We need to Calm Down

The day goes smoothly without any distraction from other people since three of them decide to go explore around the town while Rin need to go to her rehearsals as the final days just around the corner. Rin battles inside her mind on how to tell her childhood as she knows that girl could react badly but there is no way to do that. She knows that time won’t wait for her and decide to tell that girl while they are lounging at the living room after dinner, “Hey, I get offer to join a company here and I accept it which mean I won’t return back with you.”

Aria can’t believe on what she just hear and think her best friend just try to deceive her that make her tries to deny that, “Please don’t joke around! We promise that we will always together, right?”

She turns towards two guys and notice they don’t surprise with the news. She remembers those two are idols which mean they may has heard rumors. Shock still render herself speechless but she force herself to ask them, “You guys already knows about this?”

“There are rumors circulate about Rin get scout by one of well-known company here.” Keitarou tells that girl while can’t put aside his worries as it clearly the atmosphere there slowly drop few degree.

Ryouhei tries to explain carefully, “Rin-chan already told me when we go out for grocery shopping. That only happens because I bring out rumors that I heard before.”

“Why both of you always tell me things when it already too late?” Aria’s eyes become teary that make her voice crack a bit when say that as it is not the first time that similar thing happen. She adds as dart towards Rin, “Even on the day of you lose your parent, I only learn that during their burial!”

Her emotion makes her totally forget to constraint herself and everything that she keep inside her explode out. She turns to Ryouhei to tell him, “You suddenly decide to become an idol when you work really hard to become soccer player! I thought we are friends!”

“Stop acting like kid! We already grow up and we can’t stay the same from the past!” Ryouhei scold her that makes that girl startled. It is his first time to use that tone and it already too late when realize how he say it that enough to make that girl tremble.

Everyone feel guilty when see Aria’s tears and can’t move as they witness she flees away from the place. Keitarou become the first one who manages to snap out, “We should chase for her!”

“She won’t listen to us when she’s like that. Her thinking is always too childish and to be honest, I’m tired of it.” Ryouhei cover his face with his palm. That terrible conscience comes too late and his mind can’t process anything.

Rin could feel her mouth dry and speechless that makes Keitarou choose to chase after that girl as he knows that girl may walk in danger in unfamiliar place. He tries to guess which way she may choose and manage to find her, staying at pavement without do anything with her eyes totally died and her shoulder slump forward.

Keitarou carefully get near her before says something to grab her attention, “You should wear something warmer since you’re sensitive over cold weather.”

“You don’t have to come here! You can be like those two; just ignoring me! I know it’s not their fault and I’m way too childish to wish over something like that!” Aria say as her tears continuously drop without do anything on it.

Keitarou drape some jacket on her while saying, “Ryouhei said you’re sensitive to cold. Wear this.”

“Why you come for me?” Aria asks that as she knows that guy just too kind to say no when anyone ask help from him. Those two must ask help from him to search her and bring her back.

“I’m here because I worry about you. The moment you flee from the house, I feel like I will lose you if I didn’t chase you.” Keitarou’s genuine and calm reply that make Aria gasps a bit. She gives no response when he pulls her into his arm and his shaking arms shows he’s relief to found her.

Keitarou’s mind imagines bad things that may happen to that girl and it’s already too late to find her. His action makes him wonder why he reacts like that as he rarely cares about someone that he happens to get acquaintance with. He lightly shakes his thought off and tells himself that things are good, for now.

“We should do something.” Rin tries to break down the tense atmosphere. It already too long for both Keitarou and Aria out and haven’t come back yet without any contact from any of them.

Ryouhei mess his hair before says, “Yeah, we should but I don’t know what I should do. I just say something that hurt her. That girl won’t forgive me.”

Both of them want to go out to search Aria but stop when receive short mail from Keitarou, ‘She’s with me. We will return there soon.’

The only thing that they can do is waiting at home until Keitarou arrives home with sleeping Aria on his back. He could see those two want to say something but it already too late that make he tells them, “Just let her sleep and we should go to sleep too. Tomorrow is big day for you, Rin.”

Rin helps him to bring Aria to the bed and ask when Keitarou fixes blanket on the sleeping girl, “Will she hate me?” she doesn’t know what to do if something that happen even she knows that girl is someone that easily forgive anyone.

“You know she’s too pure for that. She told me that she worries that both of you will hate me because she explode at you.” Keitarou assure her.

“It seems all of us have same thinking.” Gentle smile appear on her face.

The next morning, everyone wake up with delicious smell and check to see Aria busy at the kitchen, prepares breakfast. She happily says, “You guys should wash your face first before we take breakfast together. Rin-chan, will you be okay to take breakfast here or you want me to prepare bento for you?”

Everyone dumbstruck to see her behavior that make they think what happen last night is just a bad dream. Aria put her hands on waist before says, “I’m sure we don’t have time to act dumb like that.”

“Are you already okay?” Ryouhei ask that while try not to touch any of last night’s incidents.

Aria smiles like a little girl while give one-word reply, “Yes!”

They try to digest what actually happen in such short period until Aria tries to push all of them to the sink. She doesn’t want to think again on what happen last night and only focus on days ahead her. She knows things could change in one click and she has no power to force her ideal to other people.

Rin has to leave first as she needs to do final rehearsal and other thing but the other three want to send her. At the entrance, Aria hugs Rin while saying, “Let me give you all of my luck before you go to the stage.”

The guys could see that girl is hugging the life out of her and they quickly break the hug. Ryouhei says, “I think she already gets enough luck from you or she will be late.”

Aria pout to hear that as she want to hug longer but manage to say, “Okay~, I l already transfer enough for her~! Rin-chan, good luck for everything you do today!”

“We will hang-out around here while waiting the time for the door to open.” Keitarou inform her before he joins Ryouhei to pull Aria away before she could give more hug to Rin.

Rin giggles to see that before she walks into the building and she meet-up with Jun who seem already wait for her at the board where they sign for attendance. He says, “You have such interesting friends.”

“Yeah, even there are times that hard to handle them, they are my prized treasure.” Rin sound happy as her mind remembers memories with them where she doesn’t need to hold up on anything.

“But I can see clearly how you care about them. I’m jealous with you because I never have anyone like them in my life before.” Jun want to hint her something but it seem totally slip out from her since her reaction is not like what he imagine.

Rin give casual reply, like what he’s saying has nothing to do with her, “You will find them real soon. Sometimes, those people just nearby you but you failed to notice it.” She goes to her dressing room to get ready for the rehearsal and later, for the opening performance.

The stage play goes smoothly and everyone show they satisfy to watch the storyline. Aria claps her hand and says that loud enough for the guys to hear, “Rin makes the right decision because she knows the right place for her to shine brightly.”

Those two guys exchange glance and seem like have some kind of conversation that only they can understand before turn their attention back the stage. They know that there is no way that girl will get hints that they drop.

Soon later in the evening, Aria decides to take walk at nearby park with Keitarou since Ryouhei have to go somewhere to buy things that his sister ask and Rin has to stay back at the theater. Aria says while both of them walk aimlessly, “You know you don’t have to join me. You may want to check things with Ryo-chan. I heard he’s going to great places.”

“Ryouhei is the one who ask me to accompany you. He’s really worry about you.” Keitarou say that even there part of him that volunteers himself to do that. He only wants to make sure that girl happy and doing great.

Aria let out shy giggles before says, “His worries are in same level with oyaji.” Her eyes notice a kiosk that sell ice-cream that make her pull Keitarou’s hand instantly.

“Let’s enjoy ice-cream.” Aria happily exclaim. She wants to choose ice-cream together with him but he asks her to wait at the bench since there are lines to buy that.

Keitarou buys her an ice-cream and ask her to wait there while he goes somewhere. Aria doesn’t think too much as she gets what she want at that moment; ice-cream. The thought of that cold sensation of the treat is enough to make her drift into her own world where only sweet things happen there.

Keitarou return few minutes after that and says, “Sorry for make you waiting.”

“What are you searching?” Aria wonders where that guy go since he doesn’t mention anything to her. He even only buys one ice-cream for her.

Keitarou take seat beside her before give a small pouch to her and says, “I found someone sells this and I think this suit you.”

Aria wants to check it but she can’t put aside her ice-cream. Keitarou chuckles to see it and says, “You can check it later or you can’t enjoy your ice-cream.”

“You’re such a nice guy. Any girl who gets close with you will be the luckiest person.” Aria bluntly says out her thought. She keeps the pouch inside her bag and continues enjoying that cold treats.

After that, they continue their walk and bump with Ryouhei and Aria asks, “Where have you been, Ryo-chan?”

“My nee-chan asked me to buy something and lucky I get that easily.” Ryouhei say that as he lifts up his hand to show the paper bag.

Aria could guess what kinds of thing his sister asks and giggles when remember the conversation few days before. Stomach grumble interrupt them and Ryouhei says, “Rin-chan told me that she will return late and I think it’s better for us to grab something before go back.”

“So, what we’re going to eat?” Aria excitedly ask even she just eat ice-cream less than an hour ago.

“I know where to go.” Ryouhei confidently say that as he has done some research and doesn’t want to lose to some Korean guy who wants to impress them before.

“EH?! Why we have to return tomorrow?” Aria whine when hear the plan for the next day. She totally forgets that she only there to watch Rin’s play and has return back to Japan soon after that.

“Baka, we have our own work and your dad won’t let you stay here any longer.” Ryouhei retort as he playfully smack her head.

Aria puffs her cheeks without want to say anything and sipping her drink using straw and keep making noise. Ryouhei gradually become annoy with it and get ready to hit her but Keitarou quickly calm him down.

Keitarou turn to Aria and tries to change her mood, “I’m sure you’re looking forward for new arrival of kimono since it almost season change.”

Aria’s eyes sparkle when remember that and says, “We should pack our things when we reach home.”

Ryouhei practically sweat-dropped to witness that girl easily change her aim and honestly praise Keitarou, “I never imagine you can easily handle her.”

“Maybe I just happen to have my luck at the moment.” Keitarou says that since he just happen to make guess and never think she easily accept it.
