Invitation.

Honestly, Lyon did not know there was someone else in the scene except before them and to top it off the most, it was the group of people they once met and later split paths after going through quite a tough fight with the monkey beast. V, Ron, and Tony had already been sent flying to the car and because of this, Lyon, Dike, and Bull failed to notice them except for Nate.

However, Nate was able to notice them way before they arrived at the scene and this was all thanks to his eagle that kept on hovering over them.

Lyon also did not bother to think about why the beast was out in the first place, if any beast was to be seen in the daytime, this only means that it already has its eye on a target that it could not afford to lose. However, none of this ever crossed Lyon's mind as he jumped into the fight using his power.

Regardless of this, Nate did not seem to be bothered by this, if worse comes to worst, then they could just end the lives of the three. If it was before, he might be bothered but now, he was confident in his strength and he could take the three down alone.

Nevertheless, when things haven't turned south, he decided to play normally in front of them. "So we meet again," Nate said with a smile.

V and his friends stopped in their tracks and took a fighting stance while being cautious. "So they do exist" murmured V as he lock up he gave starting from Dike to Nate. Though he murmured, it was clearly heard by Nate and the others.

Meanwhile, Bulls face frowned, " I thought you know them?" Bull said also getting ready for battle, however, Nate had just used the telecommunications with him.

"What would you have done if you see someone you know displaying unbelievable feats? Will you relax and stay beside them or will you become cautious of what they are"

"Besides, that was the same thing you usually did before you join the horde," Nate said, hearing this it made more sense to Bull, however, he still took a stance, only Nate and Lyon with Dike were standing.

"I don't know what you think, but if we get back to the base don't mention this to Lily, I'm not ready to undergo another brain test" Tony mumbled.

V never returned the greeting but was still looking at Nate.

"Fine! Whatever let's get out of here" nate said to Lyon and the rest as they turned to head out, it then did V snap out of his daze and called out.

"Wait! " he said as he ran towards them because they have just covered a larger distance away from them just by a few sprints.

"I was just in I daze, I never thought I will be meeting one of your kind," V said and by the time he also could cover the distance, he was already panting for air.

"What is there to be in a daze, and what do you mean meeting my kind, he is the only one that is a superhuman" Nate lied, since Lyon was the only one that showed a supernatural feat, Nate was hoping to put all the blame on him in a way.

"No need for that, I have already seen it all, from that day of the beast, and I also want to use this opportunity to thank you for saving our lives," V said and kneeled.

"I was not saved by him, he did," Tony said pointing at Lyon, however, just a kick on his shinbone was all it takes to get his knees on the ground.

"You guys are ridiculous, I only did that for my gain, killing that beast and taking their crystal is the hefty reward one will ever get in a world as this" Nate said.

Hearing this did not change anything, as V still was kneeling." Where is hazard?" He asked after not seeing Peter, only new faces that he did not bother so much about.

"And why should we answer that?" Lyon interrupted him. V could only sigh. However, something popped into his mind.

"Why don't you guys follow us back to our base, I can guarantee you that it is a safe place"

Everyone was shocked, Tony and Ron could not believe his ear."Are you crazy, you can't invite someone to the base just like that" Ron could not help but shout. Tony could not find the right phrase to say anything.

"And what was the base established for, it was created by Lily to give shelter to those that do not have," V said.

It was the second time Nate has heard this name and could not help but wonder who it was.

Meanwhile, Ron know that V was right, in fact, he was only objecting because of the classes of people Nate and Lyon were. Though they are not that sure about Bull and Dike for someone to still stay around and mingle with Nate and his business, they are likely to be superhuman as well and the thought of people like that living in their base sent shivering around Ron's body.

All he could think of is if one day, they eventually decide to dominate the base, there will be no one in the base that will be able to struggle with them.

Meanwhile, Ron was having this thought in his mind, and V was thinking about the opposite. 'Having a superhuman among us will definitely increase our base power to a high extent that our survival rate will be high!' V secretly thought with joy. Regardless of what so ever he had in mind for inviting Nate, Nate still have to accept the invitation first.

Meanwhile, Nate seems to be thinking of something. Though his face was drilled with emotion, the truth is that he is shocked and surprised that V just invited him to their base. He could not tell if the former was just too careless or if he had another motive for inviting him.

"I never said we are looking for a place to stay, in fact, I have a good place that I and my people stay" Nate replied.

Hearing this, Ron and Tony sighed, meanwhile, V had a disappointed look on his.

"But, they might be a chance one day, I might come, " Nate said. Tony and Ron feel like telling him to stay and not worry about coming over, however, when their gave met with V, they shut up.

"No problem then, I will be expecting you guys," V said before stretching out his hand for a handshake, however, Nate did not take it, instead, he tossed out a crystal to V.

"Hey! That was my kill" Lyon complained. Unfortunately, his crying wasn't heard. The crystal was that from the alligator beast.

"I don't think we will be needing this," Nate said before they left with a race.

After they were out of sight, Tony and Ron came to his side. "You better have a good reason for inviting him over," Ron said.

Meanwhile, V brought out the spear and started to inspect it. The spear was glowing slightly even without V trying to activate the spear's ability.

"This has only happened once when we fought against that fat zombie, the spear was acting by itself and now, it is happening again"
