Nano Machine: The 8th Young Master

What if a morally unhinged ex- gangster gets reincarnated into Nano Machine? Well this is the story that would answer that question. God chose him for his entertainment giving him the opportunity to live inside his favorite Manwha but there is a catch. He must not kill the main character and he must not steal Nano Machine.

Chapter 22: Library Floors 1 and 2

Morning arrived, and sunlight shone down on the Group 9 Quarters. In the private room of the Group Leader, a beautiful red-haired woman lay on the soft bed with her naked body covered with a blanket.

Her eyes opened only to see a certain young man having breakfast at the table. The young man looked at her and said, "Get up, sleepyhead. It's your breakfast." However, the girl was reluctant to move, whether it was because she was naked or traumatized from what transpired the previous night.

"There are some clothes I stole from one of the girls. They should fit you," he pointed at the folded clothes next to her bed. Reluctantly, the red-haired girl put on the clothes and walked in front of him.

The young man pushed a chair for her to sit, and she took a seat. She looked at him with fear and some self-shame and asked, "The poison?"

"It's gone. You upheld your part of the deal, so I have to do mine," the latter said as he took a bite of the meat cooked beautifully for him.

"Eat," he commanded the girl, and she helplessly complied. After they finished breakfast, the young man grabbed her shoulder and looked her in the eyes.

"This should be enough compensation," then he pushed some of his internal energy and filled her core with it, making the half-empty energy core return to full brim.

Confused by his sudden action, she asked in bewilderment, "Why? Why are you doing this to me?"

"Nothing. Just 'cause," he said and stood up from his seat.

"You should go back to your group mates. They're probably waiting for you all night. Say your goodbyes to them before you return to the Sound Clan."

Since Cheon Won Ryuh failed the second test, there is no doubt that she will have to return to the Sound Clan. It's very shameful since all her life she had been training in martial arts, preparing for the academy, yet she failed the second test, and what's more, her brother humiliated her to the highest extent.

As he stood up and was about to leave, he left her with some words, "Whether you report what happened here to the Sound Clan or not, the choice is yours. I'm not afraid of the Sound Clan or any of the Six Clans. Bring them here, and I'll face them head-on," he said before leaving her alone adrift in her own thoughts.

Cheon Mujin was in a good mood. Unfortunately, he would only have Cheon Won Ryuh for one night since she's going back to the Sound Clan.

"Enough of playing," he had played enough. Now it's time to achieve his real goal.

Cheon Mujin strolled around the academy and ended up in the Demonic Library.

Aside from the Black Dragon Medicine Ball, the other privilege of passing the test in the academy is access to the secret Martial Arts manuals, which can be deemed one of the most important privileges for martial artists. Many manuals were stored within the academy, including books from the Six Clans' martial arts.

The library was shaped like a tower, and each higher floor had less space. There were no windows, and the only entrance was from the first floor. The library had five floors, and the higher the floor, the stronger the level of Martial Arts manuals. Cadets would be given access to a higher floor once they passed the six stages of the aptitude test.

The first floor only had a 2-hour (1-hour in the novel) duration allotted for students to find the martial arts manual they wanted to memorize.

Cheon Mujin walked inside and registered his name. Without even glancing at the martial arts manuals, he headed straight to the center of the library where a sapphire pillar stood with hundreds of sword marks.

There was a guard guarding the sapphire pillar, and upon noticing Cheon Mujin's presence, since he wasn't hiding it, he said, "This is the gravestone left behind by the Founding Father Cheon Man." Cheon Mujin looked at the man and asked, "The writing, it's carved only by finger, isn't it?"

"That's right, isn't it amazing? The Founding Father focused his internal energy into his finger and carved the sapphire with it. The sapphire is so hard that even a sword or a huge amount of internal energy can hardly put a scratch on it." The guard said with admiration as he looked at the poem left behind by the ancestor with awe and reverence.

"It's sad that people who come here just walk past this monumental piece. I mean, who would, right? When there are so many martial arts here, who would waste their time looking at an old stone?"

"Even the Bloodline of Cheon Family ignores it too, but maybe you have some connection with him that drew you to look," he finished, to which Cheon Mujin smiled and responded, "Maybe you are right." Then he moved to the front of the sapphire pillar, where there were a hundred sword scratches embedded on the sapphire.

"And this?" Cheon Mujin asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"Quite the mess, right? People say that the sword scratches carved there were Cheon Ma's epiphany, but someone desecrated it so that no one can get their hands on the Founding Father's martial arts." The guard said with a sigh.

Cheon Mujin looked at it, and his usually stringlike eyes widened. These sword scratches were not mere desecrations, but sword techniques left by two of the most powerful figures in the Sky Demon Order.

Cheon Mujin was granted Godly-level martial arts, which is why he recognized the movements and the sword slashes executed here as if he had Nano Machine.

There were two sword traces left behind here. The Sword Force of the Heavenly Demon and the Destructive Sword Technique.

Cheon Mujin analyzed the sword techniques left by the two legendary swordsmen of the Cult and fell into a trance. The sword technique may have looked like mere sword traces left behind to mock the ancestor, but for Cheon Mujin, this was the greatest treasure.

Hundreds of movements entered his mind in a simulation. Before he could even count the hour, his two-hour limit came to an end, alongside the epiphany.

"Ha, ha, ha, hahahaHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed madly. Then he looked at the poem written behind the Sapphire Monolith and saw some holes with some patterns on it. Without hesitation, Cheon Mujin registered those inside his mind and cracked the hidden code. Those patterns inside the poem were the breathing technique of the Sword Technique.

"This is what a real sword technique is!" Without saying anything else, Cheon Mujin utilized his movement technique and ran outside the library.

He was so fast that he looked like a blur; in five seconds, he traversed the entire academy and arrived in the middle of the forest.

In a trance-like manner, he performed a technique.

Sword Force of the Heavenly Demon: First Formation

With beautiful and deadly execution, Cheon Mujin unleashed a martial arts move that could have destroyed mountains and split the sea. The air itself screamed from its brilliance, and the surrounding trees were uprooted by the sharp energy.

After performing that, he executed another technique.

Destructive Sword Technique: First Formation

With another godly set of movements performed, the air trembled, and the sky screamed from his excellence.

He unfolded hundreds of miraculous movements, sets of movements that no one could have thought possible.

After Cheon Mujin performed the two techniques, he let out mad laughter and shouted, "This! This is what I've been searching for!"
