"What happened to me? What was that Weird voice? Where am I?" Jake woke up confused with many questions. The last thing he remembered was going out to beach when he was hit by a car. He saw his own organs crushed. He knew he was dead. In his life he was always someone who would utilize logic to find the simplest solution to a problem. So It made no sense after see his death he would wake up in what looked to be a jungle of giant grass.

[ Host has awoken. Initiating introduction to the Mythological Evolution system.] As he was thinking this the voice came back. His first thought was that he somehow ended in a situation like those often portrayed in books where the protagonist is reborn. The thought was just absurd. Someone has to be prank. The the voice spoke again.

[That is correct you have been reborn. I will be your guide in this new life. to get you started I have taken the liberty of choosing your first for a carpenter ant.]

"What the hell?1" As the voice spoke Jake finally realized he was no longer. In the few minutes of his new life he had even looked at his hands or in this case legs. "Why have you done this to me?"

I will give an explanation of the Mythological Evolution system. So listen carefully as it is integral to your survival in this world.] As it spoke the voice had made sure it had Jake's full attention.

[ The Mythological Evolution system or M.E.S for short is meant to help the user that is you grow into the most powerful being to oppose the gods.] As the voice was speaking Jake thought the abbreviation for the name was right the system really is a mess.

"Ow! What the hell!" He suddenly felt a electric shock go through him. as the voice spoke. [ Host please do not make fun of me. I may be here to help you on your journey. But that mean I will let you be rude to me.] As it spoke Jake realized in wasn't some programmed voice but that it was sentient. [Now that you have learned your lesson I will continue the explanation.]

[The system has a variety of ways for you to achieve this goal for one you can grow a single form stronger, evolve into new stronger form, learn the fighting styles of this world, or even use magic. Though keep in mind that each form has a limit to the strength it can achieve on it's own.]

"Wait! Your saying this world has magic." When Jake was young he was always obsessed with book base in world of magic and swords.

[Yes that is correct. But your current form is unsuitable for that. It is to low of a tier to be able to withstand magic you need at least a tier 3 form. Tiers are a basic and broad way of measuring a creature's strength they go from tier 1 your basic bugs found anywhere, all the way up to tier 10 beings able to oppose the gods.Now strength vary even in tiers. For example a spider is stronger than an ant. But both are tier one. Needless to say your current form is tier 1.]

*Rustle, rustle* As Jake was listening to the explanation he heard a strange sound. When turned to look he saw another ant appear from the place in question. But this one unlike him was red while he was black. The voice chimed in.

[Prepare to defend your self it will attack you as are it's instincts. Since its your first time fighting I will guide you. When it attacks you move to the side and use your pincers to attack the area where it's head is attached to it's abdomen and crush it.]

Jake did as the voice said. When the red ant started charging to try and catch him in its pincers he moved to the side and bit at the area the voice specified and crushed it.

As the voice spoke Jake was trying to figure out what this all means. He was able to figure out what Exp as it said it affected his current form but what was Ep used for. [ As you have already guessed Exp is what affects your current tier of forms. But Ep short for Evolution points is a currency used to purchase items from the shop most of which would not be helpful as of now except for the unlocking of the next tier of evolution. You view this at anytime by think of your status.]
