chapter 8

WuTang absentmindedly tapped away on his mobile, scrolling through his social media feed, when a notification suddenly caught his eye. It was an invitation, seemingly carelessly accepted without much thought. The name on the invitation read: "World Manager." Intrigued, WuTang couldn't resist opening it to see what it was all about.

As he read the contents of the invitation, his curiosity grew. The World Manager had promised a unique opportunity to venture into another world. WuTang couldn't help but wonder it would be good if it's a true.

before he could read more, WuTang found himself in room filled with floating monitors, each displaying a different world. But the most unsettling sight was being with a body resembling a white caterpillar, Human hands extended from its ethereal body, moving deftly across the controls of the monitors.

"Welcome, WuTang," the World Manager greeted him, its voice a strange blend of echoes and whispers. "I am pleased to see someone accepting my invitation."

WuTang couldn't help by the sheer strangeness of the World Manager's appearance. His initial carelessness in accepting the invitation was now replaced by a sense of curiosity. He took a moment to gather his thoughts before speaking.

"What is the purpose of this invitation?" WuTang asked, his voice tinged with both wonder and uncertainty.

The World Manager paused, as if considering the weight of its response. "You are the 301st person to venture into another world through my guidance. Normally, I would have sent you to an easier world, but there's a complication.

Thoughts raced through WuTang's mind, questions bubbling to the surface. But before he could voice them, the World Manager interrupted abruptly.

"Stay silent! I don't want my joy to fade," the World Manager interjected hastily. "I'd rather you not refuse or bombard me with questions."

WuTang, although taken aback, listened intently, realizing the gravity of the situation. The World Manager went on to explain the challenges it had faced—multiple individuals sent to conquer different worlds, only for those worlds to inexplicably explode. The fantasy worlds had become rebellious, resisting the World Manager's control and growing increasingly unpredictable.

"There's something amiss with these fantasy worlds," the World Manager confessed, its voice tinged with concern. "I can no longer see what transpires within. A sense of impending doom hangs over them, but I know not what..."

Doubts began to cloud WuTang's mind as he scrutinized the World Manager's bizarre appearance. How reliable was this entity? How could it not know what was happening in the worlds it managed?.

Observing WuTang's expression, the World Manager continued speaking, breaking the momentary silence.

"As someone who accepted my invitation, I hope you can assist me. I offer you compensation," the World Manager said, producing an array of weapons, their gleam reflecting off the monitors.

WuTang's curiosity burned within him, and he couldn't resist asking further questions. "Do you have magical weapons or something suited to a fantasy world?.

The World Manager chuckled softly. "Have you not read novels where main characters wield modern weapons in other worlds?" it replied. "While I can't provide large weapons, small ones should suffice."

Curiosity still ablaze, WuTang sought clarification about the specific world he was being sent to. "And what type of world awaits me? What can I expect?"

The World Manager answered concisely, "Naruto."

"Naruto? Will these weapons work in a world where people are faster than bullets? WuTang voiced his concerns, seizing the opportunity to express his doubts.

After a brief pause, the World Manager offered a solution. "I can try to ensure you are born into any family you desire, increasing your chances of survival," it proposed.

Before proceeding, WuTang sought one last piece of crucial information. "And what is the timeline of this world? When will I be transported?"

"It's before the first Ninja War," the World Manager clarified.

Satisfied with the response, WuTang conveyed his final request. "Alright, just make sure I am not born into the Hyuga clan's branch house.

"Understood. I wish you a happy journey, WuTang," the World Manager concluded, bidding.
