I leisurely travelled the grass village, while sipping on some orange juice.

Using Snake sage gave so many benefits. And one of them was great stealth, a perfect ability for me. I have located the largest chakra signature in the village, and there were only one another signature that felt similar, but was fading.

So the first one must be Karin, and the second one must be her mother. I have already sent my snakes to the locations, and it was confirmed that Karin was in a small house…hut. And her mother was on her last breaths in the hospital.

The show didn't really showed the full might of pure blooded Uzumakis. Karin wasn't trained properly and was only a support character, while Kushina was always suppressing Nine tails, and then when she chained him, she was already dying after giving birth and getting it pulled out from her.

I waited as her mother's chakra flickered, and finally, got extinguished completely. People then moved in Karin's direction, and it was time to make a move.

I slithered in her direction, and reached just in time as the ninjas were dragging her away.

Swiftly, I took her from their arms, and patted her crying self.

"Dear, no need to cry anymore. Gentlemen, may I know what are you doing to this kid?"

"Hey lady, mind your own business-"

And I knocked them all with a genjutsu. They have some value by being used for Edo Tensei.

"What's your name, dear?"

"K-Karin!

"No need to feel scared. Say, do you want to come with me?"

I showed shock on my face.

I walked into the hospital with her in my arms, putting everyone in genjutsu as I moved. Then I headed to the room where Karin's mother was.

Karin ran from my arms and started crying.

Well, her mother would have been more valuable if I came even some months before. But it's not like she will be much useful in fighting or medical ninjutsu. Plus, she may even come in my way to mold Karin as I wish.

"I am sorry for your loss, kid. But other ninjas are arriving. You have to make a choice, either follow me to get power, or end up as your mother."

"I-I will go! Anything is better than here!"

I lifted her up in my arms, and she was making my clothes dirty with tears and snot. Sigh, I will have to wash them.

I summoned a snake, and it swallowed her mother's corpse.

She shaked her head.

"Alright, go to sleep now."

I put her into genjutsu, so that she doesn't know the way to my base.
