“I thought you were different from all the Royals,” her tone was different.
She is not smiling this time, she is frowning, and her eyes are sharp. She doesn't seem to be the Ariella I first met. It was as if someone else was in front of me.
“A-Ariella…”
She ate the last piece of her food before she stood up and went to the counter. I followed her. She gave the plate at the end of the counter, where it should be placed if you already used them.
“I’m sorry…” I stopped when she turns around.
“You left without saying goodbye, and you dare showed up? You are just like them; arrogant and selfish royals.” She whispered, but her tone was hard. “That is why you didn't come home with me… because you are planning to move to your royal chamber.” My eyes widened. She emphasizes the last two words.
“A-Ariella, that’s n-not it—”
“Excuse me, Lady Jasmine.” And she passed me. “I have to study.”
