A young boy with gray hair quietly arrived on one of Konoha's busy streets. The boy, with his striking gray attire and hair, was handsome yet unsettling.

His eyes were tightly shut, giving the impression that he was blind.

This boy is Toneri Ōtsutsuki, who had just descended to the ninja world from the moon.

Toneri, a direct descendant of the Ōtsutsuki clan and the son of Hamura Ōtsutsuki, had come to the ninja world for one purpose: to find the purest Byakugan, merge it with the divine power of the Ōtsutsuki, and thereby awaken the Tenseigan—an evolution beyond the Byakugan.

As Toneri walked through the streets of Konoha, his destination was clear: the Hyuga clan. His senses told him that within their compound lay the powerful eyes he sought.

When he arrived at the entrance of the Hyuga clan's mansion, Toneri paused momentarily before knocking on the door.

A member of the Hyuga clan answered, looking at the strange boy in front of him with suspicion. "Who are you, and what do you want here?"

Toneri, in a soft yet unnerving tone, replied, "Can you give me your eyes?"

The Hyuga member was taken aback, utterly confused. "What?! Are you out of your mind?"

Bam!

Without hesitation, the Hyuga clan member slammed the door shut, leaving Toneri standing alone outside.

Just then, Hiashi Hyuga, the head of the Hyuga clan, happened to pass by and noticed the boy at the door. He approached with caution, sensing something was off.

However, as Hiashi got closer, he suddenly stopped, a cold sweat forming on his brow.

The young man before him radiated a terrifying power, one that made even Hiashi's instincts scream with fear.

Before Hiashi could react, Toneri whispered, "I'm sorry."

In an instant, Hiashi's body went rigid—paralyzed.

He could only watch in horror as Toneri approached and, with chilling precision, gouged out both of Hiashi's eyes, leaving his eye sockets bloody and empty.

Hiashi, being a member of the main family, did not have the Caged Bird Curse Seal that would destroy his Byakugan upon death. This made him the perfect target for Toneri.

As Toneri held Hiashi's eyes, they began to change form, glowing with a pale blue light—the sign of the Tenseigan's awakening.

Toneri looked at the blinded Hiashi and, with a mix of regret and resolve, said, "Forgive me, but I needed your eyes."

Hiashi, in his mind, cursed Toneri and his entire lineage, but he didn't dare utter a word. He knew he stood no chance against this powerful boy.

At that moment, Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage, who happened to be passing by, witnessed the gruesome scene.

Outraged, he thought, 'Someone dares to attack a Konoha villager in broad daylight? As the Second Hokage, I must put an end to this!'

"Flying Thunder God Slash!"

In a flash, Tobirama formed hand seals, and a shadow clone wielding a sword materialized, rushing towards Toneri with lethal intent.

The blade itself was forged from pure chakra, glowing with deadly energy.

Toneri frowned, barely acknowledging the threat as he effortlessly waved his hand, dispelling Tobirama's clone in an instant.

Tobirama's eyes narrowed as he realized this boy was no ordinary opponent.

The boy's appearance—gray hair, strange eyes—triggered something in his memory. 'Could he be... an Ōtsutsuki?'

"Who are you?" Tobirama demanded. "Why are you in Konoha, and why did you attack him?"

Toneri responded calmly, "My name is Toneri Ōtsutsuki. I didn't want to harm him, but I needed a pair of eyes."

Hiashi, still writhing in agony, cursed in his mind: 'Needed a pair of eyes? And for that, you had to take mine?!'
