I am unhappy with how the last chapter turned out. Mainly because I don't want to re-use the bell test and I didn't come up with a decent alternative while I was writing it. As such I want to ask you, my readers, about ideas for an alternate genin survival test.

The criteria the test needs to fulfil are as follows:

1.Teamwork needs to be discouraged in order to test it

2. Individual combat potential needs to be determined

3. Teamwork, while discouraged, must be essential for success.

On a different note, how do you like the chapter length? I can do smaller chapters more often or keep it as is and update about once a week.

This week I will rewrite the previous chapter using some of your suggestions and maybe I will even manage to squeeze in a new one as well.

Anyways sorry for the long break and I promise to keep writing until the story is finished (though I won't be keeping a consistent update schedule).

Last but not least a special shoutout to "Cadmus_black" and "Shen_68" for getting me back into the mood to write again. Thanks for your support and encouragement.

Update:

I have decided not to rewrite the previous chapter but instead just edit it slightly. If you already read it previously you are welcome to reread it though it will not be necessary to follow the story as the changes are pretty minor.

Also I am working on the next chapter and it will be done later today or tomorrow.
