Way back.

Nate has taken most of his time scrolling through the map interface, trying his best to locate his territory, but all was to no avail. His location was just too far away from Panama City that he couldn't see the green light on his territory even after an hour of searching.

All that he could see was a green arrow pointing towards the south indicating that he should scroll towards that direction, but all was to no avail. 'Just where am I, and how far am I from home, how did we cover such distance in a week, ' Nate was wondering as he looked at Leo who was still doing his thing ignoring him.

'If only you will give me the answers I need without putting me through this pressure, ' Nate thought.

He just got a message from the system that says someone unknown has attacked his base. For the system to state the people unknown means that Nate hasn't encountered such people before and he knows nothing about them.

If it was the matrix, the system will state them as the matrix, if it was the zombie hunters, the system will state them as hunters, but since the attackers were strangers, he had no idea who they are.

Of course, he can easily locate it with a base on the system map, but he just wants to see how far he was from home.

[Horde eye has been used]

Although Nate might be far from the others, certain skills such as horde eye have no limitation of distance. No matter how far he is from the others, he could still use it on them to see what was happening on the other side.

A holographic screen appeared before him with live footage of what was happening in his territory. As usual, the skill was used on one of the birds Nate has made undead. He can't use the horde eye on his agreement initiators, so he could only use the birds.

The first thing he noticed was that the environment was new, however, he had no time to look into this and assumed that might be one of the conquered areas by his horde.

It was at this moment he saw his entire horde members and V coming out from one of the skyscrapers.

Nate focused on the enemies, as that was dealt with as soon as they came.

"It all turned out to be some people that think highly of themselves and decided to attack a base been coached by Lyon," Nate muttered as he was glad that they were dealt with immediately after they appeared.

But this didn't make him think what if it was a great threat that Lyon himself can take, what will he do? 'They must be a way to get back, ' Nate thought.

'Maybe, through the same means we got here faster, ' Nate looked at Leo, but he know that the NPC won't help him or tell him anything else he will have to do something in return.

'Anyways, if I need answers, I will have to play along with his bossy game,' with that, Nate was ready to start his journey when he remembered something.

'That's all? ' Nate was shocked at how little his rewards were.

As a diamond medal, Nate was expecting a list of the skills, or multiple level-ups to appear but all he got was a skill and a level-up. The discount part he has no idea what it was since it was new.

Nate decided to start with the level-up.

Mostly, Nate loves keeping his attributes balanced in either all of them in the same unit or setting them in five and ten.

Now with that aside, Nate was ready to check his new skill out.

Honestly, most time Nate wants to check a new reward which was skill, he was always nervous about what he might get and what the function of the skill might be.

'Here am I looking for a way back home, while I have the way all in my zombie system all this while, ' Nate thought.

With this skill, he can now go back to the others without having to bother about the means. But however things may be, Nate knows it waforof his good that he should not go yet.

One was that if he was to go, he won't be able to take Leo along, and if that happens, he will be missing the one opportunity he has to know the truth since he doesn't know the way to come back later.

Another way that e skill is stated is that it only works from one territory to another, and can only be used twice a day by each person that uses it. The problem here is that Nate is yet to have any of his territories close by which he can go and utilize the skill.

'I need to stay, I can't miss this moment,' Nate thought knowing the importance of knowing more about the world he was in after all he has come to believe that all that has been happening so far was not programs in a game rather was real life and any slightest mistake can cost him his life.

With that thought in mind, Nate was ready to rock and roll with the quest set for him.

One could see a silhouette running from the distance, the silhouette's figure was slowly getting closer and clear as it runs through the sinking snow.

Most humans, won't be able to run on snow like the silhouette does since it was just too much exhausting and frustrating to run on sinking ground and still maintain your speed accurately.

However, this person was not just a regular person, rather, was a zombie with unlimited stamina that could keep him running forever.

'Although I won't be getting tired soon, it's still frustrating to run on snow, they keep making my movement sluggish, ' Nate thought to himself, if only he know how fast he was moving on the snow, he wouldn't be saying what he just said.

Of course, this silhouette was Nate and his entire body was currently covered in what seemed like a black cloak made out of bear fur.

This was what Jim's cloak turned into after Nate upgraded it with the help of the master craft skill. The cloak not only has become darker than before, but it now has furs covering its entire body.

No doubt, this was just warm enough to prevent Nate from freezing outside of the house.

That wasn't all about the cloak, it now has special effects on it.

All in all, this was just the perfect thing Nate needed to embark on the journey of truth.

Soon, after running for some time, Nate finally saw the woods ahead of him and quickly increased his speed.

Soon, he was walking among the woods slowly with his blending skill. Luckily for Nate, it didn't take long for him to locate what he was looking for.

It was a Deer fisting a wolf. It was kind of sight since it was meant to be the other way around, but a wolf was being eaten by a deer.

Regardless, of what it may be, Nate didn't care, to him, what matters the most was that the deer is a king-tier-level beast, the perfect target he was looking for.
