Land of waves 3

"where is Asuma sensei?" Ino aske din confusion as she looked around in hopes of seeing him, it was already 10 past 9 in the morning but he is still not seen, Shikamaru also wondered this while choji just went on to eat his potato chips.

"sorry sorry, i was just lost on the way of life!" Asuma suddenly appeared in front of Tazuna and the team, he had dark circles under his eyes and he had bruises on his face, his hair was a bit rough and he looked tired.

"huh?, Asuma sensei what happened to you!" Ino looked at Asuma in worry, if she knew what Asuma looked like before getting healed by a medical ninja, she would have been shocked at what he looked like.

"don't worry about this, now let's start getting to our mission" Asuma shrugged his shoulder, he started walking towards the exit of the village and Tazuna and team 10 followed him, along the way Asuma made sure that he was alert as his students life was on the line.

[ 3 hours later ]

"damn it's soo hot!" Ino whined as she wiped the sweat from her forehead, Asume who was listening to this suddenly sensed 2 chakra signatures, it was about the level of 2 chunins and it was not a threat to him.

"huh?, a puddle in this type of weather?" Shikamaru who was paying attention to the surroundings instantly noticed the water puddles, he became alert and he alerted Ino and choji, this is not team 7 after all.

Swooosh!

suddenly team 10 was shocked as chains flew and surrounded Asuma, the 2 chunins that popped out pulled the chains and it ripped Asuma into pieces.

"nooo!" Ino was shocked and her body started shaking, Choji dropped his chips and he stared angrily and a little scared at the 2 assassins, Shikamaru was calm as he knew this could never kill someone like Asuma.

"Tazuna, die!" the 2 assassin charged at Tazuna but before they could notice a small stripe of shadow connected to theirs, and they stopped moving.

"what?" the 2 assassins was shocked and they looked at the boy in front of them, they tried to move and shikamaru started sweating as he could barely hold them in place.

"quickly before i can't hold them!" Choji and Ino who was scared heared the shout of Shikamaru and came back to their senses, they looked at the 2 ninjas and they charged at them, chojis arm became huge while ino took out a kunai.

they were only a few meters away from them before Shikamaru could not take it anymore.

"stop!" Shikamaru shouted as his shadow binding was destroyed, the 2 assassins quickly started running towards choji and Ino at a speed they could not follow and they were about to land a killing blow on them.

Bang!

"now what do you intend to do to my lovely students?" Asuma smiled as he took a puff of his cigarette, the 2 assassins was held between his arms and there neck was tightly clamped down preventing them from being able to breath air in.

the 2 assassins soon died as there air supply was cut of, and they looked at Asuma with hatred before they died, Shikamaru, ino and choji looked at this in shock, they never killed before so they were quite shocked as they looked at Asuma killing those 2 without mercy.

"number one lesson, never hesitate, if ino and choji did not hesitate you guys would have been able to kill these 2 by yourselves" Asuma planted his palm on the ground and a small pit appeared, he throw the bodies in there and then he throw dirt on it.

Ino and Choji looked down with shame as they knew what Asuma said is true, they just stood there like scared chickens in headlights while Shikamaru did everything by himself.

"sorry Asuma sensei..." Choji and Ino said while looking down, Asuma smiled before he became serious.

"now Tazuna, tell me why there is 2 assassins looking for you since there target was you?" Asuma looked at Tazuna with a cold look, Tazuna trembled as he saw the look in his eyes, but he became determined as he knew this is his only chance.

"this mission has progressed from a c to a b level, and i know you probably have a reason, but i will not put my students in danger" Asuma said as he looked at Tazuna.

"i know it is bad that i lied, but please!, if you don't help me the land of waves is going to be destroyed, i am the only one that can build a bridge!" Tazuna looked at Asuma with a pleading face only to be met with cold eyes, but Ino, choji gained a sad look while Shikamaru looked to the side.

"Asuma sensei... please continue the mission" Ino said quietly, choji nodded while shikamaru just said troublesome, Asuma smiled and Tazuna looked at this in shock.

"okay since it's my lovely students who want to continue the mission, i can't say no!" Asuma smiled and he laughed as he looked at the embarrassed face of his students.

"thank you!" Tazuna bowed as he looked at team 10, he can not show how much gratitude he has right now.

"don't worry about it, now let's go!" Asuma smiled and he started walking again towards the land of waves, Tazuna and team 10 followed behind him in a diamond formation.

Tazuna in the middle while Asuma was in front, choji on the side and shikamaru on the side, Ino was at the back.

[ 2.5 hours later ]

"everybody get down!" Asuma shouted as he noticed an object flying at them at a fast speed, everybody instantly jumped to the floor and they looked on in shock as a huge sword flew above them until it hit a tree.

Bang!

the sword almost sliced through the tree but it stopped and team 10 looked on in shock as a figure appeared on the sword handle, it was a man with it's lower face covered in bandages and he had drip.

"Zabuza Momochi!"Asuma said, team 10 tried to get closer to Asuma but he held his hand out and he made a signal, team 10 understood and they made a triangle formation aorund Tazuna.

"well if it isn't the son of the hokage, you will fetch a nice bounty for me" Zabuza said with disdain in his tone, he does not think someone like Asuma who made a name for himself by protecting the fire lord can be strong.

"well you can come and try it if you can~" Asuma smirked as a golden staff just a bit smaller then his height suddenly appeared in his hand, Zabuza looked at this in interest, it is said that Asuma uses knives as weapons, not staff.

Swoosh!

Zabuza took his sword and he flashed towards an open plain, he then made a hand sign and water vapor and steam started covering him and the surrounding forest.

"hidden mist Jutsu!" Zabuza was covered with mist and his figure and chakra was clouded by the chakra made mist, Asuma did not panic as he felt the chakra of Zabuza still, it was thanks to what Wukong did to his head with the blood.

Asumo looked behind and he saw a clone trying to attack team 10, he instantly dissapeard and appeared above the clone.

Boom!

a small crater was made as the staff was smashed into the head of the clone shattering it into water that dropped on the ground, but it was not enough as another zabuza appeared behind Asuma.

"grow Ruyi Bang!" suddenly the golden staff was pointed behind Asuma and it grow in length at lightning speed, it instantly pierced the water clone along with any tree in it's way.

BOOM!

the forest trembled as the growing staff returned to it's original size, Zabuza who was hiding looked at this with shock, he did not have any information about this!.

"got you!" Asuma was attacked by a water clone from the side, but Asuma just wiped the staff towards the clone causing the clone to burst apart into water.

"are you finished with hiding?" Asuma said as he looked towards the hiding zabuza, Zabuza who was hiding under water slowly came up and he looked at Asuma.

"sorry, it looks like you deserve my respect after all, allow me to introduce my self again, i am Zabuza Momochi" Zabuza said genuinely as he looked at Asuma, meanwhile the students who was not able to see anything looked at this in confusion.

all this happened in a quarter of a second, no it happened even faster then that, so team 10 and Tazuna could barely see anything except a flash and then a loud bang.

"i don't need the respect of a rogue nin like you" Asuma said as he pointed his staff at Zabuza, Zabuza instantly put his sword in front of him and he grunted as he felt his hand tremble.

Booom!

the forest trembled as Zabuza was pushed into trees which broke upon impact, Ruyi bang pushed against his sword with unstoppable force and it stopped when it could no longer grow.

Bang!

Zabuza fell on the ground creating a small crater, he layed there for a few seconds as blood flowed out of his mouth, his organs were injured from the shockwave of the attack, and his sword was almost broken as a dent was made in it with cracks forming around it.

"what weapon is that?..." Zabuza said while standing up in difficulty, his eyes were wide as he looked at Asuma.

"this is Ruyi Jingu Bnag, it can grow in size or thickness, and it's limit is based on my chakra" Asuma said, Zabuza looked at the staff in shock, this weapon was probably the strongest in the world right?

and he was not wrong as even if the staff breaks it can be remade from sucking the chakra of it's user, and it's limit is based on the chakra of Asuma, so it has no limit.

"hmmm..." Zabuza looked at Asuma and he started doing Hand signs, almost instantly he completed 44 seals and in front of him a huge water dragon formed, the water dragon roared and it looked at Asuma.

"water dragon jutsu!"

the dragon flew towards Asuma, but it was met with the end of the staff, the staff went through the dragon and the water dragon burst into water as it fell, Zabuza watched this in shock and befor ehe could react the staff hit him in the head.

Bang!

Zabuza was smashed into a tree his eyes went wide and he was knocked out, Asuma walked to his body, and he was about to kill him when needles flow into the neck of Zabuza.

Swoosh!

"thank you for dealing with him, we were looking for him for a long time" a ninja appeared next to Zabuza and he picked the body up, Asuma looked at this with a shrug, he will not get involved in this so he shrugged, the ninja nodded and he jumped away.

"alright guys, we can continue on our way!"
