My Wife is a Top-tier Villainess

-WSA 2024 Entry- "You will annul the engagement with me? Jokes on you, Lenon." Aliana says while having a smirk on her face. As she was about to get arrested and executed, she calls forth a man in a peculiar outfit. He is strong enough to wipe out his enemies without sweating. His name is Jaden. Jaden, a transmigrator and an author. For some unknown reasons, he ends up inside the novel he wrote. That wasn't the main issue. He had killed off the villainess at end of the story and that very villainess knew almost everything about him. This is where a tragedy begins. Just what is it that awaits this two? A dreadful fate? A crazy journey? Or maybe all that we could think of? "Spoiling a series is a sin worth a thousand whips of a belt." -By me. Interested in this story? Read it and find out. [Chapter 3 to 20- Undergoing revision.] [After 21- It will have no changes.] Give honest reviews please. Call me Abyss, by the way. I'm new to writing. Not really, but officially yeah. His choice - IV

[■ Records: 3/3]

The purple words floated in the air, with the pitch-black lightning tracing them along. That didn't last for more than a few seconds.

The place where he was standing suddenly became foggy. The thick white layer made it impossible for him to figure out what else was there besides him.

-"Day x, Month 4, Year 887"

That fog gradually became green, changing the whole scene. What could be seen after that was nothing other than the green field he saw at the beginning of those records.

Tak tak tak

The sounds of someone walking firmly parted the silent atmosphere. Jaden's eyes spun along with his head to see who it was. The narration this time began with another male voice.

-"This king was the very pawn that broke the rules set by ■."

The man Jaden could see was someone he remembered very well. There was no way he would forget that face he saw just a few months ago.

The long and silky black hair fluttered in the air. A muscular body, trained and maintained well enough. The pair of amber-gold eyes reflected the scenery crystal clear.

-"A new dragon king rose to power when the dragons were about to be annihilated."

That man who stood on the green land was no one else but Solas Athanasios himself. The face was still the same as the one Jaden remembered seeing back during the banquet.

The dagons were indeed immortal beings, and that face looking the same even after a few hundreds of years was the proof of it.

When ■ thought that everything would go as per its plans, an odd factor had arisen. Solas realised the schemes ■ had brewed for the whole dragon tribe. Fortunately, it wasn't too late.

By the time Solas made his move, the divine beings had already killed most of the lesser dragons. The only ones that survived were the elder dragons.

During that time, some divine beings had to sacrifice themselves for the sake of their victory. That was the only factor that managed to hold the remaining divine beings back from attacking the survivors of the dragon tribe.

The war that was initiated by ■ had reached such a point that there was no telling what might even happen. What was even the goal, aim, and reason for such a cold war?

That answer simply lies in life itself. ■ goal had always been to eradicate all lifeforms present in the world. For what reason? That still remains uncertain.

The war had been stopped by Solas and a few divine beings for a short time. But that didn't last for any longer than a year. Soon, the war continued after both sides recovery.

'%%' who led the divine beings finally understood something. That war was actually an endless cycle of suffering for both the dragons and the divine beings. It took a heavy step.

'%%' had suddenly disappeared, just like once □ had vanished. As if they never existed, the divine beings continued the war without anyone to lead them.

Both factions were fighting fiercely, but for what? What would they even gain aside from each other's dead bodies? That's right, the cold-blooded war had no hope from the beginning.

Years went by as the dragons and the divine beings attacked, retreated, recovered, and attacked each other again and again. An endless loop in that hell hole called the battlefield.

The losses on both sides were so severe that all of the races involved found themselves near the verge of extinction.

The hope had been far lost; what were they even fighting for? After twenty years of going at it, most of them forgot the reasons for it. They fought continuously, as if it were only natural.

The continent was about to perish without any traces left behind. That's how fearsome the war that lasted for more than twenty years was. And no one could possibly deny that fact.

Once the beautiful cities were now nothing but piles of rocks and blood. Once the land abundantly filled with natural resources had become just wastelands, everything had been ruined.

As those words were narrated, the scene kept changing. And between all of that stood Jaden with a blank expression. Was this supposed to be the history he never knew?

'Then... who even waged a futile war...?'

--------------------

That war was utterly futile one. At first, it all began because of the ploys ■ had prepared for putting the continent into a chaotic state. But after that?

Everything went smoothly. At least, to the point where everything was being destroyed. Any more war, and the continent would've been destroyed completely.

And the first one to perish would've definitely been the human race. Other races all had special powers to defend themselves.

What humans had was knowledge, combat skills, and weaponry. Equipping themselves with armour, swords, and shields was the most common thing they did for the war. That's how they tried to survive.

The darkness surrounding humans was far more corrupt than they thought. Things had been going down badly for humans. Sadly, in that situation, no one extended hands to them.

That's when a spark flickered within that darkness. A man appeared on the battlefield, where only dragons and divine beings fought. The worn-out robe he wore made him look like a laughingstock to everyone.

They shouldn't have judged the book based on its cover. The thin, crescent-shaped blade was tainted with blood as it beheaded an elder dragon mercilessly.

'What? A human killed a dragon?'

That was certainly and surely an impossible feat to achieve. Even the strongest of the strongest would have a hard time doing that. Yet the voice spoke.

-"A hero had appeared."

'A hero?... is that...'

Jaden knew what this story was about. Humanity's first hero. The one whose actions marked the beginning of the era of heroes.

But what was the scene he was witnessing at the moment? The history he remembered mentioning in his novel was way too different. That wasn't how things were supposed to go.

The situation he was watching unfold was beyond common sense. How could a human take on dragons? That made no sense at all.

The man held the long blade tightly as he ran through the field, cutting dragons at an unimaginable speed. The golden light wrapping around his body didn't flicker a bit.

'What even is this supposed to mean...?'

The person he was witnessing fighting like crazy was supposed to have died after killing the first elder dragon at the hands of other dragons present there.

That's how he had written it in his novel. As if it were an illusion, the scene faded into fog again. The voice narrating the tale could no longer be heard. What happened after that?

Black sparks began to flicker around Jaden's body as the scene changed for another time. This time, he was standing closest to the huge tree he saw earlier.

And in front of that stood a man with a naturally muscular body. At the moment, Jaden was no longer able to feel any of his senses aside from hearing. He couldn't even move a muscle.

-"Let's end it now. The divine beings and the dragons. We both are on the verge of collapse."

Solas spoke in a cold yet uninterested manner. Jaden could see the person to whom he said that. The woman stood in front of the tree with her eyes closed.

Her green hair wavered as the wind blew around them. Jaden knew that person as well. She was the very one who protected the elves during the war and even after the war.

-"You think I desired it? Those were all the sacrifices made because of the ploys laid by ■."

Sierra confronted the dragon king fiercely. Tears rolled down her closed eyes as she tried to release her killing intent. It wasn't directed towards Solas, though. Maybe it was unintentional.

That's when everything froze for a split second. The voice was no longer heard by Jaden. What was left behind made him grab his ears.

Tssrkk tssrrkkkk tssrrrkkkkk

Instead of the scene's continuation, the sparks flew around everywhere, with the surroundings getting distorted by them. Suddenly, the voices as well as the scene playing there had stopped completely.

What remained behind was the same white space Jaden was in earlier. The grey door stood in the place where once there were black and white doors.

Jaden could somewhat imagine what had happened. This might've been the outcome of destroying the two doors. The fragments that got lost.

Jaden could see the sparks still wrapping themselves around his body. He gritted his teeth as the vibrations spread from his fingertips.

He was being getting electrocuted by the black sparks of lightning that slowly turned blue.

His vision began fading before he even got to realise what was happening. The last thing he could see was the door turning into dust again.

'Ah... Damn it...'
