Kai has been pretty busy on his base side. Things have been moving quite forward for him, meanwhile, he was not the only one within the matrix group that was busy. N

Mia and the triplet has been set a trial just like Kai, however, theirs were a lot more different from Kai's own, instead of setting up an area where they would have to battle against a horde of zombie or beast, they were sent out to get replenish their exhausted supply's.

Daly, the population of the group was raising as more people were been rescued by those that were sent to explore the city to find any food supplies or anything that might be useful for the survival of the base.

With this, many workers were around because mandatory it is that everyone must work for the base whether they like it or not.

The job wasn't an easy one though, they have to break through many pathways blocked by zombies, however, someone, in particular, was not finding the job fun.

"This sucks!" Red yelled out as he just stepped on a zombie's head crushing it.

"Remember, you must not act like you are independent of your life, else it might raise some questions" Purple warned as went ahead to gather up the zombie.

After receiving the rewards from the skull head, they are yet to make use of it. What the skull gave them was the same as Kai, a purple liquid potion that would grant them the ability to form a bond with any weapon, and anyone that were to wield it would automatically become their slave-like servant that would follow their commands and more.

However, the problem is that they are yet to get an opportunity to use the potion, Kai already used it and narrated to them how it works and how the second in command of his base was now under him.

The triplets have been waiting for Mia to come up with a plan on how they would use it but to their greatest surprise, Mia did not say anything so far.

Right now, Red, Purple, and Mia had decided to form a group of their own to go out either hunting for food or searching for survival.

The sun was setting for the day and it was time for them to start heading back to the prison base. But just then, before they could go back, they saw a sculpture running from the distance. However, the sculptor turned out to be someone they know from their base... But from the look of the person's body and so on, Mia could tell that this person has been running for a long distance.

When the man saw them, he felt like he has finally made it home and commanded in a harsh tone.

"Quick, get me back to the base fast before I cut the rest of this week's food ration off!" He commanded and kneed on the floor while trying to catch his breath.

However, Mai did not and he even had a nonchalant expression on his face.

"What are you waiting for? Or do you want me to do more than that?!" He yelled but Mia still did nothing. Purple and Red were anxious about this, but since Mia wasn't doing anything they are not going to do anything also.

"You must have seen something interesting?" Mia said smiling. This smile sent shivers running down the man's back but he still swallow the fact that Mia looked intimidated in front of him.

"You must have th..."

Before he could say anything, Mia throw out a punch at him, knocking him out that instant.

"What are you guys waiting for, quick get the bracelet and ring" Mia commanded.

Red and Purple brought Red brought out a silver with red dots ring, while Purple brought out a bracelet completely copper colour.

Taking the two, Mia started to inspect the two, he later took the ring and put it on the unconscious man's finger, after doing this, they were a slight red glow on it before the man's eyelid started to twinkle as it opened, when he eventually opened, Mia did not waste time to ask.

"Why are you running and what is it you want to report to the boss eagerly?"

"Why are you running and what is it you want to report to me eagerly?!" Chris asked with vans visible on his forehead almost popping out. By his side was Skinny his best man that follows him almost everywhere he is going. On his waist attached to his belt were a few Granada's then on his back was a long sword that one looking from the front would not notice. Meanwhile, Chris was having only a brass knuckle on his two hands while holding them up to his chin as he waits for his answers.

Meanwhile, the man that Mai and his gang saw on the road was kneeling with his face down on the floor. He has light blond hair with earrings on his nose and ear, and on his hand was a tattoo of a dick. However, even with the badass look, he was kneeling before Chris and Skinny.

"I won't ask again, Dave, what happened to all your men. I was reported that in fact, you were brought in unconscious without any single member of the troops I gave. WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?!" Chris shouted out.

It was then that the man called Dave raised his head to look Chris in the eye.

"I..i...saw him," Dave said stammering a little.

Chris's face charged as he was not understanding what Dave meant by 'I saw him.

"Hey Dave, you are one of my trusted men and that was why I even gave you a group of people to support and assist you, but you have to remember that you are still under me, so when reporting to me, try to be more precise," Chris said in a low tone trying his best to remain calm and not kill Dave right away. With that, Chris gave Dave a second chance to explain himself.

"So, who was it that you saw"

"I saw, your son Peter," Dave said hitting it stretch to the point.

Once again, Dave was giving Chris another reason to slice his throat right now and then, but he still kept himself calm as he thought about what might have happened to Dave.

Meanwhile, all this was been watched by the five matrices to be precise.

Mia had never wanted to call Kai since this was a case of their base and a general one, but Kai happens to appear out of nowhere saying that he just came to spy on their progress which was something common in the matrix circle. They all in their free time enter the dark room to spy on each other activities. However, now that Kai appeared, they quickly explain the case on board as they all watch the conversation with Dave who was now possessed and under their control.

The ring and bracelet that Mia had requested from Red and Purple were the ones made by Green and was having their blood on them which would form a bond with the ring or bracelet.

They have had this all this while, the only problem is how to get someone to wear them without raising a suspicious gaze from them and this might even reach this whose reaction would be something they don't know and wouldn't like to know.

"So this was it, if we follow his lead, they are a good chance that we might find Nate and get rid of him faster," kai said happily and was glad that this whole thing is about to get to an end. However, he was shunned by Mia.

"Do you think Nate would be an easy person to take on, you can testify to that from the former Kai memory"

"What are we going to do then?" Kai asked.

"Let's just wait and see his father's reaction first," Mia said as he faced the holographic projection.
