was for not as Haku disappeared at literally the speed of light, the beam continued and hit a mirror piercing through it, Shikamaru saw this and he instantly got an idea.

"Ino, continue destroying the mirrors!" Ino nodded and she dragged the water beam to the side, it instantly cut any mirror in half, and she did this until she felt a threat.

"i can't have you doing that..." Haku said as she attemtep to hit Ino with an ice Knife, her knife was about to connect when a shadow jumped out of Ino's clothes, it quicklyjumped on him and he froze in place.

"choji!"

"expansion fist rock jutsu!" Choji grew his hand and then rock surrounded his fist, he jumped up and he punched Haku with all his strength.

Booom!

the ground trembled as a crater was made, Haku lay in it with Choji panting, his arm shrunk and Ino and Shikamaru looked at the damage created with shock, how strong was Choji physically?.

"is it finished?" Ino and shikamaru said as they walked next to Choji.

"O!" suddenly team 10 paniked as Haku answered their question, His hand opened and a last struggle was made, Ice quickly devoured Haku's body and 20 meters with it, team 10 was half frozen in the ice, and they were close to getting frost bites.

"c-choji!" Shikamaru said while snow and ice grew in a thin layer on his body, ice shards pierced his skin and ino was even worse, her leg was pierced with a big ice spike and frozen up to her chest.

Choji nodded and he expanded his body, instantly the ice that froze them cracked and then fell like water, they dropped to the ground and was on the verge of passing out.

"damn!, that was nice team work, but you guys let your guard down"

"wukong!" team 10 shouted with Joy, Wukong smirked and he walked up to team 10, his hand glowed and in seconds they were healed, but not Haku.

"no way..." team 10 looked at Haku's shattered Body, they were shocked,why did he do this, to protect a rogue ninja?

"he did this to protect what he considers important to him" Wukkong said from the side, his eyes filled with respect as he looked at Haku.

team 10 nodded and then they thought about konoha and there families and clan, as well as there sensei.

"important huh?"
