It was just a matter of time, Sin the leader and the founder of the base Kai was dwelling on, already know that at some point, the fallen government will try to take what was rightfully theirs back, but being who he is and having gone too far in governing the base himself, it was just too late for him to turn back and hand all the authority back to the government, he was ready to put a resistant against them.

He had totally mistaken the battalions heading towards them as the state army or something of that sort, never had it clicked on his mind that it was a full-scale attack from another surviving base.

Regardless, although he has already made up his mind on what to do next, he still wants to hear and know what the others think about the matter. He faced Kai who still have his eye fixed on the hologram screen.

"What do you think we should do?" Sin asked looking at Kai.

It was at this juncture that Mia's consciousness appeared inside Kai. He has Sin's question and did not waste time and answered.

"This is new, all think we should do is ask them what they want, maybe they are not enemies and we can reach an agreement with them," Mia was already putting his plans in motion, if he succeeds in convincing Sin to walk up to the battalions, then they could outrightly strike him, if things went well, they might even be able to kill him.

Killing Sin will end the war effortlessly and the other men could even surrender and they could just take control of the base without spilling much blood.

However, just like they say, things don't just go as one wants, hearing Kai's idea, it was a good one though, this way, they might prevent bloodshed but the problem here Is that Sin doesn't care, whether they will be bloodshed or not, he doesn't care, he could only shake his head at the idea of making peace.

"And what if things don't go as we thought, what if they choose to fight us, I'm suspecting that those people were sent by the governments to take over the state, but I'm not someone that has a close relationship with the government, we are rivers,"

When Mia heard what Sin thought about the battalions heading towards their base, a smile appeared on his lips but he was quick to wipe it off before he becomes suspicious.

"Then if that's what you think about them, I think that the only option here is to get into a fight with people we have no idea who they are, not like your anticipation was wrong, but there is a great chance that those people are not sent by the government, and we should also know that we are not the only surviving base, there might be another base trying to expand their territory and maybe by reaching an agreement with them, then we can avoid this," Mia said in an advising manner.

If there is a way, Mia was trying to avoid the upcoming fight, not that he cares about the people that will die, instead, it was because he need them alive, both the people from Kai's base and those from his, if it was possible and they finally reached an agreement, them they will be able to possess as many people in the base and maybe lunch a surprise attack on Sin just Lil they did to Chris.

When hearing it from the angle Mia sounded, Sin was having a second thoughts about this, after a slight moment of silence, he looked at Kai.

"Fine, you are making a bit sensitive, maybe I should give peace a chance, however, you are going to meet them, Batt will be accompanying you with some other troops, things better turn out as you said," Sin said as he was ready to leave.

Preparations were been made, not only for Kai's departure but also for the upcoming fight.

Axes, guns, and even boots and gloves made from meteorite stones were been given to the people who feel like they can bring out the full potential strengths of the supernatural weapons. Soon, Kai was sitting in the back row of a military armoured car, though his body was there, his mind and consciousness were somewhere else.

Inside the dark room, Mia was already back as head back to his sit.

"I said it... That Sin of a guy is something else," Kai said as he saw the facial expressions on Mia's face. Mia at this point was looking sad and angry.

The reason for this is that he failed to convince Sin to meet up with their battalion, not only before they left the base, but he had saw the preparation that was been made, the ammunition of the base was just too devastating, not only that, he also saw some weapons made from meteorite stones and their amount is something he could not count just from a glance.

"Things will be harder than we thought, that Sin guy must have ridden five or more military bases for him to have such an amount of ammunition, no wonder he is leaving a carefree life in a time like this," Mia muttered.

The others did not need him to explain what he saw, they were also following his activities and had seen just how massive Kai's base was in terms of ammunition, rather than discouraging them, it was encouraging them instead.

They need those strengths to be able to go against Nate, with this power they can easily hunt Nate down and do away with him.

"At least, you guys now understand how hard it was for me, that guy has just plotted a huge amount of fear inside his subordinates," Kai said feeling delighted that Mia and the others will not think he is a loser. It was really hard for Kai, unlike Kai that has the triplets that assist him in some works, Kai was alone, he was the only matrix in the base after all.

Honestly, even after discovering how hard it was to stay in Kai's base, Nate felt like Kai was still a loser, Mia know that if it was him, regardless of how hard it was, he will definitely find a way to dominate the base based on the amount of time given to him and Kai was given enough time yet he messed up.

Mia ignored Kai and looked at Green. "There will be a change of plane, gather the fluids you have made so far, it is time to put them to work"
