Skill wart.

[Skill wart = This is an inbuilt store in the system where the host can purchase battle skills with its experience points.

There are two ways the host can purchase a skill. Either a "permanent" purchase or a "temporary" purchase.]

[Permanent purchase = the host will permanently learn the skill]

[Temporary purchase = When purchased temporarily, the host will be able to use this skill for a given amount of time before it expires]

Seeing this brought a smile to Nate's face in the end. 'Just now I was thinking the diamond reward was too lame,' Nate thought.

The diamond reward has offered Nate three things. One instant level up. This was something Nate no longer consider something since he would always level up every day.

The second was a grant of privilege. The reward wasn't bad but it didn't match Nate's expectations based on how hard it was for him to complete such a quest.

But the skill mart was something. With this skill, he can purchase multiple skills to aid himself in battle.

The two battle skills he had was already helpful. The lightfoot skill had helped him in so many ways such as outrunning an opponent.

The second one was the vortex punch. This was a great martial arts skill that Nate used in taking down some strong opponents.

'Let's see what I can but?' Nate thought as he opened the skill mart.

[16,372,500 experience points]

[Skill available]

[Sword master>>> available for sales]

[Marksman master>>> available for sales]

[Phantom figure>>> not available for sales]

[Phantom strikes>>> available for sales]

[...]

There were just too many skills to buy and learn.

One thing that caught Nate's attention though was the sword master skill and other weapon skills.

'I thought since I have the Soul weapon skills I don't need to bother about this. Is it because the soul weapon skill only shows me the most likely area I can strike an opponent to get them, that doesn't mean I'm great at using a sword after all,' Nate thought.

Another thing Nate wondered was whether the skills have levels or something of that sort. So far, all of Nate's skill does not level up, they were just there for him to use.

'Let's check the price first,' Nate thought.

Clicking on the sword master skill. Its cost appeared before Nate.

[Cost for temporary purchase = 10,000 Exp]

[Cost for permanent purchase = 100,000]

'What the fuck... that's too much...,' Nate nearly screamed.

He decided to check on the marksman master skill to see the same cost.

'Is this the general cost for all weapons?' Nate wondered.

He went for the third skill on the list.

[Error...the host is yet to reach the requirement to learn this skill]

The one Nate selected was the Phantom figure skill. 'Then what is the requirement,' Nate asked.

[Requirement to learn this skill. The host agility must be at least one hundred points without any borrowed points]

Seeing this, Nate seems to understand how the shop works. 'So I can't just learn every skill, there are certain expectations required from me to learn this skill, but shouldn't I at least be able to purchase in advance?' this time though, Nate didn't get any reply from the system.

Putting that aside, Nate went for the next skill which he can purchase.

[Phantom strike = Requirements have been reached. The host can purchase.]

[Cost for temporary use = 5000 Exp.]

[Cost for permanent use = 50,000 Exp]

'This one is cheaper than the others but why,' this was the question Nate had but no one can answer that for him.

'16,372,500... If I take those three out from this amount of experience point I know it's nothing but...ahh, Just get over it, the skills are for your good,' Nate snapped at himself.

Although the latter might have a huge number of experience points, the truth is that he was not willing to lose not even one point.

Regardless, he still need those skills for himself and this was the only way he can get those skills.

[Three skill costs of 250,000 Exp points have been purchased. The host's current balance is >>>16,122,500]

'This is robbery though, but I still got my skill,' Nate thought with a smile.

Checking on the skill, Nate found a couple of things out.

[Skill level has been merged to the system level]

'What does this mean?' Nate frowned.

Thinking more about it, Nate soon realized what it was about. 'Is this why none of my skills have their independent level, it's all because they all share the same level... The more I level up, the more my skill levels up,' Nate wondered.

After that, Nate was more interested in what the skills can do. Right now, he had no weapon on him that's why he summoned his axe and altered it into a sword.

Instantly, Nate started to feel some sense of familiarity with the sword. 'It felt no different from my soul weapon skill but rather than showing me a place to attack, it is telling me how to attack, this is good' Nate thought.

He currently does not have a gun or crossbow with him to test the Markman master skill, but he strongly believes it must work the same way with the sword.

Now looking at the phantom strike skill, Nate was wondering what the skill can do.

[Phantom skill = This strike helps the host to create a fake strike to confuse its opponent]

'So this does not increase my attack by any means, it's just something to confuse my opponent, that the Phantom figure works like this,' Nate does not have a good impression of the skill but first, before he will decide whether the skill was a waste of Exp point or it worth it, nate have to test it out.

Unfortunately, for him to test it out, he needs to an opponent, but there was none at the moment.

That was not for long though because the next moment, Bull came descending from the hole on the roof. The latter seems to be in a hurry as he looked around the place for someone.

His eyes eventually saw who he was looking for. "You are okay..." he said surprised to see Nate standing fine.

Soon, the others started to arrive at the spot. Chuck teleported some into the lab where they found the whole place in a mess yet nothing significant could be behind it.

"Hey...you were here all this while. We were struggling to kill that thing you left us out there," Of course, Sin was the one to complain.

He thought Nate have not been in a battle of his own since no dead body except that of General Goo was found in the room.

However, Nate summoned his kills out for the others to see.

Two body of titans with a tyrant appears causing everyone to step back.

"Do you still think I was doing nothing?" Nate asked Sin.

Sin seeing this couldn't believe his eyes. 'Was he able to kill two of those things while I couldn't even kill one?' Sin wondered.

What Sin didn't know is that he can actually kill one of those titans, that is if he had an idea about their duplicating power.

After reassuring everyone that the titan was dead, it was only then that some of the others dared to walk towards Nate.

Meanwhile, Bull had gone to look for something inside the titan's body but couldn't see it.

"You must be looking for this right?" Nate asked Bull who snapped out of it and looked towards Nate. The latter was holding out two crystals.

"I was initially thinking of using this to turn more of my zombie horde into titans but it's best if I upgrade the ones I have rather than creating another one," Nate said as he handed the crystals over to Bull.

"The titan's body will be preserved for Mark to run a few experiments on, so you should keep them for now," Nate instructed.

"What about him?" Bull asked pointing at General Goo.

"I will take him," Dike suddenly said and used his tentacles to pick up General and tossed it into his mouth.

Nate was surprised to see this, but he was in for more surprise when Dike spites out a green bubble and coming out from it was general goo.

"You can do that?!!" Nate asked with a little bit of hope flashing on his face.

"Yeah, but it's a pity that he had no brain, I can't create his personality without that," Dike explained.

Hearing this, the light of hope in nates eye disappeared. Regardless, he still decided to discuss with Dike and the latter explained his evolution to Nate.

Nate was surprised to learn that Dike have earned himself a title like a horde leader.

After this, Nate decided to advise Dike on how to lead a horde especially one that had no will. After that, Nate was off for something else.

[New territory has been conquered]

'Now let's start the plane for the forever winter ice land,' Nate thought smiling.
